A perfect practice, can not fault the level of expertise, the professionalism, the service. From the friendly caring welcome from Belinda, the quality work completed by Hannah, finished off by The Boss, Patrick, dentists like this are few and far between . Five Stars is not enough

I have been coming to Backwell Dental Care since 2009. During this time I have had extensive treatment including dental implants. I cannot rate the care and after care highly enough - it has been excellent. Reception should also receive a five star rating.

I am nearing the end of my Invisalign treatment at Backwell Dental Care, and my experience has been faultless. Service, treatment, facilities and staff are all unparalleled. I would highly recommend.

I have been a patient at Blackwell Dental Care for over 20 years. I used to be terrified of dentists but Patrick's patience has ensured that that is a thing of the past. I cannot praise the practice more highly. I had never thought I could be so relaxed while having my teeth sorted! Having the latest technology also gives one confidence of the high standard of treatment at all times.

Ultra modern surgery with kind and compassionate staff, from the friendly welcome of the reception team, to the patience and professionalism of the dental and hygiene staff. Have recommended the surgery to my family and friends. It's a very calming atmosphere for anyone who may be a nervous patient, I especially like the TV screen above the dentist chair with the slideshow of calming images to distract your mind and put you at ease - definitely a small but extremely effective touch! Although I'm a private patient, the price is reasonable, especially for the quality of service you receive here. Nothing feels like 'too much to ask for' and the reception team are very knowledgeable and helpful and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get top quality service. Top marks all round, thank you!

I am lucky enough to have been a patient at Backwell Dental Care since 1986. During this time I have found the practise to provide an excellent and professional service.
The technology used is the most efficient and up to date available, helping to assist my dentist Patrick Kennedy and hygienist Hannah Stein to provide a pain free and pleasant dental experience.
Last year I had a dental implant, Patrick spoke to me at length about the process before I made the decision to go ahead.
It was an easy and comfortable process. The benefits have been so positive for me, enabling a balanced bite when eating and giving me the confidence to smile widely without the worry of showing a witch like gap!
Having damaged another tooth over the Christmas period, I found myself with no option but to have another extraction yesterday, which was painlessly performed by Patrick.
I am not going to hesitate in having another implant as soon as possible.
I cannot recommend Backwell Dental Care highly enough, and can actually say I like going to the dentist! With such wonderful staff like the warm, kind and funny Belinda on reception from the moment you enter until the moment you leave it is definitely a big SMILE all the way

After moving from Lancashire to Nailsea, I hadn't registered with a dentist. The reason for this was I was too scared. Always being registered with NHS dentists and experiencing some traumatic treatments in the past made me anxious about seeing any dentist. Then I developed an abscess which progressed into a serious infection very quickly. After searching the internet for a dentist to help as quick as possible because of the pain I was in, I came across Backwell Dental Care and booked an appointment. The wonderful Patrick and Madelaine were fabulous. I was so anxious on my arrival and in extreme pain. They quickly diagnosed my problem and prescribed antibiotics to calm the infection. Two days later the tooth was extracted whilst under sedation (sorry for snoring on your chair Patrick!!!) which I can highly recommend if you are a nervous patient. Follow up treatment was fabulous too after a secondary infection. I'm going to admit, it's not cheap..............but so worth it. I will never go to an NHS dentist again. Belinda on reception is so lovely. Caring and empathetic and made me smile even though I was in pain. I never thought I would have faith in dentists ever again but Patrick and team are nothing short of fantastic. If you are looking for a dentist that is caring, calming, and first class treatment, here is the place to go. Thank you again Patrick, Madelaine and Belinda. You've all given me my smile back.

Excellent service from Patrick and his team, as always over the past 20 years

Tim and I are patients of the Backwell Dental clinic, we both have routine check ups and hygiene visits which are excellent. Last year we both wanted whiter teeth and after consultation with Chris who showed us what we could achieve we decided to have composites. We have both been delighted with the results and would highly recommend any and all services provided from Backwell.

I freely admit I have a low pain threshold and reserve my confidence in professionals for those who deserve it; Patrick Kennedy has been my dentist for thirty one years, testament in itself. He is supported by a superb team of caring and engaging staff. I can only speak in glowing terms in respect of this practice.

Excellent practice. I cannot believe I nearly fell asleep in the chair I was so relaxed. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Especially if you are nervous of dentists. Chris made me feel relaxed and at home. Best of all a wonderful job and no pain.

I have just had my first Invisalign appointment, great experience all round. Incredibly friendly staff and welcoming reception. I felt very comfortable with Patrick which is a first for me with a dentist. Definitely worth the trip from London! Highly recommend.

I was So nervous about going to the Dentist! Backwell Dental Care made me feel very at ease, I ve had a lot of experience in visiting Dentists as I broke my front teeth when I was 8 so trust me when I say this is the Best I ve ever been to!!

I have been a patient at this practice for some years now and I have always received outstanding care and dental treatment from my dentist, their dental nurses and their hygienists. In addition the practice as a whole is amazing, friendly, personable, comfortable and the staff always treat patients with respect. I would never go anywhere else for my dental treatment even though I have to travel a 225mile round trip to see the practice! I feel that its totally worthwhile.

I am a nervous patient but Patrick put me at ease from my first visit, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Most recently I had a new crown measured and fitted using 3D imagery, made on the premises and "installed" in my mouth all within one hour - no need for an uncomfortable messy mould to be taken, no second visit or temporary crown. The staff are friendly and the surgery is modern and comfortable. Wonderful!

