Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. We have (2) Pathway portable dish's, have had one since 2014 that works perfectly bought another one in April, won't find all of the satellites. Troubleshoot on phone with Dish for 1.5 hours, Dish comes to look at it checks all connections for another 2.5 hours. They tell me it is the Pathway. Call retailer who I purchased it from, 2-days later he can't help me have to call Winegard. Call Winegard and I'm frustrated because now I have to spend time with their tech support for them to tell me it's broken. Customer service lady is HORRIBLE, screams at me tells me I am belittling her - no I'm frustrated that I have to spend hours on the phone with people to get something accomplished. She proceeds to tell me that Dish techs don't know what they are doing so I should have called Windgard in the first place. Thanks for the advice and maybe I should have but I'm not sure how I would know that when my service is with Dish. I expect better. I deserved better.

Quit working after about 2 hours of use. Dealer said he would replace it if I would take it down and bring it in. I am 80+ yo, my climbing and messing around on roofs days have past. I guess I will just take my loss and look somewhere else. It gets one star because there is no zero option!

Called Saturday to get help w/ our sat system and Alan was great. He has helped us out in the past and today he had us up and running in an hour and fifteen minutes. This guy never waivered, never lost patience w/ us, and was a huge help. Want to send a gift card to say thanks but they're closed now, much rather reward Alan for his care and concern than call in someone we don't know and hope they're qualified. If Tech Srv. would contact us we will send our Thank you.

We've just bought an older rv, and the antenna raising handle was broken. I emailed Winegard, the manufacturer and 15 minutes and two replies later a new replacement was being mailed to us free of charge. I think that's great customer service, thanks Winegard

I bought a wine guard satellite and have had nothing but trouble with it, every time I call in they put you on hold for god knows how long and eventually goes to voicemail. It s not till hours later before someone calls you back and then when that person can t help you they transfer you and then you have to leave another voicemail. When someone who allegedly knows what they are talking about calls you back they act as if it s an inconvenience when you suggest sending the equipment back for work. They sure want you to give them a lot of money to buy the system though. Rip off!!!!

i purchased an RV WiFi extender antenna unit from winegard 2.5 years ago, at a cost of ~$1000. because it was on my RV (stored under cover when not in use) it got used about 3-4 months every year. the unit has recently failed; according to their tech support person (she was very responsive) the unit was likely faulty. sadly, the unit is 6 months out of warranty. their response? "buy a new unit." i think their company policy shows poor customer service. i guess they're too big to try hard. i am looking at replacement units from other companies. winegard has lost my business.

I've had 3 different models of the Winegard antennas for our semi sand I couldn't be happier. If you're on the road as a single driver or team runner check into the in motion satellite antenna.

You would honestly have better luck getting a hold of someone at the DMV. I have left messages upon messages they force you leave after being on hold too long. Not a single response. Sent and email like recommended. Not a response. The only thing forcing me to use their service is that our RV already has two Winegard satellites and direct tv won t set them up without transferring you back to winegard.

Worst Customer Service On the Planet! This company thinks that 30 minute wait times to get to a live person is acceptable. You can leave a message like they suggest, but SURPRISE! no one calls back. This company is horrible and I cannot believe they are still in business. Buy anything other than a Winegard product.

So... UPDATE. This is what I get from them after two days of no return call..."Response from the owner 9 hours ago. Hello John, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Did someone eventually get a hold of you? If not, please send me a way to reach you and I will have someone call or email you." ***Here's a thought, put your contact information in the email if you really want to hear from an actual customer.*** Amazingly bad...still.

Warning! If you buy a used RV that has a satellite dish (ours was DirectTV) DO NOT sign up for service with directtv or dish until you are sure your satellite can lock into a signal!!!! New user here and I didn t think a 1200.00 satellite would be old at 8 years and not be repairable and signed up for directtv and they sent me the wrong receiver. I had to fight for over a month to get the right receiver sent and then had to wait until we we above freezing temps to try to activate and now my satellite won t connect. Because it s old I can t get it serviced. I am also locked into a 2 year contract with directtv that I cannot cancel without paying a 200 cancellation fee for a service I cannot even get!!!! What a rip off. Learn from my mistakes.

