Friendly employees, nice ambience. Acoustics a little harsh for a loud band. Should be excellent for a more mellow group. I hope to go again now that I know how nice it can be.

Beautiful venue! I had an amazing time. The staffing was amazing. The bathroom was well maintained. I definitely would recommend this place to all. 10 out of 10 my favorite venue in Philadelphia area.

A gem for Philly. WXPN does such a wealth of service to the music scene here, and a lot of emerging artists and local talent perform at the World Cafe Live. Free At Noons are a staple as well - you'll get a concert that you would normally pay $25 for FREE. The upstairs stage also serves food, and they have good happy hour specials. Check out the free jazz on Monday, as it's a great time to go for happy hour

Fantastic drinks, food, and music. The staff is amazing too.

Decent venue for music. The layout in the "upstairs" makes it difficult to get close unless you make dinner reservations. Even with that, the room is long and narrow with standers in the front. And their Vegan food is fried in the same oil as the chicken. Menu was relatively limited.

Great venue to watch a show! Parking was manageable. Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Loved the acoustics.

Always a great time. I come mostly for WXPN free at noon series and appreciate all xpn offers to its members. Occasionally also attend concerts here. Prefer to take train to 30th Street Station because parking hard to find. Great restaurants all around for post concert too. Great musicians play here & diverse as well

Great music venue in downtown Philly. They have 2 levels, so there are usually 2 shows going on at the same time. Upstairs you can order food and drinks, downstairs it's just drinks.

Nice clean place for live shows. Comfortable dinning area with a nice view of the stage. Mediocre mixed drinks but the beer is good.

Great place to hear emerging bands as well as some old stuff. A wonderful mix.

The show was excellent..but didn't appreciate the bank of chairs in front of the tables.

We had standing only tickets, so I was a bit tired standing after a few hours. But the venue is great. Not too big, sound was perfect, and the Guinness was poured just right. Even if it was from a can.

Jesse Gimbel's band should have headlined Thursday night. The food was good and the staff is so nice. I was blown away by the atmosphere. What a great venue!

Dinner and service upstairs were great. The sound system upstairs was way too loud for the band that was playing. The sound system and band playing downstairs were perfect.

I was invited by friends to see a band in the upstairs venue. Great sound system, friendly attentive staff, comfortable atmosphere and anywhere in the room has a great view of the stage. (I saw downstairs set up with tables for dinner and live music... looks great)

Parking available very close by. I'll be back.

I ve been attending shows at World Cafe Live for 12 years and have not once been disappointed with the food, service, or performance quality. Yes, the menu is a tad pricey but the experience and whoever you are there to see perform makes it all the more worthwhile. I personally prefer the upstairs performance space as it has ample seating, a bar, table service, and allows for more intimate performances. I also have seen many bands and artists perform in the downstairs space and have no complaints, though more often than not it is standing room only depending on the featured act. Reserved seating/table service is available downstairs for an additional charge when purchasing tickets. Although World Cafe Live is not completely affiliated with WXPN, the stations hosts many events there and even has their studios in the same building, so I hope this partnership lasts for many more years!

Good beer selection, avid entertainment and delicious vegan buffalo wings.. I was shocked!

This is a great live music venue for big and small events.

The spot was nice, nice size crowd, and the bartenders were punctual. I would go again.

One of my FAVORITE music venues!!! They have two different spots (upstairs and downstairs), both equally awesome. They usually get artists that aren't quite as famous, but it leads to a much more intimate show with some awesome people. Their food is delicious too (especially the mushroom risotto). I am probably getting married here because I love it so much
