I've been a customer of Jerry's Liquor for at least 3 decades, and known Sammy ever since he started there. They have always had an incredible wine and liquor selection, by far the best on the Westside. And yes, way better than Wally's. Many obscure wines and liquors that you just won't be able to find anywhere else. One time, years ago, I asked Sammy to recommend a bottle of Vodka for a party at a Russian Restaurant. He handed me this unique bottle, his eyes lit up and he said, "Take This!" I never did find out the name... So I took it. When I walked in the restaurant, the waiters all stared, the owner came out of the kitchen, "Where did you get that!" I was a star!!! No kidding! They couldn't wait to get their hands on that bottle, and start throwing down shots! Those crazy Russians really know how to party! :) Anyway, Sammy is also a really nice guy. Heart of Pure Gold. He'll go way out of his way to make you happy, and be sure to come back. Like a real neighborhood shopkeeper. He wants to make you happy, so you'll come back. Do yourself a favor, and check him out. You'll be glad you did!

Great service and help! Super friendly and seemingly very knowledgeable. All of their wines are from small vineyards too which I found nice in the world of corporate agriculture. Would def go back....lets see how my guests like their recommendations thou ;)

One of my favourite places to cool down and drink fine wines with friends. We were welcomed with a smile from the moment we walked in, and the workers immediately supported us. My wife and I had the Noble Vines of Chardonnay and it was lovely! If you love drinking wine, I highly recommend this place. Soon we will certainly come back!

Awesome selection of wine, whiskey, and beer with focus on quality, not brand name. Very eclectic store, has something for everyone.

Great place for your alcohol beverages. Very large selection to choose from. They also give smell discount if you buy in bulk, thanks Jerry!

If I could give them more than 4 stars, I absolutely would. They gave me best genuine welcome, fallowed with amazing food, and superb service at all times. Saul, Abel and Angel were all so attentive and genuine in their service. Best Wine Expo Jerrys Liquor and lobster ravioli I have ever had. If you want something intimate and enjoy family owned businesses that care about quality and service please come try this place, you will not be disappointed.

I love love love this place! Susan is the best bartender ever, she will hold a great conversation, make you laugh, and hook you up with the best tasting wines. Go here!

Great selection at every price range and friendly service

I drove over 25 miles to get here on time when they are supposed to open at 10am and it's now 10:15 am and the doors are still locked and no one is in the store at all!!!

Stopped here to get a bottle of wine to celebrate friends engagement and new home. Folks here we're super friendly. And I love the concept. We wine tasted (and got 50% off for happy hour) and based on tasting picked our wines.

Great customer service, knowledgeable, helped me find something new that I pike more than what I was drinking before.

I was introduced to Wine Expo by one of my physician friends. He was raving about Sammy, the manger, for months. I finally decided to join him on one of his visits to Sammy at Wine Expo just before the holidays. Sammy was even more charismatic and generous than the stories I had heard.
With a wide selection of high end wines along with everyday labels, the place is packed with every kind of liquor you can imagine. I have no idea how they attract their clients given their low key location, but apparently many other colleagues and friends have been shopping there for years.
I highly recommend Wine Expo to anyone interested in an excellent collection of wines and of course a multilingual manager who's keen on sharing his honest opinion of any bottle you pick up. A votre Sante!

Best place to grab alcohol on the westside. Sammy is super nice and his prices are way less than Ralphs and even Costco! I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Happy hour pricing and relatively low traffic means that you and your friends can own the night.

Huge variety of wine - especially Italian. Owner super knowledgeable about his selection and excited to share what he knows. They also have a wine tasting section which I have not yet been to but looks cool.

I wanted to grab a bottle of wine, got here at 9:45pm the store is completely closed and locked. don't put 10pm on your website if you are not.

Nice place for snacks! I don't drink for personal beliefs but I do occasionally drop by a liquor shop for food and this one's staff is great!

This 20 for $20 should really be a 10 for $10. The hidden gem of LA. With Susan at the helm, this place will brighten up your night. It s a hurricane of alcohol, so buckle up and take an Uber.

I had the lemon chicken faff, a Wine Expo, and some other treat which I conveniently forgot what was called. Not only were the prices great, but the food was very tasty. It had a nice balance of flavor and texture. The customer service was also top notch. I will absolutely go back here again.

The staff are accommodating, the service is fine, and you can choose from a lot of wines. This wine shop has it all, and here's what you need. The food is shockingly good and worth the visit, but the extensive wine range that it provides is what sets it apart from others. This wine shop I highly recommend to everyone.

Very disappointed. I ordered a hard to find Benedictine through Drizzly. The order arrived very fast. However, the bottle looked different than on the website and from what I was used to. I figured they just changed the label, so I decided to try it: it tastes completely different. Upon a closer look at the label, this is a blend of Cognac and Benedictine. Not what I ordered! I called and asked for a refund, but they flat out refused. Thanks for tricking me out of 50 bucks. Well done.Total bait and switch. Description on Dizzly does not match with what they delivered.

They. Know. Wine. All employees know their wine. I really appreciate that I can walk in, tell them what I m looking for or what occasion I need it for. I m in and out of there within minutes with a bottle or more of something that never fails to be anything but perfect. They do wine tastings and offer food. However don t expect much for food options. They re super limited.

Great selection of Italian wines, nice service, and fun tasting room.

I've known Robert and Ali for a long time. They always have great wines, beers, Cognac, Whiskey, etc. Don't expect Wine Spectator 90+ wines - but do expect to find (with their help) Italian versions that are as good or better, for a lot less money. You need sparkling wine? They have many, in an ever-changing selection. Although I no longer live in Santa Monica, I drop by on visits to pick up presents for friends and family. They installed a tasting bar, with wine, beer, and light snacks. Finally had a chance to try it out. Had an excellent glass of wine, and three Cheeses that were quite good. I'll be back.

This is a nice wine shop with a wide variety of wines to fit both preferences and budgets. This wine shop appeals to me because it has a wide variety of wines at a good price. Their experience with the consumer is outstanding!

I feel so lucky to live across the street from Wine Expo! Ali, the owner, is so knowledgeable and always takes great care of us. No matter your budget he has the perfect suggestion for every meal and occasion. He greets us with a "welcome home" when we walk in the door. The wine bar is great and their happy hour glasses and flights can't be beat.

I really love the scent of the wine and every time I take a sip of it speaks perfection to me. What a lovely and romantic also the ambiance in the shop. The wrappings of the bottles are such a beauty! The staff has a wide knowledge of wines. I really love this place. It can lessen my stress. Such a perfect place to unwind!

The owner Sammy is so rude.... what a terrible place to buy wine. He is a true fake person. Bad attitude.... I would rather give Wally s the business.. it s better to go to Wally s in Santa Monica.

The good news is that there's a lot of rare whiskey, including Yamazaki 10, Yoichi 15, Hibiki 21, Blanton's, Pappy, Weller. The bad news is that it's all horribly overpriced. Not recommended unless you're a celebrity throwing a last-minute party.

This place has the biggest selection of wines I've seen in LA. The owner is a very chill, down to earth woman. The first time I went there, I discovered the tasting bar in the back! I think the deal was like 20 tastings for 20 bucks. Great local business to support!

Okay, little on the expensive side but a good selection of expensive and rare wines if thats what you're in to.
