Alittle disappointing as it took an hour for our meal to arrive. Smoked salmon canneloni contained very little salmon for the price. The setting is lovely and the staff were very nice.

Brilliant food, great atmosphere, friendly & helpful wait staff.

This one really not that much as some say, nice setting in a nursery, bit dear for what they serve... Good service.

The service is appalling, the booking system is broken, lots of mistakes and a very unpleasant atmosphere of being pressured to eat quickly and get out, so we can turn the tables over as fast as possible. The stress levels of the young man at the door permeated through the entire cafe, as if I had offended him by simply showing up for my booked table. The upper management need to be held accountable, and support and train their staff to handle the service and restore this establishment back to its former glory, because at the moment it is a train wreck.

Incredibly rude front of house! Pretty poor to us, but couldn't believe how rude she was to other people coming in as we left, I would have walked out if I were them! Food ok.... overpriced for some dishes, not to bad for others, but $100 for lunch (no alcohol) for 3 people was a little pricey in my opinion.

We had the weekend special of confit pork belly and it was delicious. The service was lovely and it was so nice to finish our double date by having a walk through the nursery.

Good place for families and kids especially on Sundays.

Visited Wild Canary last Sunday with a group of friends and ordered the Gardener's Breakfast with a request of extra soft boiled eggs. After a reasonably long wait, we received our meals. The portion sizes and presentation were great, however after starting my meal, I noticed an egg shell on the side of my poached eggs (as seen on photo). On top of that, all 6 of our eggs (3 dishes) were well overcooked, unfortunately resulting in a very dry dish. On the upside, the kransky, relish and iced mocha were the definite highlights of my meal. Very unfortunate visit, not sure if I'd return again.

Have tried 3 different home meal options from Wild Canary in the past week and they are delicious, affordable and incredibly nutritious. Thank you!

The location is beautiful and relaxing living up the road it feels like home but if you want to get a feel for the area this would be a great place to stop. The food can be hit and miss sometimes it's awesome sometimes not and they lose a star for such limited options and farting with the menu all the time, oh and service is average too. Having said that I still visit regularly so take that how you will.

We travelled from the Northside to try this cafe. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful with beautiful gardens and lovely staff however the food was not very good at all. Very expensive. It cost us just over $100 for lunch for myself husband and 2 kids meals a very small glass milkshake and a small glass of pressed pineapple juice and a coffee. The market fish had some weird ingredients in it. Very bland and tasteless with hard black rice. Not enjoyable or pleasant at all for $36. Husband had something weird also. under seasoned foid. He didn't eat all of it. Not sure what he was eating actually. Kids chicken was over cooked and dry. A little dissapointing. We won't be back unfortunately.

We attended to celebrate my partners birthday and I must say it was fabulous.

They coffee that I had was a delight and my granola was a taste sensation. The staff were all very polite and the service was prompt.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves locally sourced food and a vibrant menu.

Lovely place adjustent to a nursery. Great choice of lunch dishes and freshly baked crumbles and cheesecakes. Very popular. Great service.

Absolutely love Wild Canary. Recently had my sister's baby shower in one of their private function rooms and can't thank them enough for how helpful and friendly they were. The food is delicious and fresh.

note. lettuce is lettuse not garden greens.

What an amazing place! I needed a last minute birthday cake- I called up on Sunday arvo and ordered a Vanilla Sponge Cake for pickup on Monday morning. The staff were very friendly and flexible. Monday arrives, and the cake is absolutely stunning! Not only does it look incredible, it tastes delicious! I am blown away by their fast delivery and extremely high quality baking.
We also ordered the Braised Red Wine Lamb Navarin for takeaway and it was so yummy! Very generous portion size and good value.
I would highly recommend Wild Canary to anyone looking for a gorgeous rustic cake or some great food! Thanks so much guys! :)

Always a lovely atmosphere, set in the beautiful gardens behind the nursery. The food is presented beautifully and in excellent proportion. Book early as spots for breakfast fill up quickly.

Cafe is set at the back of a garden centre. Book for weekend if you want a table. Good menu and excellent service

We ordered our engagement party cake from here and it was amazing. Beautiful and delicious!

I chose to go to Wild Canary for my birthday on Monday 23rd December. When the meals came out the waitress lost balance of plate knocking a full cup of coffee all over me which soiled my shorts and went all over new pair of birkenstocks. She apologised and moved us. I thought maybe they might give us a small discount or even a free coffee but that was not the case. Disappointed with the service
and attention to detail. The food was ok. A bit overpriced.

I love this place and visit frequently. The food is always delicious and looks beautiful. The service is exceptional and it is lovely to wander through the nursery

Beautiful setting and great food.
Even on a cold windy winters day we were warm next to heaters and throws to keep us cosy in the outside patio.

From the garden to your plate. Lush space to indulge your senses. Cakes are truly something else in this place, and you will pay accordingly for it. Prepare to be spoilt, you will enjoy creative and genuinely organic food.

We recently livestreamed a wedding at Wild Canary, and I would highly recommend this venue! The venue is beautiful and the staff are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond, have great communication, and will definitely make sure your wedding or event runs perfectly! We hope to have the opportunity to come back to this venue and for anyone looking for a beautiful spot to get married and have their reception with impeccable service, I would recommend Wild Canary.

