A beautiful but also "dangerous" place
Very easy to let you lose your control and become either super happy or extremely angry.

They will offer VIP Free Hotel Nights and Restaurant Coupon. Buffet tickets to attract you come in but actually most stuffs get pay back way higher then the original price after you lost during gambling time.

Just went there to get a sea food buffet on Wednesday which is 21st. Drove 90 mins and Arrived casino atround 9.20Pm and we were Standing in line over 90mins. No complains, we do understand how much people want to get in have all you can eat snow crab for 49.99 $ , just remind you be ready to calm down and wait) cause waiting them get you check in will cause at least 1 or 2 hours) and you will still have to wait a little while for the available table. Even when you finally get a table you will have to stand in line again to getting your crab.

Anyway my boyfriend and I can only eat one whole crab which is about 1pound for one person. Apple juice is good our waiter Garrette is the most excellent waiter I ever had .He worked hard and took great care for us . Feel bad about them have to working so late and so hard we feel a very good tip is a nice reward for them.

In the end I have to say My boyfriend lost more then 500$ Again Again! So we paid 5 times higher then the original sea food buffet for two people

Despite the ventilation - for many non-smokers it's a terrible place to be. I like the (fairly) new Rio entrance (all the way on the right next to the poker hall, not the one shown in my picture), this is a non-smoking section and you can play a good amount of slots here in a non-smoking environment. Compared to the rest of the casino this section is very, very small though.

I gave them a 4 because I feel that they shouldn't have blocked off the area to drop people off at the door. Just because your valet service is closed due to "covid", you shouldn't barricade the driveway up to the doors. My hubby is handicapped and I usually drop him off at the front door to establishments. Other than that, it was clean and had plenty of machines to pick from. Buffet was good too.

I like it. I never win, but thats okay. I am lucky, becoz i found they have good places to eat.
Mickey Mantle's and Kirby's the best, I would recommend the skillet steak it is sooo excellent, love it.
El fenix also a very good place to eat,
Toby Keith has the best catfish.
The buffet has alot of yummy desserts to pick from so eat those first.
The rooms at the hotel are hard to beat, so are the beds.
And I thank Andrea and Doris for all the fun times they include me in.
So yeah, for me this is a great place to go for a little escapism.

I took my Fiance it was her first time and we was there for two hours and walked it with 40 and walked out with 140 it was a great experience for her and me

It was very busy, they bathroom's were very clean with the amount of people and lighting I could not tell how the cleaning of actual casino was.

I managed to leave with more $$$ than I came with so I had a great time!

Will visit again soon!

First time my wife and I visited this Casino it was AWESOME had a blast will DEFINITELY go back

They have really good COVID-19 screening as you come in and over night they shut down different sections to do full cleaning. Also if you're not drinking something or smoking or vaping they will make you put up your covering. But besides that it okay play to kill some time. Only downside of it it really hard to figure out where something are at because the building is laid out in a giant L shape

Facilities were clean and well kept. Service was OK, we didnt get greeted or helped. Wish there was a directory, took forever to find a bathroom. Other than that it's nice location.

Good place to gamble as there are a lot of different areas to play cards at.

Went for a quick trip , this place is HUGE we walked for an hour and didn't get to the end couldn't believe it . Had a great time .

Long lines and waiting for help to receive rewards that were on line. Only 1 certain player club help desk could issue the reward. And the food voucher I won covered the meal. The meal was okay and the staff was awesome.

Very big and very nice with lots and lots of slot machines to play on. Great food and great entertainment.

Great to visit if you live in the North Texas area.

Absolutely the best casino I've been to. Love the large variety of games and the decor is amazing. First time winning this good in a while. Can't wait to stop back here.

Super crowded, fountain drinks have a really strange taste, you'd expect more late night food options, and parking is terrible. The hotel gift shop is pretty awesome, though, and the kids love the shallow pool.

Huge casino. The only downside is people smoking inside.

