This place will have you hooked! I first visited the resort in 2014 and could not wait to return again in 2015. From the moment you arrive you just know that you are somewhere special. The hospitality is faultless; the ocean view rooms are spectacular; and there are endless activities.

My one negative are the cats that tend to hang around the restaurants waiting for food. The staff do not say anything and assume everyone is ok about cats. I don't mind them, however I do think that the restaurant staff need to be aware that some people might actually be allergic to cats and/or consider it unhygienic.

That said, you will not be disappointed if you choose this resort. It fully deserves my top rating !

This is my second visit to the Windjammer Landing Resort and boy did they exceed my expectations. The staff is super courteous and friendly. And very friendly. And our villa was the bomb!! We had our private jaccuci to enjoy. What a treat!! Way to go!! I will definitely recommend this place.

I cannot say enough great things about this resort. I ve been fortunate to visit the Caribbean many times but this was by far the most exceptional experience. From the rooms, to the facilities, the staff, the views, and not to mention the incredible beauty of Saint Lucia. We chose to stay in two rooms over the course of our stay and they both provided incredible but different views, along with private pools and spectacular views.

Although I m not typically a big fan of resorts, windjammer provided the best of both worlds. The variety of activities, diversity of guests, and sprawling property of a resort within an intimate and boutique setting. I was impressed by the food. There was enough variety and the quality exceeded anything I ve ever experienced at a resort.

The water sports were a big highlight for me, especially the kind staff (Shurandi, Gordon, Jameson, Dwight, and Denver). They were dedicated to helping everyone enjoy their experience through encouragement and coaching.

The spa and fitness facilities and services were 5 star, akin to the four seasons or Ritz in Toronto.

Finally - a big thank you to the resort manager Nick P who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. It s clear why this is one of the best resorts in the Caribbean.

I spent a couple of days at the resort. It's all-inclusive option is a must. You get access to all the watersports and it's right on the beach. They even have equipment in the beach for people to hang out on as well as hammocks in the sea which is cool. They have alot of things going on and I would definitely stay here with family or husband. The location is ideal because it's on the north part of the island where all the nightlife is located

My family of five (three teens, my wife and I) had a fantastic vacation at Windjammer Landing. This place features hillside and beachfront villas accessible by walking (if you like very steep hills) or 24 hour shuttle service.

There are five on-property restaurants although all are not open every night. Dinner reservations are required for all but Jammers on the beach.
The food is quite good but not world class. The breakfast at Dragonfly is an awesome buffet with a huge selection of foods. The only disappointing dish we had was at Papa Don's Italian restaurant.

The food isn't what really stands out though, it is the service. Everyone of the employees from the servers, bartenders and shuttle drivers are very friendly and wield great attitudes and personable smiles. Everyone has a true desire to make you happy. I have been to many Caribbean resorts and this one stands out because of the service.

There is also plenty to do here: swing on the hammocks over the water, paddleboard, kayak, water ski, sail, snorkel, jump on the water trampoline, scuba dive, or just relax with a cold beverage fresh from one of the several bars steps from (and in the case of 96 Degrees in the Shade, directly on) the beach.

There is an on-property travel excursion service and vendors that approach you on the beach as well. Both offer very good trips and are well worth the money.

We went during spring break and found that probably 2 out of every 5 people we encountered were time-share owners and absolutely loved the place.

I only have two minor inconveniences to point out. We found that the wait time for food can be longer than we you might be used to in the USA. For us this was not a huge issue because we had adjusted to "island time" but for families with small children this can be more of a challenge.

We also experienced the standard time-share sales tactic, but if you really are not interested I would suggest letting them know that early in the conversation. They will offer you $100 resort credit for a 90 minute sales presentation. I was diving and my wife was interested to see the other villas but they would not agree to just her being present at the sales pitch so we opted not to participate.

Overall I am very pleased with the Windjammer Landing resort and can highly recommend an all-inclusive package for families.

Its a very amazing hotel to get away from all the daily stress of work and home, with breath taking views and elegant dinning, rooms which resemble a home away from home and an atmosphere which will have you wanting to come back yr after yr

Beautiful Villas on the he mountain side. The sunsets are spectacular. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You cannot park on your villa, though. You need to use a shuttle to get back and forth. I tried one of the restaurants and found it mediocre. The fancier ones are supposed to be better, but we never gave them a chance. We were not all-inclusive, so prices were a bit exaggerated.

Soooo much to talk about. First off in this pandemic the protocol is to be tested thre days before departure. When we reached Windjammer we were informed upon arrival that they just recently changed their policy that they would need a on the spot testing to every premises. There were no communication of this change to their clients. Next was the service of food. The initial 2 days food and drinks took over 45 minutes to come. When it did reach out was cold and they had excuses onto of excuses until we got in contact with their superiors. They ran out of simple supplies like chicken wings and tequila. The city was locked down so were the liquor stores outside of property at the time so we couldn't buy any liquor before coming onto premises. The food was subpar and only two steps above at a restaurant named upper deck had better food. We all purchased the all- inclusive package but yet had to pay for certain items. The only good thing out of everything was the view. If that's all that you care about then you're fine.

