They are not equipped for a large quantity of customers during hot days. Due to lack of tubes the wait for one was 2 hours. My child was skipped because he had to ride with an adult and there were too many kids behind him that could ride alone. The employees spoke quietly and too quickly to understand. Overall a bad experience. I don't recommend it.

First and foremost, the rides here themselves are very fun. That is the only reason I am giving this place two stars. The rest of our experience was awful! We had purchased our tickets online weeks beforehand, and actually booked a hotel JUST to spend a day at this amusement park. When we got in, there were only about three or four rides open total, not counting waterslides. We went to guest services and they showed us a list of about TWENTY-FIVE rides that would not be opening at all that day! Over half the park was closed. They had no notice at the entrance of the park, no online notice, and they wouldn't offer us refunds. Employees were extremely rude as well, especially the guy running the Paratrooper ride during the later part of the day. He waited to start the ride for ten minutes just so that his friend would bring him a Pepsi, and kept yelling at four year olds for touching the fence near the ride. Absolutely awful; don't go here!
terrible lineups for food. every booth. we waited 20 minutes for a slice of pizza for $5.00 only 3 were served. 8 people ahead of us, i went to the guy and politely asked why so slow, he said 1 guy on cash, 1 guy making the pizza, we gave up. this whole park run very poorly. decided to go for a swim pool like a cess pool. overpriced but I guess if you live local and want to throw your money down the toilet, speaking of toilets, way too few and filthy. There was so much more but trust me, go to a real theme park where its run professionally. Will never come back.
Lots of fun for many different ages. Brought my 4 year old and there were plenty of things we were able to do together. Relatively clean and pretty well maintained facilities. Overall had a great time with my family.
Pay for a Cabana it's important. I brought my nephews and the Cabana really helped give us a central place that wouldn't be taken by someone when we moved around all day. A place for them to have melt downs and for me to sit in the shade.
bit understaffed on some days, bit overcrowded on others, but on the good days the lines are short, can often marathon rides, food is priced reasonably, very nice staff, and the rides are fun! Lockers are pricey, and the operations on the coasters aren t very good (timberhawk could add another train), but it s the smoothest wooden coaster I ve ridden, tied with mystic timbers as the smoothest. The wild thing is a little rougher, but is definitely a more tolerable arrow looper, at least in the back row. Overall, it s a good and definitely underrated park. The only thing keeping it from being a 5 for what the park is, is the lack of staff on some days, the ride operators are very slow on operations (but it s slightly forgivable since they re incredibly nice), and the lockers are overpriced. Overall, good park, great for something regional, but it could use a couple new thrill rides. It s been 15, soon to be 16 years since a new coaster, and something with airtime would be nice (maybe a eurofighter or a MACK coaster that goes all around the forest. Hell, even a raptor if they re feelin a lil spicy).
$15 to park, $34 per person online ticket. Paid extra for a villa so we could escape crowd.
Villa came with lunch included. They had to run to warehouse to get the lettuce for our salad. Said it would take 10 mins. It took an hour.
Local radio station showed up, and set up right outside our Villa. LOUD does not describe it. I get it, they need to broadcast sound throughout park. Had I'd known, I would have not rented Villa.
Very fun. Lots of water sides, all the necessary rides. A great wave pool, two different lazy Rivers. Super crappy overpriced food, but other than that we always have a good time. I recommend going on not so hot days, there hardly any lines
Honestly, there aren t a lot of things to do here. The workers are rude, prices are RIDICULOUS, and all the food is garbage. You spend probably $100 per person if you come here including tickets and food. I came here with 2 other people and the tickets alone were $158. That s ridiculous in my opinion for somewhere that s not that fun. They pulled EVERYONE out of the wave pool TWICE because they had to go CPR TRAINING! Not even a real emergency and everyone was on for about 30 mins each time. It s DUMB. don t go here. It s not that great
This is mostly a Water Park as the theme park is really small and not that thrilling. We went at a time where it was only $17 for admission for both parks so for the value, it was a great deal at that price.
Your not allowed to go between the parks. If ur wearing a bathing suit then the amusement park side will ask u to leave. All the games are extra and there's only about 2 food stations. Half the rides are down and under construction when I went in September of 2018. And the lines take about 15 mins each. so if it's cold or windy ur screwed and ur going to freeze.
It was our first time there! We went on a Sunday afternoon..beautiful weather, no long lines at any of the attractions and it was not overly crowded! I disliked having to pay $10 to park after buying tickets for the 9 of us and I did not care much for the food! Overall a nice day at the amusement park!
Today (September 4, 2017) was our first experience at the wild waves water park. Our two children were excited about the wave pool, but when we arrived today, the workers told us the wave pool was closed because of mechanical failure. Nothing was advertised on the website about this problem and since we already paid for parking, we decided to go inside. Our two children wanted to play in the kid s water park area and within 20 minutes, this place closed due to pump failure! We waited for hours and finally gave up and went home around 3pm. Our two children were extremely disappointed and we as their parents were also since nothing was advertised on the website and our entire purpose of going to wild waves was closed due to mechanical failure, but we paid and went inside anyways since nothing was mentioned on the website warning us.
