Had a great time here. A couple of bumps but that's to be expected when you're in a place filled with tons of other people. Came with some friends to try and beat the heat, and wasn't expecting much (as I'm so used to big theme parks, being from an area where we had many larger parks easily accessible to us) but was pleasantly surprised. All of the staff I ran into that day were friendly, regardless of if they were life guards, concession/food staff, ride workers, even the inspector and a ride operator had a nice little conversation with a friend and myself while we were waiting for the rest of our party who was on a ride.
Security at the entrance could be a little more consistent. My bag was looked through which is fine, while others just walked through with a quick peek in or no look at all. Was told no outside food/drink (which is understandable), while people were walking in with drinks and food clearly brought from home (giant bags of chips, refillable drink bottles, boxes of cookies/crackers, etc.) with nothing being said. It's not the rules that threw me off, just the massive inconsistencies.
Prices are pretty high but that's to be expected with a theme park, whether it's stuff from the gift shop or food/drink from a vendor or restaurant.
The restrooms in the main part of the water park (to the right of the wave pool area) are decently sized, but it would be nice if there was a changing-specific area so you aren't trying to change in a tiny bathroom stall, or taking up a bathroom stall from someone who needs it. But overall a lot cleaner than I tend to expect from theme parks!
Lots of life guards on duty in the water park, which is great. However, had an issue two separate times in two different areas (the lazy river and the wave pool) with younger children hitting/kicking us while in the water - children young enough that they honestly should have been under the supervision of an adult (that's not the park's fault of course!), who were by themselves.
The wave pool seemed to be experiencing problems, with waves being barely anything, but I also see in previous replies that that is a technical issue that is being looked into as well, which is great! I hope to experience the wave pool when it's at its 100% in the future.
Love the rental lockers - even with the smallest locker I could fit a regular sized backpack that had a change of clothes, a towel, and some other stuff in it (basically nearly full) - they're deeper than you expect them to be. I want to say it was around $10 for a standard locker, which is honestly not that bad of a price for a place to store your stuff if you're planning on sticking around all day.
Around a couple of concession stands there did seem to be a lot of bees, and I felt bad for the workers who were trying to serve food while waving them away constantly. Though I see in other replies to reviews that the park is working on getting them taken care of, which is great. I only noticed them around concession stands (notably the Dippin' Dots stand), but the rest of the park was bee-free.
Witnessed a non-physical dispute (for lack of a better word) between security, police, and a visitor. Not 100% sure what was going on as I was trying to steer clear for the most part and only heard tidbits from the yelling guest, but staff present seemed to be keeping their composure pretty well and dealt with the situation while keeping it as down-low as they possibly could.
The fudge from the candy store is great as well! Lots of flavors to choose from. The girls working that day (Aug 7th) were super friendly and wonderful, too!
Nothing SUPER stands out about this place in particular (positive or negative) - a pretty standard experience through and through, but I did have a good time and will more than likely be returning in the coming summers!

This year we won a family four pack of tickets and did not have time to go during the swim season. We opted to wait and do the holiday lights since they had to be used by the end of the year. The holiday lights were a total waste. A lot of the lights were not functioning, we still ended up paying for an additional ticket and parking, which came out to about $30, and if the price was $30 for 5 people all the time, I still would not do it again. It was cold and wet, and most of the rides were shut down which disappointed the kids. There were teens running around trashing stuff and the restrooms were in complete disorder. The wait to ride the carosel was 45 minutes, mostly because the staff was incapable of doing anything at a pace other than slug.
We had been to the water park 3 years ago and it appears nothing has really been repaired or upgraded in that time. Obviously the water park is more fun in the summer, but the winter lights are not worth it at all.

The whole place is amazing. The food, the slides, the rides, the people. The lines are also quite short and you'll have a maximum of a ten minute wait at any given line. The only downside is the prices. When you go to a place like this you wouldn't exactly expect low prices, but still, it seems a little high for where you are. But it is very much worth it, and I recommend that you plan your next family trip or hangout at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park.

Fun place to go as a family or with friends. Tip: if youplan on going more than once during the year, you are better to buy a season pass. It will be around the same price as going twice, but then you can go as much as you want during the year and participate in the Christmas and hallween events they di every year without paying more money to do those events. We got season passes and went many times over the summer. It was definitely worth it.

We have been season pass holders for a long time, I am super disappointed at the level of cleanliness today.. there was garbage all over, all of the rides and steps were sooo gross! people walk around barefoot, it seems they don't care about cleanliness. Safety is my first priority but only right behind cleanliness and I'm disappointed!

The place is really nice during the Halloween, they have 3 haunted houses, they are super cool, and actors are very good. We had so much fun,
In addition to the regular rides which they were between average and good. The water park was closed though which is understood because it is cold.

honestly ,the place was really run down. We felt like there was not enough staff on the water slides or rides which made wait times extremely long. The park wasn't busy when we went midweek but everyone was very inefficient. not many food options, and seemed dirty, Wouldnt return.

