Completely unhappy with all staff. A family member of mine has been having issues for over a year and a half now. The issues were critical. There is no reason this should have ever happened.

I went in simply to schedule my baby s one year check up. But they were actually able to get us an appointment for the same day! We killed an hour (and enjoyed the Wednesday lunch-time food trucks in the parking lot) and came back. They took us in right on time. And the tests and shots he needed afterwards were easily taken care of - little to no wait!

Also, Nurse Hallock will take good care of you if you ever have to visit the ER!

You can not reach any of the clinic by phone. The phone you receive from information disk just route back to the same main Medical Center phone. The command needs to take a look at their phone system. I just want to get the fix number to Internal Med Clinic A to fix important information for my provider. The Med Center is not you user family it patients.. Need to do a review to fix this problem.

I have always received EXCEPTIONAL care from my providers. I have always been treated with respect , dignity, and professionalism. I feel as though I am an active participant in my treatment and my concerns are always addressed. I have been receiving treatment at WPAFB Medical Center for 22 years and have always been pleased.

My dad has some sort of appointments every two weeks testing blood and things like that. I'm glad they are taking good care of him, but they tend to brush off things as well like my dad telling them he has the itchy skin every night, and trouble falling asleep. They just keep on giving him medication. I think he is on about 15 different ones now.

I've been going to WPMC for 17 years now. The staff for the most part are very professional and polite. Although, the ER staff (particularly the receptionist) are always very short with people and not very friendly, but if I worked in an ER for years, I'd probably hate my job, too. Both my sisters have PCOS. Their doctors (two different doctors) didn't diagnose them for years because "woman problems are supposed to be painful." Yeah...cramping does hurt, but bursting cysts on your ovaries sounds a bit more painful. The dental staff are very good! Same with the optometry staff. All staff take mental health very seriously, which is very helpful since military life isn't easy. Overall, this is a great hospital.

Think the personnel and staff are competent, caring and professional. Do seem to have problem issue with communication sharing. One nurse or staff members ideas, thoughts or actions taken are not shared across the group. One doctor or nurse says one thing, however the next nurse or doctor didn't know about it. You have to tell the exact same information to every person you speak with and hope that they all are seeing the same problem or issue of why you are there.

I've been seen at 9 different med facilities over my 22 years. First time I feel compelled to leave a review. Shitiest MTF I've ever had to work with. The only reason I give them the two stars: pharmacy well stocked/staffed, and in some cases you can get referrals to excellent facilities in the area.

my girlfriend has been having gallbladder problems for close to the last year. shes been in the emergency room because of those problems on multiple occasions, so they almost certainly know that its her gallbladder. instead of getting the problems dealt with though, they're having her wait for over a MONTH, for an endoscopy (which shes already had one of for the issues). this hospital has been so unhelpful that, honestly, we arent even going to attempting to get it dealt with here anymore. I would rate zero stars at this point, if possible, but it isn't.

Well , to begin I was trying to set up an appointment to have an MRI done for my knee kept Calling trying to make an appointment they kept telling me they do not have my referral so I asked can I just bring you my referral since I have it , and they said no !! . so again two weeks have went by still no appointment still in pain still no referral . Well, I finally had the MRI done so then I had to go back to Wright Patt for a visit with an orthopedic surgeon. To start off with the gentleman at the desk gave me wrong directions and secondly when I finally got to orthopedics the guy behind the desk was very rude and then told me I had to go to x-ray. I didn t know where x-ray was so he did tell me how to get there very rudely. got to x-ray the lady was very sweet . So When I got back to orthopedics I walk into the room AND the first thing I hear from one of the two guys behind the desk was a reply( she s back) . The first guy that was very rude to me just asked if I filled out the paper so I said yes and I handed it to him then he gives me a real snarly remark( thanks ). The doctor that I end up seeing was nice but I don t think I will go back to Wright Patt I had to miss a days work and drive over an hour because I live approximately 55 miles away from Wright Patt and since they have a right to first refusal this is what I have to put up with I know the facility is not trying to make money it s just trying to provide A service. I have to spend all day to go to a doctor and get treated this way I rather pay out of pocket and not miss work so I really don t like Wright Patt and I think they need to do something to change their service and the workers attitudes.

I retired from the AF in 1992, my wife and I use the Med center for everything and are very happy with most everything. A glitch now and then but you get that anyplace,. I had total knee replacement two years ago and Dr, Wild was fantastic. On behalf of my wife and I, THANK YOU WRIGHT-PATTERSON MED CENTER.

This is a horribly run operator ion from an active duty patient s perspective. The appointment lines never work. Anytime I try to call and make an appointment or reach anybody else such as the referral office the line just goes dead. I ve got two referrals in the system for medical issues that I m concerned about and no way to make appointments for them. It s always been like this. Do I have to show up at the emergency room to get something looked at?

Doctor John Steele (WPAFB), worst person ever. After misleading & convincing my parents into thinking my mother required surgery...he then also didn't have the decency to suggest that they may want a 2nd and 3rd opinion. He then goes on to botch and screw up the surgery, transforming my mother from a strong, intelligent, active, virile, powerful & independent woman into a small fraction of what she once was and now she requires 24 hours of round the clock incredibly beyond the usual type of supervision. My father has had to retire early and currently spends his every waking moment caring for her because of John Steele. We haven't even received so much as an apology from this sorry excuse for a doctor.

Trying to complete our overseas screening has been a pain!! People writing wrong numbers and I keep getting the run around about paperwork that I should've had back by now. This is the closest base to us in order to complete these nonsense screenings to go overseas. We have primary doctors in town but nope unfortunately the branch my husband is currently in is adamant about us having to be screened on a military installation. We have to drive an hour and 20 minutes both ways to go there and we have children to travel with so needless to say I hope this is my husband's ONLY overseas tour in his career. #frustrated

The Air Force has taken care of us especially my wife over the past 50 years. The service and dedicated staff are next to none. Especially the Wright Patterson staff over the 32 years. We Salute you all.

While the medical staff are pretty great, (although, it's hard to be seen by a "real" doctor--usually a PA or NP) it's absolutely ridiculous that the pharmacy hours are so limited. They need to be open later and they need to be open until at least noon on Saturdays. Also, they KICK YOU OUT OF THE LOBBY if you're there at 5:00, even if you've been in there waiting an hour. They really DO NOT care about their patients. Additionally, the referral process could use some work. But, again, having said all that, the actual medical personnel (doctors, surgeons and nurses) that I've dealt with and been treated by have been pretty great.
