Awsome place you can bring in your own food and drinks. They have picnic tables and a small grass area with a playground for the kids near the petting barn animals. You can also bring your own stroller, but they do rent some if you forget yours. The BBQ restaurant inside is pretty good. My kiddo loved it his favorite part was feeding the giraffes.

Love this zoo. So much to see. Used to take my kids there and now take my grandkids. The zoo has really grown over the years. It's a little on the pricey side but that's how they add on. Aquarium is outstanding. Restaurant is good food too. There are several areas showcasing certain animals. Kangaroos are great. Can feed the giraffes. We stay all day. Easy to get around but a lot of area to cover. Well maintained.

I will admit that this place was prettier than I expected, but I still would not go again. I just don't like the fact that they lost their accreditation. The enclosures are small and don't seem to have as much enrichment as the animals should have. I was disappointed in the lack of Keepers and volunteers. Because I hardly saw any and when I go to a place that is supposed to be educational about conservation animals. I want to have people there to educate us. I was also very disappointed in the lack of not only trash cans but zero recycle bins, especially after going to the sea lion show that discussed that we should be recycling. I just hold the Phoenix Zoo in such high regard that this place is such a disappointment... But has so much potential.
Over priced, but I guess this is what AZ considers a theme park, lol Didn't have any food here so I can't comment on that. I think bigger animals would be nice to see here, but we still had a nice time.

We have been members of the zoo for a few years. Our favorite is the Lorikeet feeding. We have to do that every time.
This is a wonderful and big zoo! Lots to see and do, my only complaint is that it's pretty expensive and when you get inside you have to pay again for the rides.

I loved this zoo! In one of the aquariums they have a restaurant (I forgot the name) you can pet sting rays and see many animals on the sky ride. There even is bird feeding, ducks, and giraffe through out the park. They have many rides but some are closed! They have cafes around the park and vending machines but some don t work.The animals are very adorable! The restaurant s view outside has flamingos which is very nice and especially the food! The monkeys were very funny running around their homes. Somewhere around the zoo is a walk-in habitat with birds but they are in little gated so your safe in there! I mostly enjoyed the restaurant and it s food! I suggest going here if you want to have fun with family and friends! Even during coronavirus and keeping your mask off outside but not inside to breath a little! It s your choice if you want it on or off but you have to wear it inside.
Great private zoo. We were there all day and never had down time. They have added a lot to it. Wonderful family time.

We always enjoy going to a Wildlife World Zoo. There are so many animals to look at I believe there's close to 6000 plus there's the aquarium where you can touch the Stingrays feed giraffes. They have little rides for kids they have a train to take tours on. There's so much to do that you definitely need to plan for the entire day. The really cool thing about it is how close you can get to the animals. They're not locked behind glass and bars. Plus they have a baby nursery where you can go and look at new babies.
Great little zoo. It's great that they are expanding. We always have a good time when we visit.

Although the entry ticket is pricey, this place has a great variety of animals. Many animals are in animal friendly habitats, and remain easy to view. Lots of shade too. We were there on a 100 degree day, but the amount of shade makes it pleasant.
Somewhat reasonable, me and my family spent 96$ for 3 people and the baby was under 2 so he was free. Lots of walking involved, was alot to see which was nice. You can touch the sting rays and star fish which is really neet. Lots of animals to see, the food is horrible and badly priced but its to be expected. Free parking, and free ice. You can feed the garafs, birds, stingrays, and many other animals, good size petting zoo. Animals seem well taken care of for a zoo, we enjoyed it and so did the baby, probably will come back again in the future.
PARENTS BEWARE: This place is a money-trap. After paying an arm and a leg for addmission, you're bombarded with other attractions which cost more money. It's not fun to tell your kids "no" when they see everyone else having fun on the rides.
Also, WOW. Such sad living conditions for these animals. The big cats and the black bears were the worst. Both exhibits were pathetic excuses for suitable living conditions. The animals look depressed and pace constantly.
An amazing place to visit. Make sure to allow ample timing. We were here 4.5 hours and still had to rush at the end. The sea lion show is awesome and the trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely amazed at this place! We had a great experience especially after we just wasted our money at the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale. If you are reading this and haven't been here and are trying to decide whether to go here or the Odysea place go here!!!! You get more than your monies worth! Great experience and I will give you a 5 star rating once you get rid of the smokers....we encountered multiple disgusting smoking people along the walkways...this is a family place, not a bar!
Yes it is expensive but at the end of the day worth it. Spent 6 hours there and was rushing somewhat to get it all in. Plan to spend all day.