We have been to this park probably 4 times in the last 15 years with a big church group. The water is very cold, but feels good when it's hot outside. Make sure to take sunscreen and wear your bathing suit under your clothes so you don't have to squish in the small bathrooms to change. There are lockers you can rent but they go quick.

I worked there this summer as a lifeguard and it was the worst job I've ever had. The leads were always giving the lifeguards attitude and a hard time when ever we had questions, it was terrible. If your looking for a summer job defiantly don't apply there, the pay was 9.32 an hour which I think is crazy for watching out for peoples lives! We are well trained and know what we were doing, but the superiors were nasty towards us, I get it we're all hot it's summer but it shouldn't excuse how they treated us this summer. Save yourself... DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!!

Your very welcome. We had a blast all except for the wipeout we had on one of the slides. We turned down then offer for medical aid at the time but turns out wife had a busted lip and I bruised my eye socket and cheekbone. But then offer was quickly offered and the staff genuinely cared and that is what matters

October is Fright Night. It is a lot of fun. It is not the scariest place I have been to by far but it was still a lot of fun. The non-water rides were still open and the haunted houses were well done. They even had a boo-ville if you had small children where they could go and play games and do arts and crafts.

My husband and I took our 6 year old and her 7 year old cousin for their first trip to Wild waves for my daughters birthday and it isn't an inexpensive venture but she really wanted to go. For what it cost, I at least expected what is advertised as available rides and food, but I was very disappointed to learn, once we were at the park, that several rides were closed, then the pretzel trucks closed at least an hour and a half before the park closed and the candy shop that advertises cotton candy, fudge and caramel apples, sells cotton candy not fresh but rather in prepackaged bags from the same maker you can buy at a dollar store only the candy shop charges 4.99. The candy shop was also down to about a pound of 1 type of fudge that was so dry it was likely a couple days old and they were out of caramel apples by 7 and weren't willing to dip more even though they had a bowl of caramel sitting on the counter next to 4 freshly dipped apples that were already sold. The staff appeared poorly trained, many of them couldn't even give directions to a map or a particular ride. Overall the girls had fun but there were disappointments for them and us but the park still made their money.

I haven't been in a few years. We used to get season passes for years but they "fixed" the wave pool with very low powered motors and the waves don't get half as high any more, the staff is lazy, and often parts of the activity pool and hot tubs aren't available due to no staff on hand or something else. The wave pool and activity pool are where we spend most our time but when they aren't fun or accessable it's just not worth it. the Halloween and Christmas light events are awesome.

Great place. Go early. Lines can get long and the park can get crowded on hot days. Very expensive and parking is expensive to. If your planning to go and you have a large family it is just more cost effective to purchase the season pass and parking pass. For me and my daughter I paid 85 dollars not including food and drinks and that was because I brought my tickets on Groupon. It is also not a disable or handicap friendly place. There is no special lines for people in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. So if you have mobility issues please be expected to stand on long lines and wait. We did enjoy ourselves. We would go again.

Wild Waves "Fright Fest" was the worst Halloween e...
Wild Waves "Fright Fest" was the worst Halloween experience I've ever had. It was $33.50 for a ticket inside and $15 to park, so for just me it was essentially 50 dollars to enter. Together my group collectively spent almost $190 just to enter the park. We went to fright fest hoping for an actual scare. Instead we spent from 8pm until 10:30 in a single line for a 3 minute "haunted playground" which basically consisted of a bunch of people dressed as clowns and covered in blacklight paint, looking at us with expressions like they had to go poop or something. We got to experience one other line, for the roller coaster across from the haunted playground. We spent 30 minutes in that line for what was 45 seconds of roller coaster. I think you can sense my excitement. So... From 7:30pm when we arrived, to just before 11 when we left, we spent over 3 hours in line, 10 minutes walking in and out, and 6 minutes actually having fun. Very "Wild" indeed.
Wild Waves - you need to allow more people through per attraction, have more attractions, AND have those attractions actually be scary. Also, For a nearly 200 dollar outing, you need to inform people that the lines are a quarter mile long at the ticket selling booth, so we customers can make an informed decision about purchasing a ticket. and that if you actually want to go in a haunted house, you will either be waiting for hours, or shelling out more money for the "vip pass" - to which I heard one of your employees dressed up as a clown outside say to some people casually passing us in vip "welcome back" - so they had been through once already. It is called Fright Fest, and the only thing I was actually afraid to do is stand in a nearly 3 hour line. I expected much better. Step it up next year.

I won t come here again. The entire place was under construction and when I asked for a front of the line pass I got sent to will call to wait in line for them to tell me they don t have them. The food was overpriced and nasty. The lifeguards were rude too. Don t recommend.

