Hands down my absolute favorite park! I've walked ...

Hands down my absolute favorite park! I've walked hundreds of miles with my son and dog. I've fished. I've taken my dog to the dog park. I've frisbee golfed. I've watched sunsets. I've played on the playground. I've played putt putt. I've watched the blimp take off multiple times. I've taken hundreds if not thousands of pictures at this park... so many memories and there's no shortage of the amount of time I've spent at this park over the last 4 years living in Akron. We are regular walkers 2-3 times weekly and all the other regulars are so nice and friendly. Even the park maintenance staff greets us almost daily. The park is always clean and well maintained. I can't even say enough. Best park in Northeast Ohio and one of the best spots for sunsets!

Was my first time visiting the park and lake today...

Was my first time visiting the park and lake today. Used the kayak launch area to get my two kayaks into the lake. Overall the area was wonderful. The concrete launch ramp was easy to get boats in and out of water with no hassle.

Was a bit disappointed to find there were no bathroom facilities at the launch area (the building seems to be long in disuse and there were no ports potties near the launch) but give the current situation with covid, understandable.

On the water, lots of wildlife and things to see. Saw a bald eagle, which was the highlight of the trip easily. Didn't fish (was just out exploring) but talked with several people on the water fishing that said fishing is usually pretty good most days.

From what I saw today, the rest of the park is still being maintained and is in good shape. Overall a great spot to check out and visit!

Wingfoot Lake made a perfect location for our outdoor wedding. We rented a shelter in case of rain, but luckily did not have to use it. It was very affordable, and the park staff helped a ton. We we're able to set up a huge trellis and about 200 chairs the day of the wedding, without any need for permits. I will say we had a bit of a parking issue with that many guests. Overall, our day was gorgeous and the perfect setting right on the lake.

Love this park, great place to hangout with friends or to get away and just think. It has benches overlooking the lake so you can see sunset, the blimp and and sun rise as well. Paved walk ways make this an ideal park for walking and playing Pokemon go. They also have boat rentals a driving range and a mini golf course (this is slightly outdated, and it needs restored).

I love this park and have come here for almost 30 years. The only issue I've had is the mini golf course is not kept up. We went this weekend and there were tons of weeds on the putting greens, the railings are dirty and need painted, the price is a bit high (used to be a lot cheaper - now $5 for adults). It used to be beautifully maintained (thank you, Goodyear), but it is kind of sad now! One of my favorite courses, though.

Pavilions, boat ramps, playgrounds, mini golf, Frisby golf, soccer field, volleyball, bochie ball, horse shoes, basketball, hiking, fishing, dog park, boat and kayak rentals. If you can't find something to do here you are the most boring person on the planet.

Took my disabled mother there a few weekends ago. She can get around a wee bit with a cane and her wheeled walker, but longer journies require either a vehicle or her wheelchair. After a short picnic at one of the multiple picnic tables, I pushed her around the park in her wheelchair. It was easier than I expected thanks to the smooth, paved walkways that wind around a decent portion of the park. We ran into one of the workers near the main restroom, and he was very likable. A+