I don t frequent casinos so I had no idea you couldn t walk through the table games to get to the other side. It s understandable but for someone who doesn t go often I had no idea. There was no blockage or signs saying not to walk through. Instead, I got confronted by a rude worker sticking her hand in my face and telling me I can t walk through. That s fine! But give some type of warning to clueless people, no need to be rude. And on top of that when I ask a waitress for a cup of coffee I was scolded at and told you re going to have to wait because I am going off shift and more people are coming on. Like I know tensions are high right now In the world but COME ON. I don t come off as rude and I m as kind as can be, so I expect the same in return. The employees here need to loose their attitude.

Great casino hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a fine property. You don't need to gamble to enjoy the spacious rooms, comfy beds and flat screen tvs along with great room service. Check out lines were a bit slow but it's a beautiful hotel and a great weekend or night get away.

Rooms are spacious but there is no smoking and no pets in your hotel room on any floor. You can not bring cocktails back to your room FROM the casino but you can take cocktails from your room to the casino, makes no sense. This room and its view was from the south tower on the 6th floor it was comped so I don't know what the price was so I know that doesn't help but if you dish out money in the casino you will be comped a room without a doubt.

This place is awesome. If you gamble responsible you are going to have a great time. I live in Dallas and the drive is about an hour and it's pretty fast. I stayed at the hotel and they put me on the 11th floor with a great view the north tower is the best veiw in my opinion. You win some you lose some but just have fun that's what it's all about.

Not a bad casino, but at the time I went, they didn't have any actual physical roulette wheels, they were all digital. Still had fun, but I like a real wheel

Really nice casino, they giveaway tons of prizes and they even have a non smoking section! That's a win right there!

Good place to have fun on a weekend.But many machines were not working properly. And I wish they had atleast some zones as smoke free!!! As there was lot of smoking happened all the time, air within the casino was easily getting polluted and so it kind of created choking effect while breathing. I stayed for almost 45 minutes and by the time I stepped out, my clothes were stinking with cigar smell. So if you are a first time visitor and you cannot withstand cigar smell, be prepared and make sure to be cautious enough by wearing a nose mask.

It was my first time to the casino and it's TRUE when they say world's biggest casino and inside it's so beautiful no question but I'm giving it 3 stars only because they dont have Lyft, Uber or taxi services so I live in California and came to Dallas Texas for work with my husband and we took Lyft to get is to the casino and when it was time to get back to the hotel we could not find a ride back when we asked the employees for assistance they said we are not sure how you guys can go back since there is not service's or taxi to get you back we are sorry and that we should try the valet service not sure how or if they can help, so we went to the valet asked for a drive back to the hotel they gave us a taxi service to call and request when I called for the cab the number was disconnected so they gave us another number to call and the guy said it's going to take us 2 and a half hours just to get to where you are and another hour to our hotel and just to get someone to say we can take you to your destination took about an hour so I went online and started to search for taxi( called yellowcab as soon as they heard Winstar casino the guy said right away sorry we don't go there and hung up the phone)so I searched again for services near me to pick me up from front of the casino to my destination in Grapevine Texas and found GoGograndparent called the number took me another 20 minutes to register over the phone and in 6minutes they were able to get us a driver to take us back thank God my husband and I were so happy we are going home. Just a headsup if you don't have a car going back from the casino make sure to book a room at their hotel because you're not going anywhere soon.

I love this resort. We stopped here on our way to Texas and the room was so nice. They even brought a crib up for our baby. I m looking forward to coming back in the summer to swim in their amazing pool and do some gambling. The breakfast was great and all the staff members were kind and accommodating. I truly didn t want to leave.

It was my first visit and I had a good time. Had a little difficulty getting signed up for my rewards club card but we finally got it going. Its truly different from the casinos in Louisiana but still fun none the less. You should maybe think of adding more complimentary drinks in your establishment. That will make me feel a little better after losing my money lol.

