Everything about woodloch is great. They keep improving their services every year, and I couldn't recommend it enough. Every day is filled with tons of activities, and even if one of them doesn't suit you there is always the pool, hot tub, or lake.

The staff we dealt with were all very pleasant, the food was good. Alcoholic drinks were more expensive than I had anticipated- $5 for a light beer and $9 for a small glass of $12/mag wine. Otherwise, the setting is beautiful and my family enjoyed all the activities..

First time here and we had a great time. We were a group of 9 with 7 of our 9 being teenage girls. We were a little worried that the girls would be bored, but Woodloch really did a great job setting up daily activities for all age groups. Some winter favorites were the Woodloch Family Olympics, the go-carts and the snow tubing! Although the facility is great, what really stood out was the quality of the staff. Everyone I spoke with was extremely polite and geniune making you feel right at home. Every single staff member we encountered seemed to really enjoy their job and that speaks volumes on the way Woodloch is managed. Great job Woodloch. This may only be our first visit but it definitely won't be our last. We haven't even left yet but I am already looking forward to our next visit!!

16 years and counting for me and my family. First class everything at Woodloch. We wouldn't go anywhere else for a quality weekend stay. Look past the prices because you will not regret a visit.

Wonderful family resort. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Most things are inclusive which lends itself to a much more enjoyable family experience. For example go karts, archery, bumper boats, sail boats, kayaks etc all included. Great pool area and indoor pool area designed well for young children. Overall great place to vacation. Highly recommend.

It's an amazing place to be no matter the age group of the people your with or what you like. There is literally sometimes for everyone and the staff are amazing people who make the day that much better.

We had a great time. With that said I feal like it didn't live up to the hipe. I was expecting a lot more for a 1000$ a night. Again it was nice we had a great time. But it just seems pricey.

Off the beaten path...serene...Truly much more than I expected it to be! Since it's a very family place...I was prepared for it to be campy...loud but its quite beautiful and peaceful...There are a lot of activities for the family and kids and if you also want to just relax you can as well. I give it 4stars as the only thing I would of enjoyed was maybe one event geared more to adults..this way I don't have to experience everything with the family ALL THE TIME lol! We went during Christmas and they had a hayride...so much FUN!!! Definitely a Special place to spend Christmas at least once. All in all a Wonderul place to experience and visit and if I had children I would definitely visit again.

Woodloch was an extremely relaxing place to vacation with my family. We went with 2 other families and stayed in one of the Southwoods homes on the property. The home was extremely spacious and the privacy was great. The shuttle picked us up whenever we needed it and we were within 5 minutes away from everything. There was so much to do and everyone had a blast. We flew from Memphis, Tennessee and it was well worth the flight! We heard about Woodloch from a friend and am so glad we went. I would highly recommend it for any family in the country. One of the best parts was the owners all work at the property and make you feel like you are part of their family. A must do vacation!

Where to start? We used to come here almost every year in the Winter time back in 2007/2009'ish and mostly spent Christmas here.

There were shooting ranges, tubing, indoor arcades, bumber cars, bingo, family activities, and so much more. But best of all, the food was awesome and the staff are very friendly especially 'Spike' (I think that was his name). My brother loved Spike because he was funny and every day he had spiky hair.

Me, my brother, and my sister and probably spent hours tubing on the slopes. Sadly, it didn't snow that much so they used fake snow. But it was still amazing, the wind chill didn't stop us.

I recommend this Resort to anyone. You can't get an experience and family staff like them anywhere else.

Incredible staff, amazing facilities! Went here for a work offsite and the staff welcomed us with open arms the moment our shuttle pulled into the parking lot. The food was surprisingly delicious (tuna poke, yummy sandwiches, Asian inspired shrimp, cheese platter, an array of desserts incl French macarons). I m thoroughly impressed and so were the rest of my group. The entire staff was engaged, attentive (especially for our very thirsty team) and always smiling. Rooms were very generous , impeccably clean, very comfy beds. Would absolutely recommend this place 5 stars++ !

We absolutely love this place. We have been coming here for the past 9 years. What an amazing family tradition. There is something for everyone to do, young and old. We come in the summer, but I hear it's amazing in the winter too. Oh, and the FOOD It is simply the best. You are completely stuffed 3 times a day,and then some!!

Great resort especially if you enjoy golf. Scenic views from the houses. Some are placed throughout the course itself which was my favorite part. Outstanding food! The owners take meticulous care of the facilities and grounds.

It's a great place for all ages. There are activities like bumper cars and go cart tracks. There is a different activitie going on every day in the kids room. My family has been coming here for over 20 years and it's great. The food is amazing and everyone is friendly.

This was a great experience, I came here sponsored by Kingsborough Community College and the Student Ambassador Program. I must say the staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms in South Woods were great and fully equipped. Overall amazing experience.