A beautiful place for families. The people and the services were great. Our house villa was incredibly beautiful. Our accomodations included all water sports and training, due to time we only enjoyed a few. All terrain sports and training are available but we didn't have time for them. They have a variety of foods even for vegetarians like us. They have a few restaurants inside the resort to choose from. They also have food that little children can eat, my little one enjoyed eating here. They even had a children's nursery and babysitting available. This place is super!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in St. Lucia. Beautiful views from any villa. Five excellent restaurants to choose from. Spa, tennis, mini market for foods, shops, a d quiet beach. Kid friendly with many water sport options. Evening entertainment especially on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Excursions available for booking. Friendly staff goes above and beyond. So much to do here or just relax. Sunsets are outstanding. We have stayed here twice and love it.

Overall experience is good. The staff is super friendly from the house keeping to the staff on the beach serving snacks and drinks. The breakfast we found was the best food st the resort. If you can, get off the resort to experience better quality food. The pizza was the best meal/food we had on the resort besides breakfast.

Places to eat we loved are tapas on the bay in Rodney bay and the coal pot

I got a flyer about the spa at the windjammer Hotel from Ann Austin and visited there yesterday. First of all when I called Ann she was excellent in encouraging me to come over since I was a little hesitant. I visited and was attended to by Stephanie who did my pedicure and wax and Hubert who did my massage and facial. My my what a great experience I had yesterday. From speaking to Ann the spa manager to meeting the receptionist and therapist I was wowed at every moment. The spa is clean, classy and the service is second to none. I have recommended the spa to several of my friends from last night into today Sunday. Thanks for that wow experience windjammer spa and your great team.

It took us 100 steps to get to our room. Then down again to the pools along with incline pavement..3 times a day. We are both fit but what energy it takes in the heat. Rooms needed upgrading. Front door crooked and water seeps in. But it was an RCI Resort so it was fine. We managed. Pool area was gorgeous. Food is very good. Ocean was beautiful. Enjoyed our stay inspite of all the walking.

Loved the dragonfly experience. Especially how will we were treated by the restaurant staff. The manager Benton Morris was our server he was polite and kind and his drink selection of island runs for us novice drinks made us feeling irie. I will be back looking for my new favorite staff member.

This place is amazing, firstly all the staff were so friendly & helpful. The resort was so well maintained, clean and tidy. The beach offered plenty of sunbeds and found booking water activities easy. We booked a sunset cruise with them, had so much fun on board we forgot about the sunset! Plenty of food, drink and fun! Think there was 6 pools in total, we attended the aqua aerobics every morning again this was so much fun you didn't think you were actually working out! Food was lovely and their rum punch wow, you have to try it, I did....quite often! If you prefer a beer, I was told their piton beer is very good too. Would I ever go back? 100% for sure I'd go there again..... tomorrow if I could! this review was based on my 3 weeks I stayed there.

We came with no reservation as we had to cancel our booked vacation in an other place, which was far below our expectations. The staff was very friendly and showed us 3 rooms. We got a nice, recently renovated room with sea view at a reasonable rate. The resort is at a fantastic and quiet location. Breakfast was great! We had a great time here.

We had a great time here. There are mini-buses taking guests to the villas - walking to them involves crampons :) Seriously, the hills are steep. The villas are colonial style and although they're quite old, they're well maintained. We did look at the apartments but we suspect that there would be a fair degree of noise transmission between them so we wouldn't want to stay in one of those. Restaurants are very good - there's a buffet-style place and a couple of table service restaurants serving fresh fish etc. Right at the top of the hill there's a very good Italian. Beach is excellent and there are water sports available, although we just enjoyed the relaxation. A new spa had just been completed. It's a little on the pricey side so we just looked.

Beautiful Resort, great place and I'd recommend. We went with a group, and the rooms were a touch hit and miss. Some of the couples in our group had entire homes with pools as their accommodations. Another couple had a rooftop patio where they could privately enjoy drinks after the day was done and a kitchen for making snacks and food.

We were relegated to what felt like a basement near the entry to the resort with just a bed and a bathroom.

The rooms appear to be a reclaimed neighbourhood that has been turned in to a resort - so it's just luck of the draw.

Other than the rooms, the staff and resort itself was great - staff had a passion and the accommodations were well kept. We would 100% go again.

Great all-inclusive resort. Really no reason to leave the resort, other than exploring the island or local shopping. We have been to many islands and vacation destinations and none of them have anything over Windjammer St Lucia!

If you live in New York, and used to unbelievable,...