Very disappointed after paying full price for a family of four to visit plus parking...Many rides were closed, we waited in long lines for a few rides only for them to break down or need maintenance once we reached the front of the line. The water slide lines were so long that you aren t really able to get enough rides in to make it worth it. My daughter was on the smaller slides and went down several times only to later be told she was too tall. Overall a disappointing family trip.
Had a great time but I really wish the walkways were paved better or even some type of cushion because going from water ride to water ride hurts your feet so bad. Rocks everywhere and it's like walking in a parking lot barefoot.
The park is ok, it has a few decent rides and most of them were open. Restrooms are super dirty, some of them are label as wheelchair accessible but that is it, just the access because the stalls lack of grab bars and the attachments to make them fit for guest with disabilities... The food kiosks are understaffed...making lines long even to get a soda. Most of the employees are teens that probably didn't get the right training on how to effectively run operations in a food stand or kiosk so be extremely patient in the long lines or walk back to your car and consume whatever you have in there and then come right back in. The park lacks of the joy or mood life of an amusement park.
Extremely over priced and terrible balance of supply and demand. They can't even figure out how to have guests enter the parking lot smoothly. About a half mile before the park entrance, two hours after opening, the lines started and didn't die down till the last hour. Not enough lockers or inner tubes, for a price not even mentioned on line. No discount when the cheaper ones are sold out. The majority of employees are rude, probably because they're underpaid. I know, I used to work there and I know the owners. Only worth it if you get a season pass and live close per go at least three times. Wild waves is a Disneyland wannabe with a water park.
Very expensive for what it is. You're paying SeaWorld/ Six Flag prices and it isn't worth it. I realize it is a summer job for a lot of higuschoolers, but they didn't want to communicate efficiently at all.
Thank you gate keepers, lifeguards, rides staff, managment, security, baristas, and cooks. You do a good job at keeping the kids safe. MOST if you, have the patients of saints with all the customers.
To the kangaroo ride staff, need to remember to be kind to all, friendly, polite, stern as needed, and safe. Most of your riders were children.
The kids love the rides and waterpark! It's always a hit taking them here in summer months.
Cool slides & rides. The thing I didn't like was waiting in long lines for the water slides, I waited for 20 mins for one of them! Kind of ridiculous if you ask me, but whatever I guess. The food is expensive too.
Just went and we cant get there enough. Water slides were updated and are awesome kids age 8 and 11 love them. Rides in the same park make it a day that passes by before you know it. Food is spendy and you cant bring any in but luckily you can go out and get a stamp to get back in so we have ate in car and went back in. Definitely worth going though. Water is Warm and lifeguards are always ready to help, my son didn't need help but they thought he struggled and jumped in with a float to give him in deep waters just incase.
Everything was great except a lot of the rides were closed. Sometimes it seemed they were closed just because they are short of staff. My son was very disappointed that the scrambler was closed (for maintenance I was told, even through it was Saturday). Then they closed the Ferris wheel before we had a chance to go on it. If I had known, we would have ridden it sooner, of course, but how could I know?
Holiday Lights is fun! Rides at night in the winter! It was rainy when we went, so no lines whatsoever. Be prepared to get wet and cold though :) I wish there were better food options and coffee/hot chocolate stands.
Good fun for the family. Lots of life guards around all of the water attractions. Wave pool is heated which is really nice. Water slides are fun. They have hot tubs scattered around. Lazy river is good slow relaxing float. They have a place for the adults to get adult beverages, arcades for the kids, food is fair priced and not all that bad. The roller coasters and other rides are well maintained and fun. They also have cabanas for rent which look nice.
Lazy river needs more floats. The wait was AWFUL. There were tons of room in the river for more single/double floats but they used only so many, so we ended up waiting in line for 40mins. If the wait is so long, of course no one wants to give up her/his floats easily, so the people in line just stay in line until someone in the river feels guilty and gives up her float. The more floats in the river, the less wait time. But Wild Waves also knows, the less floats, the more money they'll get from rentals. ($10 per single float) I couldn't believe why they didn't want to bring out more floats to shorten the wait time of the customers.
Went to Wild Waves for my sons birthday. The kids that work the burger and fry stand seemed beaten down by life already. Very attitude-y. Big tumbleweeds of hair in the wave pool beach area (behind the yellow line) that I saw multiple lifeguards and WW employee s walk by. Maybe have some gloves close by ? Also dirty bandaids in the wave pool. Seems like, maybe those could be fished out when everyone vacates the pool? Just an idea. Bees! Tons of bees! One kid stepped on a bee and got stung. Luckily he wasn t allergic.
I've been to Wild Waves a few times over the years for different events. It's a lot of fun there. They need more places to buy food in the food is not cheap. I like the fact that they make you go through security before you can check in to the park to play. The parking is not free and I don't feel they should charge you for parking.