I have always loved Wild Waves, but I went yesterday June 26th, and it was the worst experience in my entire life. The park was crowded, and because they refuse to do any expansions on the konga river, the line was at least 2 hours long, they do not have heat relief rubber mats, so we couldn't stay in line because our feet were burning. We went to the activity pool, and it was egregious! The way the activity pool is, it is very dangerous going in there, because where kids are jumping, other kids are swimming back to shore, and for slides that are much safer they had sticks, but for jumping into 9 feet of water, a person just needed to be a "strong swimmer" which is a marginal judgement! Just before my boyfriend went down, an obviously to small child went down this slide and nearly drowned, the mom saving her. The life guard did jump in thankfully, but it was still worrisome! My boyfriend went in front of me down the steep black slides, had the wind knocked out of him as he hit the water at such a bad angle, and ended up close to drowning. He came up gasping for air, waving his arms at a life guard, and not a single one jumped in. I went down the same slide after him, and ended up hurt, in which I also nearly drowned because i hit the water so hard, it hurt my left leg, and I barely made it to the top. As I struggled to get to the rope, i also was waving my arms and ended up getting yelled at to "get off the rope". Again, I tried signaling to them, but to no avail. My boyfriend, who at this point was turning blue from having difficulty breathing, had to help me in, a too far distance from the slides. As we made it out of the water, we sat, hurt and both shaken, my boyfriend still blue! and just after, one life guard yelled to another, "Hey pay attention! these kids are jumping on top of each other!" It ruined the rest of the day. It didn't help that we had only been in the park for about an hour, this if course after standing in line from 10 o'clock until noon. We didn't get to go on a single ride, and it was slam packed with people (understandably so, we knew it would be). It was overpriced, and with so many people it is understandable the lifeguards would be overwhelmed. Lockers are overpriced, food is way overpriced and bad, and it is simply a horrible place to spend money to go to! I will never go back here, and if you want to keep your children safe, do not go either! Also, don't use the honey buckets, they are maybe cleaned every other week!

I went just last Monday and honestly it wasn't that bad. There were just a few issues: 1. They need to fix the rides! While I was there, Lumberjack Falls got stuck 2 times and apparently the day before that, it got stuck several times as well. The Timberhawk also got stuck several times. The little airplane ride also got shut down as well. 3. The cement is TOO HOT! It sucked transitioning from one slide to another and one water ride to another. It has been that way for several years! 3. The food is kinda overpriced and so is the stuff in general.
4. There were a few rides that were closed (which sucked) :/
On a positive note, the lines were short (i didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes), the food was delicious, the lockers are awesome, the staff is friendly and my huge group of family (plus my almost 2 year old toddler) still have fun! I used to go every year and i did it for 6 years straight and this was the worst experience i have ever had so overall, the park was not that bad. Just be sure to bring flip flops or some kind of sandals!

Decent park. I would not say it's the best by far. Their staff are disconnected. They all act like they don't want to be there. Shoot, most of the time I've been there they have rides closed and only open them a couple hours or even an hour before closing. They took down a good ride for a boring ride. The lines are hideous. Think Disneyland type of wait. Took me one time 45 min to ride one slide. Wave pool has become dull after the death of a patron a while back. Used to be bigger waves but is now small. Don't get me started on the walking path. I have to wear shoes no matter what to walk there. Their paths are either dirty or hurt to walk on. Can't tell you how many times I see poor kids and parents walking like their feet are on hot coals. The park is in serious need of re design. Their mountain due sponsored ride only has two slides that are ok. Barely anyone wants to ride one of the slides. They do better at hosting the fright night than they do at being a water park. Wooden roller coaster is awesome. They fixed the whiplash you'd get on the yellow coaster finally. Can't tell you how many times I complained about that and nothing was done until recent. All this being said, since it is the only amusement park that you can go too (without getting a room aka great Wolf Lodge) it does eh at best. If I could afford driving across the state to Idaho or even Oregon I would in a heart beat besides go here. Keep that in mind.

This was my first visit to Wild Waves. There was food and drink available but I brought a picnic lunch instead to save on money and have healthier choice. I did not know we could bring our own food in and picnic on the grounds, we picnicked in our car like a lot of other people. After lunch I saw there were areas to have your own meal. I will plan better next time. I was a bit frustrated that they ran out of bottled water at one stand and were plentiful at another leading us on a wild goose chase. All and all, it was a wonderful family day.

Fun place to go. Was a little expensive for my taste but reasonable. You do have to pay for parking. I suggest that you might want to go on the roller coaster side first and finish with the water park last. That way you dont have to bring extra clothes or walk in wet cloths. Be prepared on a busy day to wait in line to go to the bathroom by the water side due to people wanting to use the bathrooms to change even though there are changing rooms located elsewhere. They have security checking bags and a metal detector at the entrance to get in. Not sure if that is all the time.....

The amusement park I have no complaints. But the water park was terrible. Most slides were closed. The slides were at least an hour wait. I felt bad for the little ones that waited that long, to be turned around at the top to be told they couldn't ride because they weren't tall enough. They should be measured at the bottom.
