I honestly can't believe the experience I had contacting one of your product managers. I don't know if she was having a bad day, or is always feeling "high and mighty", but that is not how you talk with clientele. Appalled. You know who you are J.W.

THe representatives I spoke to were not well informed, in fact were down right ignorant of the policies of thier own company and the company that employed them to manage retiree benefits. They either deliberately lied to me, or gave me incorrect information, resulting in my not receiving the reimbursement funds my company claims to provide to retirees. Then when we began looking into it, they attempted to blaim me. THey have a horrible rating with the BBB, and I'm astounded that the NCOA continues to rate them well. Dishonest and cruel to take advantage of older people.
Via Benefits is a horrible company to work with. I am a 74 year old GE retiree. I am fighting them constantly to pay for my benefits GE has provided for me. Recently was declined for my over the counter insulin I get at Walmart. Submitted like I have for years. Supervisor Janet Dudley told me that Via benefits has been paying me...wrongfully for years. I tried to explain that my insulin is over the counter....did not want to listen. I cannot believe that Via does not have people in place that know what they are doing!!!! I have read my manual and I know that GE guidelines covers my Diabetic insulin and supplies!!! Please can someone please help me?? Someone needs to be responsible!!!
Been here 9 years. It used to be a great place to work, now they want you to do tons of Out-abounds and it s all production-based. They are still a little flexible with your schedule, you do not get raises it has been five years since I have gotten one the company is slowly going downhill.. just turning into another corporation based on production.. yet they make money hand over fist.
You never can get hold of anyone to talk to and if you do your get in touch with a real person, they cant speak English well enough to understand them. Plus they don't understand you. If you are going to do busy in the USA. Hire Americans to work your phones. You people are horrible to deal with. Have been since day one . And I'm positive nothing is going to change. If your own employees do not like working for you, what makes you think we like dealing with you. You are horrendous .
This is the most unresponsive, unreliable, uneducated and despicable company I've ever worked with! They're solely making profits off of people's money that they are hanging on to! "Karma" will come knocking!!!
Great work environment. If you don t want seasonal work, don t apply for a seasonal position because you will get laid off after insurance season. It is a great place to work, you see the same returners that come back every year because of it, but it is a seasonal business with ramp up and layoffs, it s just the line of work unfortunately. Try applying for their non seasonal positions if you want to stay with the company.
A fax machine has been down for at least a month with no alternative options except US mail (regarding medical necessity information)?? Are you serious? I was given the fax # this morning by one of your employees. I do not have a choice to use a different company with my opers retirement. Who is accountable for this debacle? Terrible customer service.
I am writing it as customer of VIA Benefits. They are supporting my account since last 6 months only. It is so unfortunate that I had to call them two to 3 times every month to solve problems.
As a customer I had to assist one of there Customer Service Agent with 3 years experience on how to look at issue I was referring to. I felt Iike, I was training the agent.
At other time I asked another agent few questions. For every question, agent had to put me on hold to find an answer, but even after that there was no answers but agent had a courage to tell me that send us a feedback and VIA Benefits will provide answer(s). I was hoping that agent would write down the questions and would call back after few days with answer. It seems that VIA Benefits have NOT provided such training or in there process.
I can provide many examples, so my recommendation is for people looking for a job at this company should stay away, as the training and experience will not assist you in your growth and progress.
I will change my rating if VIA Benefits Management are willing to review the issues, change the Customer Support Processes, etc. I have my doubts !
