Went here for lunch and had the beef Tatar and the lamb loin, really comfortable atmosphere and superb food, can not fault it one bit , would definitely recommend
Ate here for Sunday lunch, we couldn't fault it. The service was at excellent. The beef was cooked to perfection. How wonderful to find amazing food without the stuffiness. We will definitely be returning.
Went to 263 for my birthday dinner and had the tasting menu, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was spectacular and the service was flawless and I could not fault it in anyway. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to treat themselves for a special occasion.
Do be careful if you want to go with your family. Extremely limited choice and even with that, one out of four main courses became unavailable after ordering. Spoilt our evening. Note to myself and friends : Not returning!
Been here twice now. Once for the Al a Carte and once for the Tasting menu. Both were excellent quality. The staff are very good and attentive. Would recommend taking the wine option with the tasting menu, which I excellent too!
Great food. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which was excellent. Nico our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
This is a lovely restaurant in the middle of preston, the food was brilliantly cooked and presented The wines where picked by the course choice and where also as good
We had an excellent meal here last night. They have not lost the plot to hope to achieve a star at some point. All I can say is that we are lucky to have this in Preston so it would be great if poeple made an effort to support them. We also stayed in the hotel which was very good as well.
I swear, there is absolutely no other restaurant in Preston that can offer any thing near the food that you can eat at 263 Restaurant.
I had the taster menu and from beginning to end every mouth full from every dish that was placed in front of me was sublime.
It's hard to pick a single dish that stood out as being better than the one previous. The tar tar was heavenly, the lamb loin succulent and I wouldn't ever have thought that a Lancashire cheese and onion tart would be such a taste sensation on the palette.
The rice pudding was creamy but not stodgy and its accompanying apple sorbet intense with zingy fresh apples.
Listen at me!!! Honestly Preston has been crying out for something like this and I am willing 263 to succeed. I had started to worry when Prestonian's voted Wetherspoon's and Nando's as two of the top restaurants in Preston. I mean FFS seriously???
Let's show this City of ours that we too can offer fine dining at its best and take the trip that is 263 and prove there's more to dining in Preston than slapping a pie in a barm cake.
We had a wonderful evening at 263. It was lovely to meet Charlie the chef, who is clearly passionate about his food created from locally sourced ingredients. We went for the tasting menu and couldn t fault any of the dishes. Beautiful plates with amazing flavours. We also need to give a mention to Niko who had done an excellent job with the wine pairing. His passion and knowledge created a truly memorable evening. Can t wait to return.
