I had a two night stay and I loved it. I definitely will be going back. Staff is very friendly and I really enjoyed myself.

It is really the biggest casino, lots of machines, very easy to win, we had a big time

One of my favorite places to visit. Campground is well-maintained and quiet.

I enjoyed the casino, the food was good, had a great time with my girlfriend.

I had fun! It's kind of overwhelming at first, I wish we had explored more. Kinda smoky for my taste but it's a casino! You expect it a bit. Super friendly staff. I lost my phone and it was found within hours. The show was a little weird, the seats were super close row wise and I ended up smashing some people's toes trying to get out.

Nice place and great food options. Only giving it 4 stars as there were about 20 lady bugs in our room and only thing front desk said was it was normal for this season. They are harmless but just the thought of having bugs in room is a little weird.

Great casino! It really is an amazing place to see and visit. I wish there was better signage within the casino for easier navigation. Very clean for a smoking casino I was surprised by how clean smelling the air was.

Huge! Great themes. Very clean. Hotel is also beautiful and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food options inside suit a wide variety of tastes.

COVID policies were only enforced excellently in two areas: entrance to the hotel/casino and elevators. Despite stickers everywhere telling you to stay 6 ft away from each other, very few people followed these instructions. Know that other guests will brush by inches away from you, [several employees too], and that it will not be possible for you to keep 6 feet away no matter how hard you try. At the Terrace View Cafe, guests lined up behind me within a few inches. I actually had to tell people in the line to back up after waiting for 5 minutes for one of the 3 hostesses to step in and do something. No one else in that line that extended halfway out into the lobby was social distancing.

Otherwise, once you are inside the restaurant, COVID rules are followed/enforced. We ate at the buffer/El Fenix/Gran Terrace all of which were COVID safe once inside. Anywhere else is another story...

Casino has the biggest issues with social distancing. Games are not spread out at all, and the pathway is crowded with people trying to get by. Table games are limited to 3 people and shields are in place. Otherwise, there is no enforcement of COVID rules whatsoever. Games are not sanitized between uses. If you are concerned about COVID, you will not feel safe here, especially at the casino... :(

I had very high expectations for this casino/hotel... I would give it 4/5, but the COVID enforcement knocks it down to 2/5.

This is a nice place to try your luck.
CASINO: It is huge. Slots
usually give some play. There always seems to be new ones and certainly ones I haven't played yet.

FOOD: There are a great many choices including a nice buffet. Other than the Buffet, I did not find another that had much in the line of vegan offerings.

OTHER STUFF: Lots of other things there including hotel, shows, and more than adequate parking.

It's about an hour from Dallas but up to 1.5 hours depending on exact location.

Floor employees helped me find machines I like to play: Crazy Money and Dice Machine!! Although the High Roller Area should be marked better!!

Celebrate first born 29th birthday. Room and Casino

Attended a concert in the Global Event Center and it was awful. Doors opened late, security screening was a little too eager to check out a lady in a dress. Missed a quarter of the concert because of late opening and slow security screening. Seating was terrible. Seats so close together that even regular sized people were cheek to cheek. It was quite uncomfortable to be touching strangers in such a manner as we were forced to, just to sit in our seats. We could not both lean back in our seats as there was no shoulder room. It was an uncomfortable situation to be in. They clearly care more about selling the ticket than the guest experience. The performer was great and the audio/video was excellent given the space. Despite the terrible seating and the trouble getting in, we enjoyed the show. But we will never spend another dollar at this venue. Did not visit any restaurants or gamble, so cannot comment on those.

Not lucky all the time...but I keep trying.

Place is great. I spend more time at Vienna Bar watching sports than I do the slot machines. 10/10 will visit again. Table games have featured some enjoyable dealers to date

After winning and leaving with a few hundred I must say the experience was fantastic.

Nice clean big Casino. I never win anything but nice place to stay.

Clean place. But poker is closed. And machines don't pay out. Have tried slots many times and nothing. Just ate thousands. Poker was what kept me coming back and now that that is closed I see no reason to return. Wack. There can be 50 people crowded around table games but can't have 8 people at a poker table. Makes no sense.