If I could give 10 stars that wouldn t be enough! I have been a happy patient at this practice for about 18 years and never regretted it once. Patrick Kennedy is an exceptional dentist, I totally trust his opinion and the high standard of his dentistry is second to none. He has done a whole mouthful of crowns for me spread out over a few years since early 2004; the majority were done around that time. They are all going strong with one or two exceptions due to accidents & decay. A comfortable set of teeth that look very natural! Have had quite a few compliments about my teeth. Truthfully I would never dream of seeing another dentist.
The emphasis has always been on prevention rather than repair so visits to the hygienist have been rewarding in this regard. Again all treatment whether by Patrick or the hygienists has been very gentle.
The staff are friendly & caring; the osteopath Steve Harper has gently helped to ease my arthritic knee condition and other aches with no discomfort. He has taken a lot of trouble to tackle and relieve my achey body. Thank you Steve!
I know it s about 8 miles from bristol but unlike travelling anywhere in Bristol you can usually rely on traffic not being heavy most of the day and so don t need to allow masses of extra time to be on the safe side. And parking is easy so one doesn t arrive for treatment feeling stressed and exhausted!

I can't recommend Backwell Dental Care highly enough. The entire team are brilliant- providing a very friendly and professional service. Patrick Kennedy is an exceptional dentist- he provides a standard of dentistry I have never experienced before.
I had been very unhappy with the appearance of my teeth for a number of years and suffered from lots of toothache. I booked a consultation with Patrick to discuss options. I had extensive treatment lasting several months including a dental implant. The implant procedure was much easier than I expected - no discomfort was felt during or after treatment. I had all my crowns replaced and several root fillings with again no discomfort. I was delighted with the results and have had several compliments regarding my teeth and can now smile with confidence.

I can't recommend Backwell Dental highly enough, a fantastic practice and a brilliant service! The clinic building itself is lovely and the onsite parking is handy. Once inside the staff are friendly and really competent.

Not only was the dentist running on-time, he saw me early! Chris gave me a really thorough check up, and the treatment he recommended was done with the utmost care and gentleness. His bedside manner is excellent, leaving you feeling reassured that you are indeed in good hands. All in all a great dentist at a lovely practice!

shame the max you can give is 5 stars. i'm one of their more challenging patients, i want nice teeth but to have someone else sit in the chair and have the work done. The team are patient and caring and go out of their way to make things easier for me to cope with. i would recommend Backwell Dental Practice without any hesitation. Modern and comfortable surroundings with a team that truly care about your comfort. thank you

I Have suffered with a severe phobia of the dentist for about 27 years after a really bad experience as a child Patrick started my treatment back in December 2017 and I cannot believe how amazing he has been with me. Showing me patience and support and not making me feel judged for the state of my teeth and gums, I have had 14 teeth removed and 7 implants fitted most of the work has been under sedation but wow I used to have a panic attack at the mere thought of going to the dentist now I m fine I can go in and even open my mouth. The sedation is gentle and I have little or no memory of the treatment. All of the team there are lovely and supportive I would highly recommend this wonderful man to anyone he has changed my life I can now smile

I cannot praise Backwell Dental Care enough. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, you are treated with the utmost care and respect. The atmosphere at reception is very friendly and relaxing. All the staff are extremely considerate and they go to great lengths to alleviate any anxieties or concerns that you may have.
The treatment that you receive will be conducted in a very professional environment and can only be described as artistry And the results are literally gain without the pain.

Very friendly put me ease right from the first phone call.
Chris explained all the treatment I needed and talked it all through as he did the work over the next few weeks.
I was sent to Katie one of the hygienists for a clean up again very friendly and talked through all that needed doing.
I would highly recommend this practice.

ABSOLUTELY PLATINUM SERVICE. BELINDA MAKES ME FEEL CALM ON ARRIVAL AND NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE .SHE IS TERRIFIC.I THEN GO THROUGH TO HANNAH WHO KEEPS MY MOUTH PURE AND NICE TO KNOW. SHE ALSO HAS UP TO DATE ADVICE ON LATEST TECHNIQUES. THEN I GO THROUGH TO PATRICK WHO WORKS MIRACLES AND ENABLES A 65 YEAR OLD TO WORK WITH THE CONFIDENCE THAT SMILING AT CLIENTS WILL NOT TERRIFY THEM,! ALL THE STAFF ARE APPROACHABLE AND GENEROUS SPIRITED. I USED TO GO TO WESTON SUPER MARES LARGEST PRACTICE AND WOULD NEVER GO BACK..

My dentist since 2010. Excellent practice. Mostly private (but good value) but took my kids on as NHS list which was great! Can't speak highly enough of the professionalism of all the team.

Very anxious patient, with very bad teeth. Every person in this dentist is amazing. So helpful, caring and friendly. I hadn't really been to a dentist for 15 years I was so anxious and embarrassed about my teeth. Then I had to go and the NHS were... " not ideal"... it took months and still I couldn't get it sorted. After ringing up in tears I was seen rapidly and had 3 teeth removed under IV sedation. Still not quite over my fear, I can barely believe they got me to do it, but I am forever grateful to everyone for inspiring a 32 year old who had given up on his teeth to come in and then go through with the treatment!

If you're a nervous dental patient, I was a state. I have left dentists crying, having panic attacks in dental chairs, and I haven't really smiled for 15 years because I was ashamed when I chipped a tooth. Stop reading and give these guys a call. Belinda or Madeleine will pick up and they will treat you like family until you are happy with your smile.

Rang in the morning to get an emergency appointment for my elderly mum they saw her on the same day in the afternoon very quick and efficient

You definitely get what you pay for here. The staff are very friendly and professional (Tracey, Chris and Hannah). The place is kept clean and fresh as you would expect. As dentists go this place is the nuts.