We love it here. It's such a nice place to bring your family. Good for kids from toddler to 13/14. After that, I think they would have to bring a friend. Simple, enjoyable, relaxing, and great setting to have quality time with your family. Nothing fancy, just constantly good. Shows are great... if you like musicals. Go during the week on off season to save $$$.

The manager is the worst ever calls and gives a 5 minute notice on things instead of doing things legally she is very rude and uptight and I do not recommend living here as she likes to shut peoples water off without notice whenever she feels like she doesn t like you. The community is full of drug dealers and addicts. Stay away from this place

Great vacation for those that don't mind regimented schedules. The place was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and there were a ton of activities for young and old alike. They bend over backwards to accommodate anyone with food allergies. My only issue was the regimented meal times; you had to be seated within the window of 8:30-9:30 for breakfast, 12:30-1:00 for lunch, and 5:30-6:30 for dinner, or the dining room was closed.

Woodloch, a unique, lakeside resort that has something for all ages and all types of people. The natural inclination is that it is out in the woods and by a lake, so the only things to do will be nature related. However, there are a lot of activities and events more suited for not as outdoorsy people (plays, musical shows, horse racing event). Then you get to the meals; buffets, cookouts, nice sit down. Pretty much every type will be offered over your stay. Activities include rock climbing, biking, kayaking, water skiing, game shows, zip lining, golfing, boating, gun range, shuffle board, paintball, and I'm sure there's more too. We have stayed in both the in, as well as a house up the road. Each had its benefits and were really nice. The house was a bit far but had a shuttle that went back and forth. Staff has always been very friendly, helpful, and a good time to be around. Very pleasant stay and a lot of fun with my family. Bit a drive into the middle of nowhere, but good for a getaway from the craziness.

If you want to have an incredibly amazing, beautif...

If you want to have an incredibly amazing, beautiful, stress free, unique, semi (for us) destination wedding - Woodloch is the place. Any rave reviews you ve read about this place are all true. It certainly lives up to all of the acclaim. I will begin with the best person ever - Cara. She is the lead wedding coordinator at Woodloch and is extremely talented. Cara is knowledgeable, patient, flexible, calming, kind, accommodating, and genuine. I was so grateful for her throughout the entire planning process. She answered my bazillion questions in a timely fashion, met with our families numerous times, kept detailed notes of our likes/dislikes, showed us the many set up options, took a special trip to the guest homes with us, hosted our taste testing like we were in her own home and countless other things! She is so sharp - she remembered the little details I only mentioned once. She set up the decorations with such care - as if it was her own wedding. She was professional, focused, and calm throughout the rehearsal and the big event. Honestly, I feel this review doesn t even do her justice. SHE made the wedding absolutely amazing. The entire Woodloch staff is just incredible. Karen, the accommodations specialist, was so helpful and easy going. Many of my guests had such nice things to say about her. She truly set the tone for the Woodloch experience. We visited numerous times before the wedding and were always treated with the utmost hospitality by all. When we mentioned we were getting married there, every staff member - the dining room staff, our waitress at The Grille, the lifeguards at the pool, the boat drivers, the check in staff - jumped with joy for us! Everyone there created such a festive, good feeling about our wedding and they didn t even know who we were! During the weekend of the wedding, the staff took special care of us and our guests. Everything was executed perfectly and with ease. We all stayed in the Springs Guest Homes just a few minutes from the main campus (Pines). People that hadn t seen each other in a while housed together and enjoyed it as a weekend reunion. The homes were clean, beautiful, and had everything (even and full kitchen and grill)! The question everyone needs to know is how in the world did you find this place? was asked all weekend. It is a hidden gem. All of our guests enjoyed the numerous activities that come with the stay between our events. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at one of the bigger, 5 bedroom, houses. It comfortably fit 45 people. We ordered Woodloch s catering which involved a delicious meal and a keg. It was a warm, comfortable place to host the dinner. Woodloch also has many other options including a more formal sit down event (the options are endless). The next day, shuttles transported everyone to and from the wedding. Our ceremony was gorgeous - right on the lake. If it rained, the ceremony would have been inside The Inn overlooking the lake near the beautiful fireplace. The cocktail hour had a nice crudite spread of veggies and fruits with the perfectly made pigs in a puff pastry. We had an open bar from the cocktail hour to the end of the reception. The buffet option was the best - eight hot dishes and a full table of cold options. The reception ended at 4pm. Many guests frolicked around the campus or relaxed before our after party bonfire at 8:30pm outside of our homes. Woodloch set up a fire pit and s mores. This was my favorite part because we were truly able to connect with everyone in a relaxed environment. People could simply walk back to their homes afterwards. We caped it off with a family brunch at the dining hall the next morning followed by activities. My friends and family LOVED the wedding. This was such a great spot for people to join for the weekend. I am going to recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.