Was given a satellite dish and stand for Christmas gift by my wife and it didn t fit in storage area of our RV so we wanted to exchange or return it. However, it was purchased more than 30 days before we opened gifts for Christmas. Never used, out of box once. Called and a very pleasant lady helped me but her manager refused to budge from their 30 day return rule. I live in Iowa about a 100 miles from the Burlington Iowa company office and offered to drive it down to have the manager look at it before accepting the return and they declined. Their prerogative but terrible customer relationship building. Their product may be fine (don t know) but once it s out the door don t expect them to have your back. Disappointing way to treat anyone let alone a fellow Iowan. I will be active on my RV websites.

It's a great place to work. I have owned several winegard products and all work as expected or better. I have worked the dome areas; they are put together with perfection; quality department is on top of everything. I love talking to the technicians, supervisors, and engineering departments to gain knowledge of all of our products. I currently work shipping department. Products are handled with care. We have a neat, clean and orderly warehouse. The boss is strict, but that's ok with me, because if wasn't for us, you wouldn't have the products. As long as the carriers handle our pallets of product, there shouldn't be a problem with the product.

Your company and it's "help" desk is absolutely useless. I've been back and forth for over a month now, trying to get the Winegard to update the sim card number on my account. I keep on getting the same generic reply, which is not helpful. When I go through your tech support, they tell me to reset my device or update the software, which does absolutely nothing to update my SIM number.

I got a new sim card I want to put in the winegard. I changed it already, but the device is still showing the old sim card number. How do I fix this issue? The provider is correct. All software is updated. I've already done a reset. My W Connected app still shows the old sim card number.

I have found them unresponsive, unreliable and have products that are mediocre and very unreliable service. They promote their cheap on DirecTV and no one wants to repair. I've gotten 3 times at 70 and disabled I should go I the roof, disconnect abd send to Iowa. Well I went to a good RV tech he did just that 4 weeks later and two out of the box had units I got it on. 3 grand later. After all that I'm in Wisconsin abd my box that connects the traveler dish no longer communicates or even turns on. I'm so frustrated because it's box even a switchable unit it's DirecTV only? I'm come with this product, considering the 280 mile trip from where I seen to weingard just to burn their equipment on their front lawn.

Well, they are eager to sell, but not so eager to accommodate you if you don t need a product after all. My boyfriend bought a DTV receiver, but it took a while (over 30 days) to realize that we weren t going to use it after all. You would think that a company that deals with products used in recreational vehicles would have a more realistic return policy. I wish we had read the reviews on here before purchasing. It appears more people are unhappy than happy. WHAT A TERRIBLE RATING!!!! Alas, it appears that disputed their ridiculously low rating, they are uninterested in improving customer relations. If you HAVE to purchase from this company. Make sure you are going to test the product right away. Ours is still in the box with the seal unbroken, and they refuse to take it back. So, be absolutely sure you re going to use your product right away if you must purchase from these people.

Update, took them month of me fighting to get replacement. They shipped me nice new working unit! Up and running again. When it works, it rocks!

2020 Thor RV came winegard 2 Togo unit.
Paid the 360 for year of ATT
Would hang monthly and have to reboot to reconnect
Then go No sim card error
Watch videos, reset to factory, pulled card etc.
No were in software is anything about simm card for att anymore!!
Emailed tech support detail what did.
They ask questions I already wrote in email.
No freaking help. All they want is for me to prove I have one. Sent them serial number sticker on manual and pics of advertisements in RV for their product and purchase of RV invoice.

If dealer can't fix, will make nice YouTube video of blowing up the unit!!
