Think my family and I are going to make this our yearly summer tradition! The kitchen staff are sooo polite! The ladies at the store are really sweet!

parking by the dinning hall is a little bit messy. And the beach is a bit crowded when they hold classes there. I was told it s a new location so i am thinking, these things will probably be addressed soon.

Chris R aka Skeletor, was our rafting guide, he was phenomenal! I was terrified at the beginning and ended up having sooo much fun and laughing the entire time! I will definitely be requesting him next year!

NOT family friendly! The "quiet" campsite is across the parking lot from the open air night club blasting music lound enough for a club three times its size. No sleeping here! Kids had inappropriate encounters with drunk then stoned people both nights just trying to visit the gift shop early evening. Can't get to the bathroom without walking through clouds of pot smoke. And the drunken neighbors at the campsites were highly inappropriate. Taking a youth group here was a big mistake. Day trip ONLY.

Best weekend of my life (Aug17-19)! the kitchissippifest was fun, the food was amazing (vegetarian opinion here somewhat made me wish i wasn't one because everything looked soo good) so many different selections there is so many different things and watching everyone bungee jump was even fun me and some friends took the paddle boat out and watched. Our guide (Tom) for rafting on sunday was so much fun he definitely made the rafting experience enjoyable plus it was awesome to learn different facts. My friends and I are already planning our trip for next year and trying to get more people to come some are even thing about doing the kayak classes. I definitely recommend going there!

If you're looking for an adventurous trip in the water, you MUST go with Wilderness Tours Whitewater Rafting! The 12 person raft was great experience. Our guide Zack's teaching style was alot of fun that we were clearly the best raft/team, catching and surfing the Rapids. I have to say, this trip made our Summer! We'll be going next year to try the 6 person raft and experience getting flipped into the river :) enjoy!

great time with Denis the water raft guide!! awesome rapids! sadly disappointed with the facilities and food package. forced to buy a food package even though we had a fully stocked cabin with a kitchen and BBQ. I would have prefered to bring our own groceries instead of being given a timeframe for when we can eat. The food was pretty basic as well, no options and very bland or small portions.

I keep voming bavk here year after year. The rafting/canoe staff are always incredible. Where the facility falls apart is the nickling and diming. The meals are generally of poor quality and quantity. For example: breakfast was two small pancakes, 2 breakfast sausages, and a scoop of packaged fried hash browns. One of the people on our trip does not eat carbs at all, he conveyed this to the staff so they very magnanimously offered him a 3rd breakfast sausage. This was his breakfast before 4hrs on the river. The concern was about limiting peoples helpings, not about fuelling people for outdoor activities. The insult to the injury was the cost of breakfast at over $13! It was included in our rafting trip but that is an atrocious price for such subpar food. The coffee is not even real...it was instant out of a machine. These are small things individually that add up to a big deal over the course of a wknd or week. I would highly recommend bringing your own food or eating somewhere else locally. That being said, for the two days of rafting I can put up with bad food...you are not there for the food but for the fun. The guides are incredible...personable and knowledgeable. The resort staff are far less personable but I suppose their job is more to enforce rules than be friendly. I come back here year after year so they are doing something right. It just irks that for an activity that requires so much energy they really drop the ball on food.

We booked a full day rafting adventure package , however, because of the high water, the Ottawa river was off limits. We ended up not even having to be at wilderness tours until noon, originally was 10:30, then, after waiting around and having lunch, we boarded the bus at 1:45 for a 45 minutes drive to the Petawawa River. At 2:45 we were putting in the river, by 4:40 we were out. The guides were very good and professional, but the money we paid, the 6 hour drive to get there plus a hotel room, I feel we definitely did not get our moneys worth. They were very busy that weekend with a wedding and a tough mudder, but there was no offering of compensation for the change in venue. we paid over $600 for under 2 hours of rafting. We won't do that again.

The rafting at Wilderness Tours is always amazing. The guides are knowledgeable, which makes you feel really safe, but are also so much fun! The food at Rafters is great and the drinks, especially the local brews, are fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Went on the whitewater rafting trip (Extreme Sport Rafting Package). It was a fantastic experience. I am pleasantly surprised to be alive. In all seriousness it was a safe, but adrenaline packed day of rafting, swimming and cliff diving. The lunch (included) was also very satisfying, and I even managed to keep it down while getting through the rest of the rapids. Guide could have provided a bit more instruction but everyone is really nice and it was a great day out.

Whitewater rafting was a blast, did the flip trip and loved every minute of it. Our guide was fantastic. Didn't spend too much time at the resort as we didn't find the staff their too friendly.

I was there with my friends as a group of 4 for gentle rafting route. The trip was a total chore of all of us.

Since we were grouped up with another 3 senior people with obesed shape and low strength, and 2 of the lovely ladies kept complaining people splash water on them. But I don't complain about this, since we all get old. But the guide kept blame on us not work hard, but he was not even bother to help us a little!

However, when we were suggested to swimming in "white water", there was not enough introduction. I got drowned, and got emotional melt down and hypoglycemia. But I had to go back to boat to "work hard", or there would be no where we could go.