We had an incredible time at Winstar! Slots were really paying out in afternoon and evening we were there. We saw a lot of max bet jackpots. Left with over 500$ in winnings. Look forward to coming again!!

The hotel is very nice and the floor is kept clean of debris. Plenty of ash trays, restaurants, drink stations and bathrooms to keep you on the floor.

It's was very entertaining leaving my money on all those machines. Thanks for my free room I paid with all the money I left. I even left a tip for my maid I had the last two days.

It would be nicer if pool was indoor and a kids fun play area for family

Beautiful place, feels almost like vegas. Clean rooms

Great casino. Totally different than most other casinos you visit (Vegas and such). These tables do not play with physical dice or roulette balls. Instead, they play using cards and computerized readers that tell what number would have rolled. Plus, you pay an ante for each hand dealt... so for a $5 minimum roulette table you'll pay $6 to play. For a $5 minimum black jack table you'll pay $5.50 to play.

*Update 10/01/2018*
Oklahoma laws have changed (since Aug 1st, 2018) and all tables now use a moving object. This means roulette now uses the ball and wheel and craps table uses rolling dice. This is a total game-changer. Rating changed from 4-stars to 5-stars!

This place is hugh. At this venue in Thackerville, I've seen Christina Aguilera, Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, Al Green, Patti LaBelle, Earth, Wind and Fire, Reba McIntyre and more. Try the buffet.

Travel different country's without leaving the building

Place is awesome. I've been in several casinos but this is the biggest one I've ever been in

My friend had a comped room. The room is very nice. The restaurants are wonderful. All the employees have been helpful and friendly.

I'm just not lucky. AC is always blowing cold, the restrooms are well managed, employees are nice when you're polite with them, and all the free soda/coffee your kidneys can handle. I always try to drink my weight in sodas to compensate for the amount of money I lose each time I visit but always fail. It's the closest casino to DFW, so not much other choice. Never tried golfing or stayed at their hotels. Wish the restaurants were 24/7 though.

Got there had fun,polite staff and a little exercise cuz the building is so biglol

They did good with the temperature screening and ensuring everyone has a face covering. Something all businesses should adopt.

UPDATE:
However during pandemic folks walking around with mask hanging off their ears or below their chins smoking and drinking while walking around defeats the entire purpose of safety!

Casinos should enforce patrons remain at the slot machines while they smoke or drink then if you get up to walk around they Must have mask covering Both nose amd mouth!! Walking around mingling or strolling by other folks who are in compliance are at greater risk when the non compliant folks do as they please. I'm fine with allowing the smoking and drinking BUT enforce patrons to sit down while they do this and not walk around coughing or spewing their germs all over everyone else!

NO PHYSICAL Distancing either folks sit next to you or stand and play slots, since all themachines are still on. Again defeats the safety precautions!!

This review was before the covid pamdemic!!
We got to Winstar early 1 pm and parking lot was pretty empty, but when we left at 9 PM it was packed. Hubby and I played for almost 7 hrs, played alot, and came home with $100 more than we took, so overall great because we didnt lose and leave our money lol, which happens almost always when you visit any casino.
Bring very comfy shoes because you do alot of walking. The cigarette smell is very strong. Winstar really should invest in better ventilation especially because their employees work there daily, and I'm sure many like myself hate smelling like smoke or have my hair smell the next day.

IHOP serves great philly steak sandwiches and bacon cheese burgers.

Great variety of amazing colorful slot machines, loved the Ellen DeGeneres slots, and all the wheel of fortunes slots.

Lots of machines for every taste, old slots, new slots and exciting brand new themed slots. We enjoyed out time at Winstar even though we were dead tired after walking around so many hours and playing but we will definitely be back soon!!

