Staff very friendly and helpful. Check in process was smooth and we'll explained. When I heard summer camp, this is not what I was expecting...more like summer week at a resort!

Excellent staff, equipment is always new, knowledgeable staff, and great coaches facility. Love it at woodward.
Best time ever and i will go back anytime for even just a second.
Haven t been their yet but as I can see everyone is right about the staff #wishIcangotowoodward
my camp experience was quite great I loved it so much and i had a lot of fun. The food was great and the way the camp is run id so amazing the coaches are all about whats best for YOU most of my cheer coaches are not like that. The only thing that brings down my rating is my cabin manager person was quite a bummer. She told everyone in my cabin that we couldn't set alarms. she would get ready very quite and right before heading out the door at 8:55 she would scream " 5 minutes till inspections everyone get up" And then slammed the door. She didnt even make sure everyone was awake before leaving which means i had to trust my cabin mates to wake me up i would have to through all my stuff in a bag and head down to the public restroom. i would rush to get ready before inspection was in my cabin i got a warning 2 days in a row for being in my cabin during the inspection. by the time i got ready it was mins from my manditory and i would have to run the cheer gym and miss breakfast almost everyday. Doing cheer on no food is hard and left me so tired. i just wanted to go to my cabin and lay down but then i would think my mom didnt through down 1000 dollars for me to sleep all day so continued to be active.it also upset me that my mom spent 1000 dollars and almost everything still cost money. on very few things were free such as the grills, rock wall, ropes course and kind of arts and craft if you were doing tie dye you had to buy a white shirt.
Beautiful! My 18 yr.old went for BMX camp and loved it!
I learnt to do a backflip here and everything and know have 400thousand subs
Screw Disneyland, THIS is the best place on earth!!!
My son attended two weeks. He loved it. The facilities are amazing and all the staff was nice. All the kids in his cabin were nice and he made some good friends. He will go back next year.
it is the best camp especially when i was in the woodward family photo
amazing, ave always wanted to go to/skate at woodward bc it looks incredible and ive watched like every season of the show, its crazy
My son had his first trip there this summer. 2nd day he rolled his ankle really bad and had to come home. The staff was super attentive to him as well as offered a full refund as it happened on basically the first full day. He will absolutely be back! Couldn't ask for a better staff and service!
my dream place i love to skatebored and might save up to come here i will do anything to go to that place,we are doing a assighnment in school right now for or dream vacation and i picked this place
Woodward is outstanding. This is my son s third year as a camper there and the first time he has had to see the medic. The staff at Woodward have been outstanding in taking care of my son and in communicating with me. I really cannot give high enough praise for the level of professionalism and caring that we have received from Woodward.
It was fun I am a cheerleader and the program is awesome!
Beautiful summer day in Woodward. Family making memories.
Counselers in the cabins often don't notice harassment and bullying. Instructors aren't helpful. other campers often have bad attitudes treat inexperienced skateboarders bad. Uncomfortable bedding. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend sending a child to Woodward.
This was my first year in 2019 and this is a big experience this was the best time in my life
DO NOT fly American!!!!!
They cancel their leg from Philadelphia to State College and are AWFUL about accommodating your stranded camper. USE another carrier! Their customer service is the worst that I have experienced in 50 years of air travel.
Just returned from the what year is it rollerblade weekend. It was a dream come true and just as magic as I remember when I attended as a camper 20 years ago. Such a great event and I can t wait for next year!
I am a parent ambassador. Meaning I've worked as a cabin mom the last two years. As a parent I love going there. It's an amazing location. Love being around my daughter and watching her have a lot of fun, make new friends, learn new skills and just be herself. The staff is super friendly. They are always willing A ready to make sure every child is having a good time. The food is good. The extra activities are amazing. Love love love Woodward. Can't wait to go back this summer again.
This is the first year my daughter attended Cheer camp at Woodward, PA. She had an absolute amazing time! She enjoyed EVERYTHING about it. She can t wait to come back. She wanted to do another week this summer! This will definitely be a yearly camp for her!
BEST TIME OF MY LIFE at the What Year Is It? Rollerblading event this past weekend. This was my third year in a row at Woodward and can't wait for next year's WYII event already. Thanks again for letting us have such a great weekend at your facility!!!
I'm going there next summer can't wait for the experience.
Happiest place on earth for the skateboarder, BMXer, and gymnastics in the family.
Wood ward is the best park ever could go back 10000000000000000000000000000000000 times
Absolutely the best skate park I've ever been too. So much to do for kids and adults of all ages and levels of talent.
I ve seen video on YouTube and this place looks awesome, I really want to visit this place.