I was totally upset with my experience. I will never do this chaotic and dangerous activity even if you pay me money! I will never come back again!

THIS IS AM AMAZING PLACE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. Go on a limited budget and camp, upgrade to a cabin or go deluxe cabin or cottage. You can't go wrong with an all-you-can-eat meal plan that includes STEAK. They also cater to vegetarians.
RAFTING, KAYAKING, BIKING, CHILLING - Set you level of adventure from lazy river to awesome rapids and then chill at the lodge in the hot tub.
Lots of other free activities including beach volleyball, hockey, slide and rope swing.
I think this is one of the best family vacations you can take, doesn't matter if you are 8 or 80, there's fun for everyone.
Cross this one off your bucket list and then do it again.

I'd give them 0 stars if possible. This is by far the worse managed company I have ever dealt with. I will never, ever do business again with Wilderness Tours and I will never recommend them to anyone. Poorly organized, rude, and heartless. My wife and I booked a rafting excursion with this company, and a couple of days before the tour a family member died. The funeral was on the same day as our tour, which meant we couldn't go rafting (obviously we would not miss a family funeral to go rafting). Despite a polite request for a refund, followed by less polite requests after our initial request was denied, we grew increasingly frustrated with the careless attitude management showed us. They even accusing us of making up the family death. I offered to provide them a death certificate, but they still refused to refund us our money.

Had an absolutely amazing time on the August 19th trip #2 doing the classic day trip! Hosting her first all-girl rafting tour, our fantastic guide Devon had unlimited energy, an awesome attitude, was clear in her instruction, and made our boat the best on the river that day! We can't thank you enough Devon for all of the memories you and all of the incredible guides at Wilderness Tours had created for us today. We will be back!

The staff are absolutely amazing. We arrived late and missed supper (which we had prepaid for) and check in, but Marie went out of her way to make us some chicken fingers and get us all settled in. The rafting was great and the river guides are incredible.

Overall not a great experience, the rafting was good but the resort was far to expensive considering what was offered. My stay included a meal plan that included 5 meals that weren't that great and very limited portions. Considering that each meal worked out to roughly $20 they should allow you to have atleast seconds given that some nights they only give a quarter rack of ribs with a small portion of rice and beans. The hot tubs were full of hair and seemed unclean and jets didn't work.

Had wulff as our guide and he just yelled at us the whole time, i was already anxious and he made every rapid seem 200x worse. We only went over 4 rapids yet it took usover 4hours. Shorten the run by sending down smaller groups and it would be alot more enjoyable.

WOW this place is awesome. I went with a youth group and we didnt have anything terrible to say. We camped in their open area. The rapids were fun and the guides were alot of fun. They really played into our fun shanigans. They have a restaurant onsite and alcohol for adults. They also offer bungee jumping for anyone interested. I loved this place so much I will be returning.

We had a blast here. We did the 2 day stint. The water was low enough to hit the main channel both days. Great guides, food was ok... local craft beer (Mmm). Campground was sparse, but we were not there to camp.

Went for Classic Package

Went for Classic Package

Meals included but I would rate them 4/10 (they won t let you cook! You must eat their food)

Staff friendliness 5/10 (half of the staff are great, and the other have not so great)

Environment 6/10 (need better signs & need to mow the grass on campground)

Rafting 7/10 (slow, spend most of the time waiting for the rest of the group and it was only 7 rafts which is considered small group as per leader) rafting staff / leaders were great, river needs more rapids and less calm water but not fault of the WT on this part.

The rafting and time spent on the water was great. The resort could use a bit of work. Quite a few out of order toilets. Food wasn't bad, they had options for vegetarian or non vegetarian. Staff on the water were fun and full of energy. A good time to be had

Rafting was tons of fun, our guide, Sharky, was very knowledgeable and professional. The restaurant catered to vegans well! Cabins were cute, only complaint was the water there smelled like sulfur, so I used the water at the actual lodge. Lots of activities at the lodge; sports, pool, hot tub, games, bar. Great experience.

We did the longweekend package which is the 12 person day 1 and guide your own raft on day 2. Connor, Paulina and Adam were outstanding all were entertaining, informative and skilled. We had such a great time. Also get the pictures way cheaper than any other vacation spot and their awesome. Bungee jumping was a bucketlist challenge that got checked off but you do have to climb 150ft to get to the top, more tiring than I thought. It was an awesome two days of rafting in a beautiful part of the country. Pics were about 2 seconds apart. Thanks Wilderness tours my family will be seeing you again.

Rafting at wilderness tours was great. The guides seemed very knowledgeable and everything went off without a hitch. One thing worth noting is that the intensity of the rapids changes with the waterlevel on the river. The waterlevel was quite low when I went this time and thus the rapids were tame. I would recommend going when the river level is higher ( earlier in the season)

Terrible service experience at registration. The staff was disorganized and rude and tried to pass you off to other staff. The phones took priority even when you were being helped.

Thankfully the rafting instructor was great for the kids!