It was ok the need more waitresses I was there 5 hours and was never asked if I wanted a drink. They need better ventilation for the smoking or think about making a smoke free room because I would come more often but the heavy smoking is horrible

Very large casino, I was impressed. The slots were fair, the blackjack tables were great also. No free drinks, alcohol, even if your playing. Very clean, well kept & just super busy. Ate at Toby Keith rest., thank you Sir! They have a American soldier meal, free for vets. The meal is large & plentiful, double meat cheeseburger.

Called front desk TWICE for towels never arrived thank goodness housekeeping was providing service near by. Every where you go everyone lacks basic customer service, clearly they dont want to work there. Sign are up for no smoking, but it seams security and supervisor dont see guest lighting up cigars and trays filled with ashes. Bar tops are dirty and trash in the floor. My family and I where looking for a nice getaway an thought Winstar would be a nice retreat, but clearly we where wrong. I will never return here and will advice my family and friends to do the same.

i'm not a gamblier but i love to relax my mine my body and maybe to win a little not to strick it rich but to have fun and enjoy

Service was terrible. Food was worse. Room overlooked the employee smoking area, people next to us were screaming and fighting, we had to move to another room and the bell hop refused to help us, I had move our luggage up ten floors alone. We got a room for three nights but left day two and drove home. I will never go back to Winstar it was awful!

Great place but I wish they didn't allow smoking inside the casino

Went there for the first time yesterday. Never again. Hit a BIG WIN on a slot. Won $50. Average slot hit was about $12 across three people. While there I didn t see anyone hit anything. By the way, the $50 win I had was WITH max bet. Then got charged $90 for buffet for three. Not bad price but we were first in line and the food was cold. Was this the leftovers from lunch? Overall bad experience. Avoid if you want to keep your money. Visit if you love $8 to $12 payouts after half of your $100 is already gone.

I played games that I haven't tried before and loved it.I came home a winner.

Very fun! The casino had so much to offer and was very clean! A big bonus was that the attendants kept the bathrooms clean even during the very busy times at night! However, for a place of this size their bathrooms are rather small and you might find yourself waiting a while depending on where you are in the casino.
My biggest complaint is the non-smoking area. I don t mind the smoking in the casino but after a while I need a break and some fresh air. The non-smoking area is far from everything else and feels like you re entering the morgue. There s no ambiance at all! Why make it a punishment to want to go to non-smoking.....it s apparently the time out area of WinStar.
Also, for such a grand place, the buffet is pretty disappointing. The best part is the salad bar. The food areas offer little variety and the food is less than mediocre. I expected better. Don t get excited about a good breakfast, because you won t get it there. The food was not appealing to look at, the temperature was either way too hot or too cold (room temp), the variety was terrible, and the desserts looked good but failed to deliver in taste. They should do much better, especially with the cost!
If you re buying alcoholic beverages, avoid the bar in the casino and just take the time to go to Toby Keith s. The casino makes terrible alcoholic beverages and they consist of more syrup than alcohol......so get ready for that tummy ache!
Overall, we had a great time playing slots and being with friends! I ll definitely go back, but I ll know more this time.

Oh, and DO NOT stay at the WinStar Inn!! That place is awful, poor service, and very unclean! I could have slept better in a box by the front door!

Entertainment great but event center is definitely not a good theatre venue.

Had a great time at the a Eddie Izzard show. Arrived early to gamble a little. I love roulette and was excited to see table and video roulette. Table minimums I think were $5 which is fine. However I spent my time at the $0.25 video roulette to teach my mom. we had a great time. only downside as with most casinos is the cigarette smoke. All my clothes went straight into the wash when I got home.

We go to Winstar about once or twice a year. We always have fun. I went in with $40 to play with. I played for 4 hours and cashed out $120. Not too bad for 4 hours of entertainment. I know people who have left with more but they take more to play with. It is good entertainment.

Nice clean sanitary friendly accommodating fun exciting

This place was fun and entertaining and the places to eat are pretty good. Something for everyone. Only thing is that they all close at 11 and if you get hungry.
