We've been to many all inclusive resorts, but Windjammer has beat all our expectations. The customer service is top notch, starting way before we arrived. The staff is most pleasant, going out of their way to make your stay most enjoyable. Unlike many all inclusive resorts, the food at Windjammer restaurants is comparable to some sought-after US restaurants. I think the reason being that they offer both all inclusive and regular service.
Granted our visit was during low occupancy (we heard a figure 30% being thrown around), we liked how all water activities were available throughout the day, and restaurant reservations were easy to make.
Kids loved the Kids Club, just be aware that they only offer two hours in the morning, and 1.5 in the evening (for a nominal fee).
Would definitely stay here again!

The beach is not great and the resort is a bit old; however, it's still one of the best resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean.

Great location and good facilties. Food not great and expensive.
Ordered a roti with jerk chicken. Roti dry, some of it inedible, chicken was preformed cubes plus mostly rice. The cost was $16 US.
Also, 20% added to everything you buy (service and governent tax). Aviod on-site supermarket as it charges at least double the local supermarket. Better to get a cab to Massey in Rodney Bay and stock up if you want to self cater ($30 return)
Lots for kids to do Beach very good.

This was our honeymoon trip after 12 years. Staff here is excellent. Check in was amazing and smooth. Our villa was an amazing location. They do have shuttle that take you for OK m the villas to the main beach and restaurant area. If you don't like the hills I would not recommend this resort. A non issue for us. Thought the three different restaurants had a decent selection of menus. Fish fry in Saturday was amazing. It was a buffet style with a lot of local food to pick from. Their breakfast was good but wish they had more of local things on the menu. Beach, snorkeling, and watersports rental was awesome. Will definitely return

Stunning views, wonderful friendly staff and just the perfect oasis from the hustle and bustle. We utilized the private chef for our 4 BR Villa and I highly recommend. Chef Warren and Damian were rock stars. John, our daily shuttle driver (some of the villas are high up so you do need a shuttle to and from the beach), was always happy and kind to our families!

Just got back last week from a 12 day all inclusive stay in a 2 bedroom villa that was very spacious. Thank goodness for the shuttle service as the roads up to the villas were very steep to say the least, only walked uphill twice and walked downhill always as gravity helped. However didnt realize that 1 bedroom was upstairs and one downstairs, so if someone has mobility issues it could be a problem. Loved the rooftop patio with lounges at night as we could see the stars. During the day it was too hot as no umbrella etc. for shade. Had breakfast or dinner at the Dragonfly either menu or buffet. My friend had to have a talk with the manager Cheryl on our 2nd time there as the staff obviously didn t want to be there. No greeting, smiles, and had to wait 30 minutes for juice, mimosas etc. The next day, it was an amazing change. Staff smiling, asking how we were, enjoying vacation, etc. Cheryl thanked my friend for bringing it to her attention and obviously Cheryl s talk to the staff had a definite impact. When staff are friendly and smiling you are inclined to leave a tip too. Nadia loved serving us and was very attentive. You do have to check when the restaurants are open, the Dragonfly is closed 2 nights(Thursday,Sunday?) as well as Papa Don s (Wednesday and Thursday). Papa Don s Italian restaurant was great, from the staff (June manager) and the delicious food every time we ate there. The cats can be a little demanding(especially the little orange one), but if you ignore them, they go to another table. The Upper Deck and Jammers and Embers also had very nice food as well. Enjoyed lounging near the 96 degree beach bar where Nona always gave us great service.
My friend accidentally put her blue sunshirt in with the blue towel when we returned from a catamaran excursion and gave it to the towel hut person. Didn t realize it til the next morning, asked at front desk, who called housekeeping and rechecked at towel hut...not to be found...until the next day when Arlington asked us in the lobby, if he could help us with anything, as we had once again asked at the front desk about the sun shirt. Well lo and behold when we asked if the laundry was done in house and told it was, we knew the shirt had to be on site. Within a few minutes, Arlington called housekeeping and they had found the sun shirt and it would be laundered and delivered to our room... thank you so much Arlington....
Overall we had a great time in St. Lucia, did 4 excursions, Soufriere catamaran sail(if your main interest is the snorkelling, it may only be 20 minutes), Rainforest hike, tram and zip lining package, Pigeon Island treasure hunt(Germaine our guide) and the Mt. Pimard hike (Germaine), (WARNING, THIS HIKE IS NOT DIFFICULT, BUT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT!!!, you have to use ropes to pull yourself up some sheer rock faces, and we sweat off at least 5 pounds doing it!!), worth the view at the top but then had to go back down same way...just make sure you have travel insurance if you do this hike (It should be a challenge on Survivor or the Amazing Race). We should have received a badge or T-shirt saying we survived the Mt. Pimard hike, St. Lucia.

Only moderately recommendable. Food is expensive and only average. In addition to the booked price, a resort fee will be charged, more than $ 10 per day. The rooms / bungalows are quite spacious and originally designed, but only in mediocre condition. Atmosphere is: US cruise. There are better (on St. Lucia) better hotels.

Great staff Esie and her co worker anneta sorry I know spelled their names wrong so sweet. At the front desk they were superb
Only turn off since alot of foreigners come there the staff caters to the white people more than us when we were at breakfast and dinner. Just a little frustrating when we pay the same money. Just will like them to cater to everyone the same. But otherwise gorgeous views and sweet people.

My family and I stayed at the Windjammer-Landing Resort in St. Lucia to celebrate our anniversary from April 2nd-9th, and we had an awesome time. This was our first international trip since the pandemic, and the staff at Windjammer-Landing made memorable for us. My husband, my parents (72 and 81), my 6-year-old son, and I found so much to do while there. Here are the things I loved about Windjammer.
1. The staff is amazing. They treated us like we were family. Ms. Helen, Karen, Ian, Nick, both Darryls, Sam, Kizzie, Junior, Dragon Fly staff, Upper Deck Staff, Papa Don s staff, Travis and Matthew from the bar, ALL of the shuttle drivers, Gayle and Pam from the spa, Joelle from house keeping made us feel so welcome. If we needed ANYTHING, they did their best to make accommodate. We had a few issues with the amount of stairs in the room and my aging parents, but they jump right on the problem and corrected it.
2. I love that COVID safety protocols they took to keep everyone safe. Temperature checks and contact tracing information before dinning at any restaurant.
3. I love that the Windjammer has so many water activists that are included in the price: Banana Boat, sailing, water skiing, kayaking etc..There was also a slide, trampoline, and hammocks in the ocean to enjoy.
4. The entertainment was limited due to COVID, but Sam and the crew did their thing to make it enjoyable for us.
5. There were cool activities for the kids to give parents and grandparents a break. The activities were fun and exciting for my son. He met sever friends that he hung out with during the stay.
6. Our room was amazing! If you can, book the renovated villas. You will not be disappointed!
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you plan to stay:
1. St. Lucia has some pretty strict COVID-19 protocols (for good reason), but Karen helped us work around some of it, by giving us a list of COVID certified restaurants and arranging a taxi for us to get there and back. If you want to get off the resort to enjoy a restaurant, contact Karen. She will go above and beyond to help you work it out.
2. Bring good bug spray. The mosquitoes will eat you alive. :-)
3. Note: There are about 15 or more stairs in just about every room, so be prepared, and if you are bringing aging parents, ask to book a room with minimal stairs.
Side Note: I couldn t get enough of the views!!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!!
