Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells Review

The wilderness indoor resort is a great place to visit on a vacation all of there rooms are always clean and the employees are always nice and are never rude.The neighborhood that the wilderness is great and the people that live there are very nice and the food at the wilderness because they have a variety of foods if you want pizza you can get pizza but it is a little expensive they also have a giant Buffet which is cheap and delicious. If you bring kids they have a giant arcade which also is connected to a play area where you can drop of your kids for some fun. And if you have some older kids there is a laser tag area which is very very very fun. But when it comes to the pools you can go to the wave pool which any person of any age will like they have a slide which usually has a 5 minute wait they also have a child area but it is not that big so don't expect your child to like it too much but if you but they do have 2 other indoor water parks which are both children friendly and both are perfect for kids aged 3-18 just make sure if your kids are younger that you keep track of them.

it was fun-filled experience with my family. Lots of fun parks to enjoy as well as dry activities to make a complete day with good restaraunts to end the day. Customer service responded with helpful aid and free arcade points to enjoy. In the end was a fun experience. 4 years of coming and we plan to continue coming!

Verry awesome place lots of activities to do room was really beautiful only complaint is room needed vacuuming better and looked like they rushed to clean it but really fun place to take the family water parks where fun and lots of dry activities as well a little pricey for food but you get what you pay for amazing food and highly recommend the breakfast buffet

I'll just lead off by saying, my stay here was terrible. The room got cleaned 1 time in 3 days, and even then I had to call the front desk and force someone to show up. The waterpark manager was the most aggressive moron I had ever dealt with, he shouldn't be allowed near customers. The food was worse than a fast food restaurants, but 5x the cost. I would take the kids to a Super 8 with a pool before I went back to this place. Anyplace else will be a better choice.

Resort fees. It's another way to charge on top of the already expensive rooms. You stay in the room for 20 hours with check in at 3pm, and check out at 11:00am. Its a very nice resort. Expensive for a family. Long lines and crowded pools.

This place is HUGE, so expect tons of walking but tons to do for kids and adults

The Villas are awesome staff is great check-in is slow but the checkout is quick stay there every year that we go on vacation. The water parks are great as well

Always a great time here. There is too many things to do to list them all. 4 indoor waterparks, 4 outdoor waterparks, zipline, mini golf, laser tag, gocarts, gameroom. Plus everything to do in town. Wonderful vacation spot for the family.

We went there just last year ,, Great place but we will stay in the resort instead of a cabin next time for more convienance . Skiing and many Water rides to keep you busey. Great place for a winter getaway ,

Great for kids and close to walk to pool and magiquest. Great lifeguards at pools. Great slides for kids and families to enjoy together.

Had a wonderful honeymoon weekend, the grounds were well kept and it wasn t loud in the evenings and I couldn t hear anyone above us. The only slight complaint I would have was the jacuzzi tub in our room wasn t as clean as I would have liked, there was a film from bubbles from the previous occupant on the corner of the tub, other than that it was fantastic.

Favorite warp park. Great for my kids ages 13, 15 and 19. Soething for everyone.

Always fun. I wish for more options of cheaper healthy food.

We stayed at the wilderness in a condo on their property for 2 days. It was expensive but better than having 7 people crammed in a hotel room. We were happy to be able to bring our own food rather than having to go out to eat during our vacation. Having a fridge, stove, microwave, and washer/dryer really helped. The condo was huge and had 3 bathrooms which was nice with that many people. The jacuzzi bath was awesome but it would have been nice to have a little thing of bubble bath. All in all it was nice stay, a little expensive, but worth it.

Our entire family went this past weekend over Thanksgiving. We all had a great time! Three indoor water parks along with an amazingly fun ball arena setup for kids. My three year old had probably the best time of the year here. Well worth it.

Kids had a Blast of different activities to do and the nearby Villa Pizza was Delicious. The Candy Shop was even more Pleasure to the Getaway with yummy chocolate covered strawberries, turtle taffy apple, and Smores marshmellow on a stick! Simply

Beware. Maybe a fun water park but we used only one debit card at this resort and have only used it for this resort but somehow no after visiting and using this debit card we now have fraudulent charges from New York. Debit cards are not safe at this business.

Clean! Pools are awesome and easy to get around in the winter.

I have enjoyed the stay and we love coming here every couple of Christmases.

This was our first experience at Wisconsin dells indoor water park. The resort had lot of facilities. Everything was available. Nice rooms with wilderness mixed into each and every aspect of the resort.

Maps were not super clear. The survivor restaurant was delish!!! The swim up bar was good. Wear your walking shoes to get to the different water parks. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfy!

The resort condo has an accessible, zero-clearance shower.

Had a LOVELY time with our family. Additionally, when I left my pillow behind, they called me and mailed it to me, charging only minimum postage. What a fun and kind resort!

Lots of fun, 3 indoor water parks to choose from (being December when I visited those are all I know of). Loved the indoor/outdoor hot tubs. The indoor parks definitely cater to children. Very few large slides and wait times were almost an hr in line. Regardless, our family had a lot of fun.