My review is regarding the service my husband and I received when eating that the Gran Villa Buffet on Saturday 7/27.. While my husband was eating his meal meatballs in spaghetti sauce to be exact. He came across a long piece of stingy hair mixed in with the sauce. I immediately called the waitress over. He pointing out the hair to her. She advised us to leave it where it was so that she could take it to the supervisor that was on duty. Supervisor on duty approached our table after a few minutes to apologize to us. She stated that was the near end of the dish and that it had already been pulled and a new serving was out on the buffet. My husband stated that the hair appeared to be cooked in with the sauce. She then goes on to say that she is sorry to say that it could have just been a patrons hair that maybe shedded as they walked by and that she occasionally wipes up hair from the buffet when wiping down the bar . Needless to say that wasn t to comforting to be made aware of. She continued to ask if we were ok? Umm what do you think. Then asks if we lost our appetite? I stated yes I had. She apologized again. Never once offering to refund us our monies but kept asking are u ok . Not trying to seem like the people out to get a free meal I never asked for 1 either, but just stated to her that we were good. She apologized again and walked off. When the server came back around she asked how the situation was handled and if we were being refunded. When I told her no she seemed a bit shocked that weren t. Safe to say we won t be eating there again.

Have a fun evening celebrating my birthday. Lots of machines to play at. All staff had masks on along with guests. Pretty clean. I was impressed with Winstar.

We love this place. Great staff. Lots of slots. Good food choices. We were a little disappointed that they were so crowded. There s no way they were limited to 50%. We have been there 6 times before the Covid and it was not as crowded as last weekend.

Not family friendly. No arcade, movies, bowling, etc.

Just stopped in to play a few games while passing by. The casino was clean but smelled of smoke. Has every kind of slot machine you could imagine. I didn't interact with any staff but there were plenty around to help. I didn't have any problems or concerns.

My suite was awesome. Wish I would have won but maybe next time. Had a great time!

Smoke smoke smoke is the reason loses 1 stars . But a good space and big space - descent table entry price . Plenty of free complimentary stalls where you have rehydrate and rejuvenate with different flavors of hot beverages ( coffee etc I mean ) many many restaurants with in the environment . It s like a self sufficient ecosystem to keep the gamblers and enthusiasts with in the walls :) It works for you as long as you are not losing . Hahahahaha

Hadn't been in several years. They have really upgraded and improved the facilities, games and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome casino! Great buffet, great hotel, great entertainment, huge variety of games and food options! Very friendly staff and I actually won a bit! Of course I gave it back, but you don't play with money meant to go to your mortgage. Easy check in and we'll definitely be back!!!

This place is beautiful! All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the pool was so crowded couldn't find a place to sit!

Casino and hotel rooms are nice. Service leaves a lot to be desired. The food at the buffet is mediocre at best.

Everything was fine until I had a women sit next to me Not having her mask on because she was so busy smoking her chimney that I put on another mask beside the one I already had on. After that I noticed everyone smoking did not have their masks on, is that a privilege for smokers to do that. It's been said second hand smoke is worse for one to breath, now what is worse now because that smoke that someone is exhaling is someone inhaling. I understand there is an area for nonsmokers but we have the privilege to enjoy ourselves. Put the smokers in that area. How many may have been contaminated.

I guess it great because I am the guy that keeps the lights on, I have been 3 times and lost 3 times, it not Vegas

This casino could be a mildly fun place but we could not get past the trashy people and the dirty ash tray stink. We stayed in their RV park which was nice.

My mom and I went last weekend and we really enjoyed the non-smoking section of the casino. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We played all afternoon and night, though we didn't win super big, we did win! We will be back soon!

Fun place to go for a night out. Dont expect to win any money, rather go to have a good time. If you win it's a bonus.

If you like crowds, walking long distances, and slots that rarely pay, then this is the place for you.

My new favorite gambling place outside of Louisiana.. I like all the different sections. I didn t realize they had a movie theater in there with all the different restaurants. My new gambling spot.

Rooms are great, casino size is massive. We had the greatest time and can't wait to go back!

This casino is a slot machine paradise. With the many different sections each geared to a world destination you can t help but want to play and hear your machine add to the ambiance.

Very fun afternoon trip or hang out middle of the night, depending on mood. Just don't take in more money than you are willing to lose, however. This Casino is pretty tight on payouts. I typically go once or twice a year and leave pretty happy. Inside, there are several sit down eateries which includes Ihop and El Fenix. There is a hotel at the end of the casino should you have a few drinks or simply too tired to drive; set aside $150 if you plan to drink.

Payouts are awful. Rarely get even 10% of your spin on wins. And they wonder why casinos fail. I will not go back to play at winstar. Oh and after spending 300 or more dollars. Only earned 30 reward points. What a ripoff.

