I recently went to the Ducati Roma dealership of the Foro Italico, as I was interested in buying a used Ducati Scrambler. The spectacle that presents itself to me is nothing short of depressing: the bikes piled side by side under a tarpaulin, full of dust and cobwebs. I am aware that there has been the lockdown that in fact has also paralyzed the dealerships, but giving a wash to the bikes, once the block has been finished, on display what did it cost? Bikes that then squeeze, despite being used, there were in fact many Mutistrada at over 10,000 euros, with very few years of life, but full of cobwebs. Question how do you think a potential customer can become passionate about a historical brand, if you then treat your used car?
I wanted to test the driving position and then I entered the dealership, put on the mandatory mask and tried the driving position. Will I buy it? I don't know, but I will certainly turn to either a private individual or a retailer, with the certainty that the bike will have been kept impeccably: without dust and without cobwebs. Ducati wishes, try again because that's not the case ..

Total cost about 800 with 3 days of replacement motorcycle rental. I am given the dirty bike despite having expressly requested the washing which was included in the invoice as a gift. I wait 10 minutes after an hour and more, necessary because the bike was not ready, the bike arrives as dirty as I left it. To my complaints the foreman assures me that it has been washed in front of him and it is so dirty because they did not use aggressive solvents. I felt teased and to avoid discussions I thanked and left. Unfortunately, the reputation of large companies is in the hands of very superficial people.

Very nice seller before buying the bike, as soon as I took the money off. I was told that in 5 days I would have the bike, it was delivered to me two weeks after my repeated calls without letting me know anything. I was told that with 900.00EURO they would put me on the touring pack with the discounts on buying the bike. only after taking the bike did I notice that only the side cases for that amount were marked on the contract. 900EURO ONLY SIDE CASES !! That list does not even reach that figure. Not to mention the invoice for a wrong amount. The bike delivered in 3 minutes in a hurry not even the ducati shirt was given to me, in short, a real disappointment. NEVER MORE DUCATI ROME !!!

In July 2018 I purchased a used Monster 1200 S sold officially by the dealership with a 12-month warranty. The first problems started as soon as the sale ended. In fact, despite the delivery of the bike had been planned well in advance, the original accessories supplied with the bike seemed to be missing. Only after an abundant hour of waiting in the suffocating heat (the workshop waiting room does not exist, and it is made up of a small box with a box and a small area where customers can wait standing) these are were found and delivered, along with a frugal and superficial presentation of the bike in question, in which the operator clearly had not "deepened" the vehicle in question, proving to be completely ignorant of the accessories fitted by the old owner. Another factor to consider is how montasse motion a drain with third-party allocated a "akrapovic sticker" well applied. A careful analysis occurred after the sale, I realized how such discharge was not a real akrapovic, but simply a Roads Italy applied with an adhesive. Not having researched before the purchase research to make sure of every detail of the bike, I could not do anything unless done. Obviously the dealership has not advanced the minimum will to repay or the like. It should be noted however that same interfacing me with the only official Ducati dealership in Rome, and I thought to feel protected. Although the bike was sold as a tagliandata and revised, only 1 month after delivery and by pure chance, I realized that the bike was actually WITHOUT REVIEW, and that it had expired in January 2018 (7 months before my purchase). It should be noted that the booklet came into my possession 7 days after the actual delivery of the vehicle, and that in that period of time I had been provided with a replacement document without the section concerning the revisions made. From this it is clear that for the first week I had no way of noticing that I was without revision.
After this discovery and immediate revision carried out at a workshop near my home, I contacted the concessionaire, who with a careful barrel-discharge and subsequent promises of "contacts after having studied the matter in depth", covered up everything with a meager reimbursement of the cost revision supported, granted at the moment in which they would be carried out any work to the medium. It should be noted that the same Ducati headquarters has no interest in this issue, and despite repeated contacts by e-mail and telephone, I have never received even 2 lines of apology.
A few days ago the bike suddenly didn't start. Telephone to the dealer, which proposes the withdrawal of the vehicle after 2 days. Obviously not satisfied with this waiting in the middle of summer, instead I use the free roadside assistance insurance, which in a few hours arrives and delivers the motorcycle to the workshop (still under full guarantee having been 9 months from the date of purchase). I am informed by telephone that this problem seems to be common with satellite anti-theft systems (I had fitted one with insurance), and that it will be necessary to pay "a little something", not being a completely passable problem. After 2 days I go to pick it up, and after an hour of waiting in the scorching heat, I am presented with a bill of 450 (battery, voltage regulator and rear brake pads). From "a little something" we arrived at full price (inhuman) with labor from formula 1 mechanics. It should be noted that the tablets were already worn out at the time of sale (in 3,000 km they are certainly not destroyed), despite the bike being "guaranteed" but not "approved ducats" (which of course subtlety sellers have not stressed, I realized I three days ago). That said my father with making diplomatic paid, but it is clear that they have lost 2 customers. The Ducati bikes are splendid, but it's not worth it.

Ducati Roma, both this seat and that of Gregorio VII, are a direct offshoot of Ducati Bologna.
More than a motorcycle shop, this is almost an atelier, where motorcycles are not crowded together at all, thus allowing a complete view of every detail.
In the shop there are also ducati clothing collections, in addition to the spare parts area and the large workshop.
The sales staff, as well as the administrative one, is courteous is available.
Finally, there is ample parking for both motorcycles and cars.

It is a beautiful dealer, motivated staff polite and prepared. I personally knew the mechanics of the workshop for a recall of Ducati on my Multistrada, I was favorably impressed, they immediately made the intervention and at no cost. Five stars for sure!