Food was wonderful and waitresses were fantastic and genuine! However, the occasion was dampened before we got our meals. The man who was the manager at the front counter was brisk and condescending. He created a really pretentious atmosphere. It s particularly poor form because if he is the manager I d assume that he would be the first to criticise his staff if they were to treat customers as he did. Very disappointing and an obvious example of a manager believing they are above the rules of hospitality! It s always upsetting when the young staff try so hard and do a great job but it s overshadowed by a poor manager.

Taste wise, amazing food, couldn t have asked for more in that aspect! The cake is also beautifully decorated and is an absolute stunner.

However, as a previous review stated, the service wasn t the best as we experienced a similar situation where we were basically told to go along our merry way when the waiter just took our plates without even asking if we were done.

If you don t mind being rushed off, it s a great place :)

We had breakfast here for Valentine s Day.
We are locals and have been here many many times.
But today the Man (sounded French) who was managing and at the cashier post was absolutely fabulous.
A first class hospitality professional and as a result the waiting staff were extra courteous and attentive.
We have had times were this can be hit or Miss for some reason but we let it go because the food is delicious, the cakes works of art, and the surroundings simply stunning.
I want to recognise the staff on this day and say Thank-you for making our valentines breakfast very enjoyable and memorable.
This is a beautiful setting and a special place especially if you love good coffee, divine cakes and to be surrounded by lush greenery and exotic majestic plants.

Setting is beautiful, breakfast menu is a bit weird and in reality overpriced. I specifically asked for soft poached eggs and they turned up totally hard boiled. Suppose I was just disappointed for the price.

This is a lovely place. The cafe is accessed by walking through one of the nicer garden centres I've been to (and I was able to find some of the less commonly available herbs I've been looking for), and there's plenty of parking.
Cafe staff are friendly and attentive, the decor is lovely.
Food was of a fairly high standard. I had the zucchini flowers and they were perfect. My friend's farm plate (? Name, some kind of teaching platter) was ok, but nothing special.
I bought several slices of their spectacular cakes to bring home and look forward to these.
It was so very hot there, though (36c). We were pleased to be offered a table inside with some air conditioning (we hadn't booked, and on a Tuesday lunch it was quite busy), however had to move as one of our close neighbours was eating prawns and my friend is highly allergic. The staff were very accommodating, and moved us down to another area which was much hotter.
I'd recommend this place, suggest you book, and maybe take along a little fan on hot days.

Have been here twice in the last few weeks ... yep had to go back a second time as it was JUST THAT GOOD! ... have to state that I am only talking the brekkie menu at the moment, as have not had lunch there, but the food (get the big breakfast ... its delicious!) was just fantastic!
Staff were wonderful, and its lovely to sit in the gardens with the heaters on all around (and yes the blanket if needed!).
Surrounds are great and the coffee is nice and hot as well ... which is so very important and so many places get it wrong!

Cannot recommend Wild Canary highly enough for breakfast ... may have to go back again and try the lunch menu! ... Oh, it may be a little highly priced ... just bare that in mind when you go though!

Great food. Lovely nursery, thank goodness I don't live close would probably go broke.

My husband and I are fans of Wild Canary for life. We had our wedding at Wild Canary, a small intimate affair and it was the perfect day. Event coordinators Kate and Claire were superb. From the first time we walked in to meet them, we knew we were in good hands and they were people who actually cared about us as a couple and got to know us, not just another number to push through like some of the other venues we looked at. They were so easy to work with, responsive, accomodating and helped us through every step of the way. Wild Canary also shared a lot of our values, for example cutting down on waste and emissions, and they take their food seriously - not only is everything incredibly delicious, but is sourced locally and some of it even grown in their kitchen garden! We've watched the kitchen staff on several occasions come out to the garden and snip some herbs and greens, so we know that it's not just lip service. We married underneath the gorgeous epic Morton Bay fig tree, surrounded by flowers by the incomparable Lynn at Fig Flowers. The service the day of the wedding was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the cake - oh the cake. Stunningly decorated and it tasted even better. All the guest were saying that it was not only the best wedding cake they've ever had, but the best cake, period, they've ever had. Every detail was perfect and we owe it all to them. We cannot thank them enough. If you're thinking about having your wedding at Wild Canary - or even just going for brunch (have I mentioned that the food is incredible?) you will not regret it.

Breakfast for two. Exceptional both meals. Porkbelly with pumpkin hommus sourdough bread and poached eggs and then wafles with salted caramel ice cream.

Disappointed, my partner and I would travel to the Wild Canary frequently but upon our last visit we were extremely disappointed with the smaller serving sizes and over the top prices. It's good, but it's certainly not that good. There are better places than this!

Although we had to drive a bit further inland to get here, I could see why this place is so popular! To start with, the gardens brightly welcome you in. The menu is so special and they don't disappoint. Would return and recommend.

Had a beautiful breakfast experience with eight friends this morning. Food was amazing with the best coffee in Brisbane. As well, the great service and natural surrounds easily make this very special place one of my favourites.
Have already booked for my mother's day!!

Try it You Won't regret it

Excellent breakfast and atmosphere in the gardens is unparalleled. Lower priced options if you don't want a $20 breakfast. Coffee is amazing. Walk around the nursery, too. Parking is tight on a Saturday but not inconvenient.

I most definitely recommend eating at wild canary. it's one of my top places to have breakfast in brisbane. the menu constantly changes and is fantastic value. it's always presented beautifully and always delicious. it does get busy so it's a good idea to make a booking.