Had a great time with my kids but was disgusted by the trash everywhere. Seen trash sitting out in the open for far too long as the lifeguards ignored it. The trash on the sides of the lazy river was disturbing too. Nice resort but for the amount of money we spent, I would expect it to be cleaned regularly.

When i went here just last month, i enjoyed the time, the go-karts are very fun, the pools I'd say that the wild Waterdome was the funnest, the rooms were very nice and the downgrade about the room was that the beds weren't Very comfortable but it didn't matter,since we drove here all the way from Minnesota it was GREAT to unwind and swim, and since we were super stiff i liked it, i DEFINITELY would come back and i recommend it to everyone

Didn't have to leave the resort much for fun. Some stuff is overly priced. I don't like how not ALL attractions are included in the Ultimate wrist band, what's the point? Overall my kids loved it. The water parks are totally worth it.

I used to enjoy coming here but over time it does all just get old after coming a few times. and just a warning to the kids who love phones and tv, the wifi sucks it always buffers then plays then stops again and again and the tv only has 58 channels i understand that it would be really expensive to put entended channels because there are so many rooms but when you are staying in a presidential suite and you are also a wyndham owner I don't think 58 channels and poor service is cutting it...

Definitely geared towards families. Food and drinks are on expensive side.

Great Family vacation resort! Nicer than other resorts and it is not open to the public!

Everyone enjoyed our stay here. There's so much to do that I don't think we saw everything. It's perfect for kids of all ages.

Just telling you the gist...filthy rooms, bad food, and a place to get ripped off just a step away, everything is some sort of money trap. I guess that sums up the dells as well.

Love this place. We stayed at the Lake Side Villa with Loft and loved it. The pictures do not do the room justice. It was much bigger than imagined. We are definitely planning on staying again. I have a little one who is shy so we only visited the onsite waterpark which was perfect. It was not crowded and my little one had a great time! If I were to provide an opportunity for improvement it would be that the room was not completely clean (jacuzzi and carpet not vaccumed) and we were missing the broom. The parking lot was not set up for easy unpacking. Our entrance did not have a ramp to push the cart down so we had to walk down the sidewalk with our things to load the car. Lots of cars were pulled over the sidewalk which really made things interesting. Overall was happy with the choice.

This was our second trip to the Wilderness. The first time, I left a really bad review, if I could find it, I'd delete it! I didn't have all 3 of my children with me on the first trip, so we decided to revisit this resort. Excellent vacation! We were able to access each water park, and had clear understanding of the hours. Everyone was so friendly, despite the employees having to wear masks. They were so hot! We will be back, and recommended the Wilderness to friends! A++

Great attractions and amenities. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping forgit a few small things, didnt clean coffee maker or replace coffee, and did not replace toilet paper.

Fun for the whole family. Loves the wave pool. Theme park much more costly than their competitor Kalahari who had great packages to make cheaper

As always great place! Been getting villa for family for the past few times. It is like staying at an apartment with lots of room for the family. At least gives you option to prepare food in the villas.

It's okay, just don't expect any actual wilderness near here. Typical overpriced tourist trap. But great if you have young kids who dig the water park vibe.

I havent even made it to the resort yet and was given bad customer service over the phone for asking a simple question. (can you check in earlier than 4pm). I mean if you are paying $396 a night to stay here shouldnt you be able to check in the same time as their competitors? I cancelled my reservation and will let my company know to not book our team outing here!

We really enjoyed the stay. Our kids loved the waterparks, pools, etc. The only problem was that there was no wifi for the time that we stayed because we stayed at the lower level units. But other than that, our stay was great, really loved our vacation.

Love love love it here! This is our 4th time here since we had our 1st child. So much to do, even in the off season! We will be back again!

Good place for kids and family just wish they let you slide with your little one is more fun and not dangerous

We stayed here for 4 nights I'd much rather stay at the kalahari way easier for little kids if you have teenagers the wilderness is ok for young kids it's to spread out and extremely confusing with long walks to get anywhere also for the money the other resorts in wi dells at least will empty trash or vacuum or make bedding found out here it's only 1x a week

This is one of the biggest and nicest water park resorts in Wisconsin Dell's, there are four indoor water parks and four large outdoor water parks open in the late spring through early fall. The location is perfect right off the main strip of restaurants and stores, Wal-Mart is 7 minutes away, downtown Dell's is about 10 minutes away. The resort is very well maintained and has numerous visitor activities and alot for kids and adults. Go-carts, laser tag, indoor mini golf, ropes course, 4 arcades, bumper boats and more than you could do in a day. Great fun for the whole family, even has 21 and up swim up bar, no kids allowed in that area, overall great resort highly recommend

I have always had a blast coming to the wilderness. I started coming when I was about 13 and I'm now 28 and bringing my own kids back. My daughter has declared that this is the best family vacation we have been on yet and looks forward to coming back probably won't be back for another five years or so until her younger brother is old enough to enjoy it just as much as her but I definitely will be coming back many more times in my life. The wilderness in the Smoky Mountains is also really nice too if you ever go to Tennessee
