I have stayed here numerous occasions over the last year and experienced problems every time. Even when purchasing a substantial gift certificate, the level of customer service was sub-par to say the least. The front desk staff is poorly trained and the managment does not deal with problems effectively. I will not patronize this establishment in the future.

It's an elegant place. The interior courtyard cocktail venue and then dinner in a very nice ballroom. There are no negatives. My only regret is that I didn't go a few hours early and enjoy the spa before the dinner event. Ahh well, I'll do that next time.

Wine and Roses is absolutely the finest place you could possibly hope to spend time at. The food is superb, the staff so outgoing, warm, and top notch professional. The grounds are serene and meticulously tended to. There's no where in there are that compares!

Hidden gem that really differentiates when needing to stay in the area for a while... the food (while good) can get a little pricey. The wine selection is great and the ambiance is fantastic as well. Rooms are large and well kept with nice private patios for all. For the other options around, the price is unbeatable and not comparable to even a nice chain hotel. Will be back.

Great food, wine, service and ambiance. Treat yourself and guests to a most enjoyable meal. Outdoor dining under the tree canopy with lights and piano music will enhance your experience. You won't be disappointed.

I attended a lovely wedding and reception at this beautiful location. The outdoor setting is very welcoming and the reception hall was quite beautiful. There is a restaurant and bar with outdoor seating at this lovely location

We were introduced by the local for this nice hidden restaurant. We weren't able to get seated because they don't like walk in customers. So we went for other lunch place and book a dinner. The meals were nice but one of the entry was too salty. Price is on reasonable high side but the service was excellent.

Spent the day at the spa. Had a traditional manicure and the signature heel peel treatment that truly did an amazing job on my feet. Also had the organic signature facial that was more than I expected. My favorite of the day was the sticks and stones massage. AMAZING. Half of it was a hand massage and the other half was hot stones and a cool bamboo stick.

In the doghouse with your partner? A massage here then dinner will solve that! An upscale restaurant is on the resort campus. Tasteful minimalist decor. Excellent service. Prices par for the segment. Portions more than par. Amazing seasonal menu. The flavors and textures of the preparations are top notch. No wonder this a frequent location for celebrity visits. Magical. Just.... beautiful and makes you feel like you're royalty being there. Groupon deals make this historical resort and winery do-able for lower middle class. They have beautiful grounds and exotic birds in the gardens. Their wines are great for the area.

Went to a wedding here and it felt like a vacation! The beds are nice and comfy, the little private patios make it feel like you're in a lush oasis. Everyone on staff was really helpful with directions and wine tasting, etc. Brunch was pricey, but that is my only complaint. Left feeling super romantic.

Edit:

Edit:
This being a "nicer" spa, one would think they would not be made to feel like a liar and or accused of intoxication because they are laughing and joking with friends, but sadly that is what happened to me. I was with a group of my mom friends and we had purchased some wine on-site. When asked, "did you buy that alcohol here," we said yes. The staff member looked at us skeptical and walked away. Not too much later we decided to go to the pool because we were having fun and laughing and some other guests were bothered by this. When the staff informed us we were a bit too loud we were MORE than happy to oblige and quiet down. (Hey, we're moms with no kids! Haha)
We headed to the locker rooms to freshen up and what not. Upon returning, the 4 of us with our lockers next to each other could not access them. We told the staff and she promptly became nervous and said that we had ALL left them open. We had not. (In fact, I even had come back to get my sunglasses and thought my friends was open but it was the one next to hers.) When she entered in the master key to open my locker she flung the door open and said, "you cant have that! I need to confiscate it." It was the left over re-corked wine I had that I didn't finish.
We were pretty upset with the fact that our lockers had been accessed with out our permission or knowledge. They told us we couldn't have the wine because we didn't get it there. Which we had. Then they told us buying it in the W&R tasting room didn't count. Uhhh, okay? No one told us that.
When reaching out and speaking to the Director, she was not empathetic or understanding. She did not apologize. We expressed our feeling of wanting to leave. She said she'd talk to her staff and get back to us. She returned in about 10 mins or so telling us to leave. When one of my friends went to go have her locker opened, because she still had not been in it, the director, followed her in and proceeded to reiterate why we were wrong and insinuate that all of us do not remember leaving our doors open because we were intoxicated. In what world does laughing and joking = intoxicated? It was an incredibly offensive insinuation.
I am 100% sure they either went into our lockers or reset our passwords because they wanted to be there when we opened them. Either was it is extremely rude.

I was really happy with the massage we received. I was unhappy however with the quality of food and amount of food in which we received. I paid $18 for a Cheese platter and got 3 samples of Cheese. And when I Say samples I mean samples. It was a little ridiculous with how tiny the pieces of cheese were for the price that I paid. The food was definitely over rated

What a surprise to find this gem. Such a beautiful wedding location. The over all experience was lovely. The food was great and the service was excellent! Parking was a bit odd having to go to the back and then working your way through the buildings to where the event was held but otherwise it was super.
