Do your refund on the ird website yourself. Straight forward and fairly easy in ird website but you need to sign in first. Don't use these organizations who take a big percentage of your refund if you are entitled to one. Do it yourself and no commission or fee will be changed to you. Instead of money on your mind you will have money in your bank account.
So slow. When I log on quick chat, I was literally waiting for 11 minutes before she even acknowledged me(and no this wasn t because there was a queue). It said I was 1st in line and she had even said hi then no response after that. Not great service to be honest.
Takes a big chunk of refund as well.

I am not happy with your advert on tv. People are trying to get over the hating fat people and/or ginger haired people. From TV to comic books mean, lazy people are portrayed overweight and usually have ginger hair.

this is a borderline SCAM!!! they take 20% (or near enough) of your return so if you're expecting a big one stay well clear of these guys.
Be prepared to pay "tax" on your tax return. Went back to IRD instead - At least you get your full amount back - And it really IS NOT that hard to do your tax return yourself. Login, or register with your IRD number - Head over to request a PTS for the year ended - and that is all you have to do. Once you request it, IRD will do the rest. Just make sure you choose how you would like to be paid i.e. cheque in the mail or add your bank details. Voila! Too many companies capitalise on your laziness - SAVE YOUR MONEY - It is not that hard people!!!
Came into office to sign up, and was ignored (not even a smile or nod of head for acknowledgment ), for over 15 minutes. Then they discussed a problem client for 5 minutes afterwards in front of me within hearing distance, with still no acknowledgment.
Eventually, the front desk customer service agent told me I would find out the amount of my refund the next day. Instead I got an automated email back letting me know it will take a week to find out. not her fault but her training, and her supervisors need to do more training with how to act in front of customers, so this experience doesn't happen to anyone else.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend this business or service on all accounts. Reiterating what all others have said below, JUST DO IT ON YOUR OWN! I was shocked my the complete lack of transparency, acceptance and professionality as experienced with WooHoo Tax. IF you do follow through with their services, for whatever reason, ASK QUESTIONS FIRST, as it is incredibly easy to be blind-sided by service charges and explanation of details behind the service in it of itself.