Third Thursday lobsters buffet is a must go for lobster lovers

Met a friend great visit and fun time had. Had lunch at Veno's. (Think the name) wonderful Italian food. WILL BE BACK.

people friendly hostesses were very polite and helpful. The food was delicious, all areas was clean. Hostess is playing with my grandchildren and talked with us. I felt like we were part of the family.and I had lots of fun.

This review is based on the WinStar's event space, not the casino activities. I've been to the "Global Event Center" a few times, since they have since great, big-name acts that often don't play other shows in the DFW area. If it weren't the only choice, I'd definitely avoid it. The space is really a big convention hall; it is in no way anything approaching a professional performance venue. This is reflected in every part of the experience - seating, parking, flow of crowds in and out of the hall are all poorly designed and poorly managed for a performance context.

Love it for adult. Too much of cigarett smoke inside

The casino is extremely huge! I actually was okay for the most part, even though I lost. The non-smoking bathroom was okay but most toilet seats had watersplash on them. I didn't like the beverage centers, they were small, crowded, and dirty. The drink machines were messy and there was nothing to wipe the cups off from the soda that spills over. If those were neat , clean, convenient, and open, I would rate the casino with 5 stars.

Hated it. Honestly seemed like the table games are rigged. The dealer kept getting 20 every single round. It was insane. The buffet was terrible. Non-smoking areas are completely open to smoking areas so... doesn't really make sense? It's all doused in smoke anyways... why not make it all smoking

I hated my entire experience lol not for me. All the smoke and loudness. I left felling nauseated and dizzy. Good for those used to it but as for me. Never again jaja

Great place if you like to gamble a bit. There are hundreds and hundreds of machines and all other gambling. But the best is just the size of it and all the different sections. Hotel and Inn are great ( Inn is pet friendly).everything is very clean and service is great.

First time ever there and I will be coming back I love this place

Well of course 5 stars. Walked out with more than we started with. But this place is crazy huge. Everything you can think of. Not sure we even saw all of it. Guess we'll have to come back.

Took my mom to Dwight Yoakum for her birthday and had a great time.

Well 3rd trip not a charm to say the least. We didnt go Valentine's was going to be too busy there so booked for this weekend. (21-23). Husband booked in advance special arrangements with host and gifts and a special room...sacrificing points. We didnt get the right room, or # of nights, no champaigne, no hot tub, bed was hard, didnt get wake up call, missed spa treatment and casino was a mad house, very crowded ppl running into you. Buffet...horrible. Our Dinner at Tobys was horrible..left hungry and had to wait 1 hr 1/2 to eat. Was in at 7 didnt seat until 9 30 pm. Hostess lost our text# and name. We pay for that..no re-reimbursements!

Randall at players club rude with me about my bonus play...acted as if i was lying about it...i had my mail offer....said I would have to wait until 10 pm host there and they would talk about it. Didnt happen.

Our favorite game had filled up box with money and it took host to get someone over there to take out $ so we could play?? We called service many times.
Rediculous! The casino lost money at that point! They obviosly were in NO hurry to accommodate us....SAD. Service techs were rude..."they called someone already" then walked away?? For what we spent for 2 days just feel we should have been treated better by Casino.

Casino needs wider walking space and room in aisles of the games. People hit your chairs while playing and stop in the aisles while your trying to ealk to different areas ....very frustrating.

Woman cleaning hit me with her cart and broom and didnt even apoligize. I told her "while Im playing go clean somewhere else" I was mad!

Just like Not knowing valet is free?? We didnt know and had to park far away and walk to hotel in misting rain and cold. Like our last trip...caused us to get sick. Romantic? Not ! Cut trip short and went home....again.

We went for a concert. The parking was easy and the casino layout is mostly easy to navigate. They do not offer free drinks for players as they do in Vegas. There are various restaurants and fast food places, but the selection could be better. Tons of games!

Always a fun visit. With the promos sent to us we were able to get 2 rooms for 2 nights at the hotel free (we did pay tax, of course).

Great place to place slot machines. This place is huge! It has 2 sections of non smoking and lots of restaurants to eat at along with a hotel.

Went to WinStar to see the Air Supply concert. I'm not real big on the cigarette smell in the casino but, the event room where the concert was held is very nice and smoke free. Free sodas were available. Security was had a fairly large presence but was not annoying. We ate at one of the many eating establishments and the food was good. I would go back anytime.