If you live in New York, and used to unbelievable, great and tasty food, don t come here.
Food is disgusting. Never order surf and turf, for $50 you will receive a chewy small peace of well well well done meat, and some rice from 1001 year.
They advertise 5 restaurants, only 2 are working.
Another 3 are working tomorrow. Literally they always say it will be open tomorrow, and it s not. It s open 1 day a week and no body will tell you that, get a print out of restaurant schedule right away. ( and don t go there, because food is disgustiiiiiing)
View is beautiful, but some of the villas are soooooo far away. If you are going to take your baby with you with a stroller, be ready to claim stairs with your stroller. And there is only 1 play ground and nothing else to do with your baby. 2 small pools in the main area and some other pools next to villas. There is no space to hang out, like in usual resorts which are kids and family friendly.
Part of the staff are friendly, another part is so confusing.
But if you want to get away with no one around, and be on diet, and enjoy your soul and be in peace with nature, it s a good place to stay.

My husband and I actually just returned home (Kansas) yesterday from a 10 day all-inclusive stay at this resort. We were actually there for our good friends' wedding and decided to make a full trip out of it...and I am very glad that we did. We had an amazing time and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL!
I wanted to list a few of the basic "pros" and "cons" from our trip and our overall experience at the Windjammer. Hopefully you may find some of it helpful!

Pros:
-Very friendly and accommodating staff everywhere we went. From the front desk staff, restaurant servers, bar tenders, to the shuttle drivers...nothing but positive things to say.
-Although there was some construction on one end of the resort (new construction and additions!) overall the resort was very clean, landscaping well maintained, and housekeeping was very thorough.
-Us and a few of the other members of the wedding group we were with received free upgrades to our rooms. We were upgraded to a premium ocean-view room with a rooftop deck.

Cons:
-Only one hot tub. This may seem odd considering it is warm and humid and not everyone cares about sitting in a hot tub. Although it was nice on some of the "chillier" evenings to just have somewhere to go and relax. However, having only one available kind of gets awkward if you're not really in the mood to cozy up next to a stranger. That being said...there are many rooms that offer private hot tubs and pools. We just chose not to pay for those.
-Know that you are on "island time", meaning if you are looking to hop into any of the restaurants somewhat quickly and get somewhere, it will likely not happen. They do take their time and are in no rush. Which didn't bother us most of the time since we were on vacation and not in a rush, but you may have to consider or plan for it if you have somewhere to be or are in a hurry.
-Lastly, the only other comment us and our group would have liked to see was a sand volleyball court. They did have other activities, including pool volleyball, but a sand volleyball court would have been fun!

Excursions we did:
-The Jammer Catamaran Day Sail (Soufriere, Volcano Tour/Mud baths, and snorkeling): Loved it! Staff in the catamaran was fun and energetic and the sites were worth it!
-Buggy "Drive & Fly" (drive your own buggy through the city to see various sites, and end with zip lining in the rainforest): This was probably our favorite! Our buggy tour guide (Whom I so wish I could remember his name!) was so awesome and friendly! And our two guides at the Treetop Adventure Park for ziplining (Matthew and "Popcorn") were also amazing. I only wished we had more cash on us at the time so that we could tip them more than we did!

Side notes:
-Maybe not a Pro or a Con necessarily but there are many cats on the property, particularly roaming in/around the restaurants, who are known to beg for food. They are very friendly, and although I was never bothered by them, my husband is very allergic and had to be very careful to keep them at bay. I would say each restaurant had their own "group" of about 2 to 4 kitty friends who hung around. Again, it did not bother me or most of the people we were with, but just fyi.
-There is a lot of uphill/downhill walking everywhere on the resort, so be aware. But no worries, you can call for a shuttle at any time to come pick you up or take you back to your room.
-The drive to/from the airport is long and winding! I never typically get carsick, but even I got a little woozy on that ride around the island. Everyone I was with held up okay, but if you are easily motion sick just come prepared!

Overall, we loved it and were very sad to leave!

I had an intruder come into my unit that had a very weird setup a door from inside an adjoining unit was somehow compromised and the resort never spoke to the Tennant's in unit A, I begged them to at least ask them some questions and they refused to do so. We were moved to a different villa. They pretended to be interested but I had to check and recheck, and they gave me the run around never apologized or offered and thing to compensate for all the time and hassle. They don't list online that the resort has steps perhaps multiple steps even inside the unit. Once inside the stairs are narrow very narrow and twisty. So find out ahead ask the front Lobby personal although nice are way understaffed and so stinking slow. You can almost be ignored when you need something. The waitresses were always very nice, smiles are not common until you break them down. The restaurants close by 10 or 11, so don't get hungry late.
I would not return unless I was staying in the new modern villa's but run $1800.00 a night.
Your safety is not important according to their Security procedures and standards. The Beach front to get to the hammocks was extremely dangerous over serious rocks and you are given no warning. This place has potential but lacks real interest in its newer patrons. They do care to the elderly who have been coming for 20 plus years.
My advice do your homework and know that pictures can be be deceiving.
The gardeners get A+ for their beauty and demeanor. On the beach I was never asked for any type if bar or food service, don't expect that here.
The sheets were old and worn and it was difficult getting a good night's sleep. The resort has no standards or very low ones.
I warned them what I would say and it did not phase them.
