It's a gem. This small historic concert hall has a vibrant series of concerts, including affordable coffee concerts on Sunday mornings. There's a nice bar downstairs which has coffee and croissants before the concert.

An old establishment with a history of gold, continuing to showcase some of the world's greatest western art music performers.

The architecture is beautiful and the decor in the hall is special.

The seats aren't terribly comfortable for a tall/large individual like myself, but the little discomfort is not as bad once the music starts.

It was a very imposing performance hall with quaint aspects to the decor. The clientele was dominated by a homogenous demographic and socio-economic background, but this is not the venue's fault. The cafe was lacking any hot drinks due to the lateness of the performance interval but the ice cream in the concourse compensated very well. I would have liked to have seen the pianist page turner get an applause but this position was not afforded this opportunity. I followed up with an email which was responded to very well, acknowledging that this isnt part of the protocol, but the gratitude would be relayed onto the page turner. All in all, a satisfying evening, especially if you want to do something different with a casual classical musical performance.

A London classical music tradition. Beautiful music, played by some of the best musicians in the world, in an exquisite concert hall. Affordably priced, and comes with a cuppa at the end (or glass of sherry). Well worth a couple of hours on a Sunday.

Great experience. Hall not too busy. Every one is polite and helpful. A special afternoon, listening to some wonderful classical voices. I highly recommend for classical music fans.

A beautiful central London chamber music venue. The hall is small but elegant, with red marble walls and an impressive mural above the stage, depicting the personification of music. Most importantly, it has perfect acoustics. Wigmore Hall runs a full programme with events on every day/evening, mainly classical chamber music, but also late night concerts, jazz, talks and workshops.

A very nice looking venue with good sight lines to the stage. The main auditorium is well decorated.

Sound quality is very good for music performances so highly recommended for gigs etc.

Drinks in the bars are at the top end of the normal price bracket (quite expensive), but the bar service is both prompt and friendly.

I have to confess it's years since I went to a concert here in spite of amazing programme of events (must get my act together). I love the basement restaurant as a place for a quiet drink surrounded by walls of wonderful drawings of musicians.

My classical concert going, only began 4 years ago. In that time I have visited done wonderful venues, but none better than Wigmore Hall.
The Hall suits chamber & solo concerts best, and the acoustics are superb, whenever you sit. The small balcony has great sound for instance.
It is also a beautiful building, with a unique, intimate atmosphere.
Programmes are informative & well priced, and the staff are invariably lovely.