Was busy but of course it was a Saturday. Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Animals are so close its so cool.

All the food places were closed. But was totally worth the extra money. If I had to choose between the Phoenix Zoo or the Wildlife World Zoo. I would go to the Wildlife World Zoo. Yes, it is more expensive. But you are able to see a wide variety of animals and it doesn't feel like you are going to run into people. It was educational and relaxing.
We were there two years ago then again yesterday.... Disappointing.... .. how it's gone down hill... Apparently they just don't have enough staff to maintain the property...The bathrooms... The eating areas... Trash all around... Bathrooms FILTHY.. no soap to wash your hands, . The smells in the eating areas are absurdly gross... Cleanliness all around is a MINUS 5. Staff iS NOT friendly... Except the ones presenting the little shows. The marine life are nice exhibits other then that... VERY DISAPPOINTING. and to pay for all extras , train rides, coasters, sky ride on and on IS ABSURD. I understand u have to take care of the animals.... But clearly your not maintaining your Park. HUGE HUGE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT versee two years ago... I will NO LONGER bring my groups of 10-20 any more.
All the rides were extra costs. Lots of deferred maintenance in the park.

Seems to be mostly birds, so many double and triple exhibits for birds. Great people working there, tram is so worth it!

Best zoo in Arizona! Not too crowded and you can actually get close to the animals unlike at Phoenix zoo. I think it has the most to offer out of any zoo in the area. Lots of fun for the family!

Best kids attraction in the West Valley! Open every single day and has indoor and outdoor exhibits throughout the park so you really can go despite the crazy temperatures in AZ.
Great place to take the kids. There is wide variety of animals, rides, play ground, and petting zoo. Bring cash because none of the rides or cafe's accept card payment. There are atms but the charge is $2 and your bank's fee as well. My 5 year old had an excellent time.

Greatest zoo in AZ. "Retirement home" for animals too old for conventional zoos. Enclosures are clean and more natural, animals are not stressed like at most conventional zoos-no repetitive confinement behavior. Staff stays in the background but keeps a close eye on the animals. Breeding program for endangered species is neat, nice flat walking surfaces, get up close and personal with very unique animals. Great experience always, aquarium is stunning! Feed the giraffes!

Best Zoo in Arizona! Sorry Phoenix Zoo your Christmas lights are great but Wildlife World Zoo has 6 miles of animals and rides for kids to keep them entertained. The best part is the sky ride that gives you a birds eye view of the animals and you can only see some animals if you ride it. The sky ride isn't as spectacular as the one at San Diego Zoo but it's still a lot fun. Plus you have a log flume ride that takes you in the aquarium. There is an cool little train ride that takes you through the animal enclosures and a whole safari section we haven't even seen yet this place is so big. Like I said before, best zoo in Arizona!
My son and I had a great time and it took a good part of the day to get to all the area's. I personally will be going back as my son loves it and so do I
Very large park with quite an array of very well taken care of animals. We spent 4 hours and only hit maybe 2/3 of the whole park, and that was without taking in any of the shows or rides. You could spend all day here and not do everything.
Looks like a couple more exhibits are being added in Spring 2020, so we'll definitely be back.
We love coming to this zoo, it by far the best and my special needs son absolutely loves the aquarium building so it's a win-win for everybody. They are a little pricier than most zoos unfortunately but they do have a lot of activities. And Dillon's is amazing to eat at for lunch

Great zoo, with a ton to see and the ability to get closer to the animals than I am used to. A little out of the way, but worth a trip!