The only problem I have is that I live in California by San Francisco and I really want to go, I tell my parents that I ll raise the money and I could go by my self but they won t still let me. Anybody got other ideas. I m not giving up
It seems like such a cool place for me to really progress my riding however its a shame that I am from England so I can't get to a Woodward camp because I don't have the money for the flight and the camp so I'm just hopeing that onedat they can open one in England
So I live in Greece and I am on the other side of the world ... I will never go there... It was my dream... That will never NEVER come true
It really is amazing i love it so much it s the only reason i can nollie treflip the 3 stair thanks so much
Never went here because i live in okc and i can never go there and brataley annie and haley went there from youtube
Woodward is THE action sports camp. So many courses, nice cabins and a beautiful setting.
World class skateboarding facility at really reasonable prices.
If I could ever go again definitely would I love this place and the staff are kind
Very nice place and beautiful country around it and my son Alex is working for them which makes it that much better
We took our grandkids to Woodward camp for scooter and skateboard. it looks like they're going to have a whole week's of scootering.
Would be nice if the owner (lady/owner's wife?)treated staff with respect and kindness. Also, she needs to learn food hygiene laws, wear gloves, etc!
Staff was nice, ramps were clean buildings were warm.....I wish each person had their own key for the barn though
I love this place! I make new friends and everyone is so kind.
I would love to go to this amazing camp it is a dream and I ve been dreaming of going there
Woodward is the best! I went to Woodward last year for gymnastics camp. It was great! The only bad parts about camp were the skaters we met at Moon Doughs and the bacon... I'm coming this summer as well and I'm so excited!!!
I've been going here every summer for the last 3 years and I love it so much :'))))))
Great place for weekend getaways when camp isn't going on. Especially during Penn state games. It's a huge rustic western style lodge with cozy accommodations.
My daughter absolutely loved it here! The staff and councilors were great! She made so many connections and friends! Thank you for making my daughter's experience so special!!
i think it's the best park in the world for bmx, can i repeat the feeling?
From word of mouth from skate shops and other skaters, I decided I wanted to stay at Woodward for a week over the summer. It was just about the longest week of my entire life. The people at the camp, and its environment, started out welcoming but slowly sank away as the week continued. The campers there, as a whole, were very judgemental and were prone to yell, scream and judge you for whichever activity you attended for. The counsellors, however passionate, had no real desire to support and/or assist you, and were clearly there for their own enjoyment. They didn't care if campers were being harassed, and they were usually high. THIS IS NOT A CAMP TO SEND A CHILD WHO WILL BE ATTENDING ALONE. I went for a second year with friends, and then it was much more enjoyable, but still, the consistent harassing and negative environment was the same. Recommended for skaters who are chill and prefer to learn on their own. Overall, an alright experience, but not worth the grand I had to work for to attend.
Best and biggest park ever ...there are awesome people to meet and skate with the obstacles are 100% ...*
I went there for cheerleading and I gained more skills and it was a lot of fun
My daughter attended camp here for her first away camp and first cheer camp experiance and loved it!! She was awarded camper of the week got to interact with famous cheer athletes and got to use state of the art equipment she would have never had a chance to encounter. For all these reasons I am soo greatful and pleased with this establishment. The reason i gave a 4 star and not a 5 is as follows: my camper hurt her knee there and as a RN I was less than thrilled with the fact that the trainers didnt seem to treat it effectively I had to call the camp and my child and inform them of what to do. They gave out oppertunities for 50% discounts and my daughter recieved one but they are only for that current summer at the end of the summer. When you have to travel and pick up your child it is crazy to think that for 50%(wich is still over $600) you could turn right around in a few weeks and do it all over again. It would be nice to be able to use it for the next summer. Also my daughter didnt really care for the cafe food and she really never got to eat lunch because it was always during her mandatory training time (she basically spent her spending money on the chicken tenders which she said was amazing). Lastley she was not to thrilled that some of the famous cheersleaders were less than friendly although the campers were encouraged to mingle and interact with them. Other than that it was a great experiance for her and she cant wait to return!!!
The best place in the world. Worth every single cent. If you are looking for a place to train in action sports. Rollerblading, gymnastics, bmx, scooters, skateboards and so much more to come. Just ask for Jan she is the BEST see you guys soon late October
My boy had an amazing time. Staff is awesome. Mama was not too worried when I got the call that he got hurt. They took good care of him. Definitely coming back. Thanks, Camp Woodward!
Really fun they do a lot of stuff and you can win free stuff
My daughter has attended gymnastics camp there for three years. Great camp, beautiful location, supportive staff, quality facilities and plenty to do when you aren t in the gym. The kids stay in cabins, which vary in size but include bunks, plenty of cubbies, bathrooms and yes....air conditioning. They have a canteen for snacks/gifts etc, cafeteria, areas for dance parties etc, horseback riding, a ninja course, ropes course, paddle boats and so much more. My daughters only complaint is the WiFi leaves something to be desired but as a parent that s a win in my book!!
