I've stayed here a few times and love it. The atmosphere is relaxed, company amazing Is the ghost of William Wallace is making sure only respectful people stay here?
Is it threats from the same ghost that ensures it's always spotlessly clean here? Who can tell all I know is I look forward to whenever it next is the spirit takes me back here.

Great Hostel with very friendly, helping and guiding plus advice for what I needed to go visit. The Hostel is located in the centre of Stirling, 2min walk from railway station. The place in a really beautiful old building, all nice and tidy inside. The interior plus the designs gives a warm feeling. Yes it's warm, cozy and peaceful Hostel.
A recommendation it sure is!

Used it for left luggage. Was the only place in town, felt they took advantage of this as prices were very high.

I would not call 30 pounds, for 4 bags for 4 hours a "small" fee. I call that taking advantage of a monopoly.

Cheap hostel in the middle of the beautiful old town located not far from the station very good atmosphere in the lounge and large enough kitchen redesigned and very clean sorted the sanitary facilities over standard breakfast for 3 euros so just bread caffe fruit jam and ..... nothing Everyone must know for me personal. Too simple but for 3 euros you can not ask for much.

One of the very nice hostels I have been to, starting from the hospitality to the flexibility, you can come in anytime using a provided code, free hot drinks, nice view from the terrace, many movies to watch, nice living room with good ambiance, lastly , Sterling is really small but so nice and unique, one night and day is more than enough for it, if in summer, one night will be so fair

I actually loved this place. I was really nervous staying at a hostel considering it was my first time but it was so wonderfully quirky. We had the family room for myself and my 3 kids. It has a double bed and a bunk bed. The facilities are clean. The staff super nice and helpful. My only less than glowing thing to say was the bunk beds are really not comfortable at all but I can understand why they aren't. The double bed is quite nice. I've been extremely impressed. Would stay here again alone or with my family.

Best hostel I ever had the chance to sleep in! The staff are some of the kindest people I've ever met, the place is spacious, super clean, the kitchen is enormous and well equiped and the same applies to the living room. Enter as a client, leave with new friends made!!!

Very nice place with a large kitchen and a large living room. The showers and toilets are clean (unless of course someone dirty has gone before). Great location in Stirling.

My name is Celia Pierina, I went to the Willy Wallace hostel as a volunteer from Uruguay and due to the situation of the Covi-19 they gave us Check out on Friday the 20th at 10 am as if we were clients, without worrying absolutely about us and having missed her own word (we organize, we spend the quarantine together). They just wanted us to leave. The situation was very hard since suddenly everything changed in the UK. I think that thinking only economically without thinking about the virus itself is fatal. Getting to Uruguay was impossible. Flights of more than 40 hours and canceled sections .... I don't know, they could have acted differently. Volunteers from Brazil, Uruguay and Europe with almost closed barriers. It gives to think enough no?

The location is perfect, a 15 minute walk to the chateau and plenty of parking along the road as well as other parking in town.
Very cordial staff. Breakfast will cost you 3 pounds.
The cleanliness of the room and common areas were acceptable, nothing more.
I highly recommend to visit Stirling.

Simple, but friendly place, at the heart of Stirling. My bed was clean and comfty, stuff really nice, I will def going back! ;) The only issue was: loud, drunk people shouting on the street at 2am - well, city center, lot of pubs and bars around,

My first hostel experience. Very very friendly staff, everything was very clean, kitchen and lounge cozy. Centrally located, ideal if you want to get out in the evening. Absolute recommendation.

I had a pleasant enough stay but it seemed overpriced for a backpacker's hostel, even for a private room. The room and facilities felt a little worn, though everything was reasonably clean. The room did not have space for anything except a bed and chair (no desk) and the wifi was very slow. The location was convenient though, just a couple blocks from the train and bus station.

It's worth an experience, idiosyncratic but charming!

We had the double room on the 1st floor without toilet and without shower. Mind you, we had made a mistake when booking and now embarked on this experiment.
Pro - extremely friendly, personable staff who have a lot of wishes such as 2 blankets met immediately, great kitchen / common room with everything your heart desires, towels for 1 pound / piece to borrow, TV in the room, very central in the city, beautiful view of the mountains and the monument.

In the morning / evening, the few toilets and showers are constantly occupied, which makes the otherwise excellent hygiene suffer extremely, the old house creaks incredibly loudly when you walk across the floorboards, you can hear everything from the neighboring room, the doors also like to slam loudly at night to, the northern village youth partied incredibly loudly the entire night, so sleep is out of the question, as the WW is right on Stirling's "hip bar mile".

Conclusion: absolutely fine for one night, it can be exhausting for several days.

This was good for what it is. I got a private double but didn't stay in the hostel much as I had friends nearby that I spent my time there with. The bed was comfortable and facilities clean. There was a bit of noise coming from outside and you can hear every thumping step from people going up or down the stairs in the hostel. My room had a window but not much of a view as it was glazed. Overall I liked the hostel. Great location, comfortable bed (private double room), friendly staff and clean.

Dedicated, friendly staff. Kitchen and lounge are clearly above "hostel-typical" standard. Recommended are flip-flops and earplugs, as (depending on the time) the bathroom can be a bit flooded and the hostel is opposite a very well frequented live band pub. The location itself is top. Right at the beginning of the old town, 100 meters from the train station, supermarket directly across the street. Conclusion: Even if the doors are a bit thin and the floorboards creak a bit, it definitely has its charm not least because of the great staff

Most comfortable bunk beds in any of the hotels I've been to - slept like a baby despite the Saturday night crowd outside (the windows look out on a busy street that has one of Stirling's nightclubs). The room was clean, bright, large with tall ceilings and I never felt cramped. The decor of the room is nothing special, but the common room looks charming and victorian. Absolutely lovely staff. You can get a good deal on prices if you stay a longer time (I've met people who've been around for months!)

A great hostel. Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant. The common room is really comfortable and attractively decorated. It is incredibly close to the station. The showers are a little small but they work well. Definitely recommend highly.

Not worth the stay, wish I could give it minus stars. Cant tell who staff are, if you can they ain't very friendly. It badly needed updating and cleaned. Door doesn't shut properly and window broken. No one around last night when I had a issue with a man in my room and didn't feel safe . Not any good places to get changed. I recommend skipping this place, it's a joke

I only went to the place for their left bag service. It was 5 pounds if I recall correctly. It's the only place in Stirling that I found that does it. I think a hotel there does it to but the definitely weren't lockers at the bus or train station. I checked. I don't like hostels and this one was up a few flights of stairs. I have it 5 stars because for what I needed it was good. It I didn't stay there.

Exceptional location, a little complicated to get there by car and manage parking. Plenty of restaurants, bars and all kinds of shops nearby. The hostel itself is very correct. Several steps to go up to the rooms. The rooms themselves are small and minimalist, but clean and functional. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The common places are good. The rooms do not have a private bathroom. The lunch is rather rudimentary and it was served to us later than supposed.

Spacious hostel, we went to two, and we really found this hostel great! Located in the center, one minute from the train station. A very good hygiene! And the dormitory calm.

I really recommend this hostel!
