A cozy theater and a valuable resource for developing plays.
Loved it. Super small venue. You are practically in the action with the actors. I loved it. And BTW great quality show and premiers.
Great Sokolow dance program. Great space. Great people.
I have seen so many shows there, both put on by the theater company itself as well as outside production companies, and it's been amazing. There is such good theatre there! On Sundays they have a regular reading series that's free to the public as well as periodic 3-Day readings that are free.
Once a year they have a Shakespeare festival (on the Bard's bday week) of scenes and sonnets that is wonderful.
The space itself is great and handicap accessible.
This is a wonderful theater company. It is a center of entertainment for my wife and me. We have seen many fine productions her as well as three day productions. After seeing a great many Sundsy readings I have abandoned my old objections to readings. They are important.
Very nice for a school theater! Cozy and comfortable, and every seat is a good seat.
The 4th floor of this building is strangely configured, but once you know the way around, it's ok. Needs a moderate amount of TLC and some vacuuming
Small off-off space on the 3rd floor (it's got an elevator). Home of Workshop Theater and they rent it to other indie companies. Not the greatest sightlines, but comfortable enough.
Thought provoking plays in a small black box theater. Some readings have a audience critique session afterwards. Bargain prices.
It is a great place to learn acting and show your prowess
