Great idea. Apps kept me updated during event, even after event..
I was on the "checking in people" side of the Whova. It was so quick and easy. We checked people in, in less than a minute. Attendees commented on how fast we could check them in. I would recommend this application for conferences.
I used the app during the Neurips 2019 conference.
From social meetups, to user communities to agendas integrating with my Google calendar - love the app!
This was an incredible tool as I connected with other attendees, and people joining my presentation. It's a brilliant way to see who is attending and what their specific roles are.
I ve been to dozens of events that have associated event apps, like trade shows, conferences, etc. I ve got to say that I was blown away by Whova! It's the best event platform I ve ever used for an event.
Very user friendly app. Found it to be useful during and after the event to contact attendees.
really enjoyed using it and fond it really useful to use as a netwroking tool and keep updated with organiser announcements!
Great, easy to use app. I am not going to repeat other reviewers but it does create a flawless event and in-app messaging creates networking opportunities as well.
The App was really handy and made it possible to not carry around a bunch of paper to keep track, not to mention the ease to check any updates. I loved it! Very easy to use. It is a great tool. Thanks!
I used the Whova App during NeurIPS 2019. It was really organized and really helped me navigate and plan my conference better.
WHOVA allowed our conference to be virtual with sessions, q&A, community chat sessions b/w participants, and we even had 3 mini concerts with Aaron Watson as our last performer!
Whova was a very user friendly app. We had a great time at the virtual conference and Whova just made it easy.
I really enjoyed using Whova. The conference I attended was easy to view and had really great content. I was able to view speakers at a time that was convenient for me. I got quite a few e-mail reminders of the speakers and the agenda was easy to view. I only wish they had recorded the live sessions that were part of the conference I attended, because the schedule was so tight that I missed a few. Since we are viewing at home (with kids in the background) it would have been great to have the option to view live sessions later, even if I couldn't participate.
Excellent application, it was a pleasant experience to have this tool during the convention
I used the Whova app for the first time ever during the Fortune Builders Ignite in San Diego last week. It was so easy to use and allowed instant access to event schedules and daily planner. This is a wonderful, versatile app that I will most definitely use in the future. -Scott
Amazing app, can't wait to use it to organize my next event. Seamless operation w networking functionality
I was able to use the Whova app during the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Conference. It is one of the best apps I've used in a long time. It was extremely helpful and got me connected with everyone who attended the conference. The agenda feature, rating system and capability to interact with others was great. I would definitely recommend using the app. Would love to use again.
I enjoyed the ease with which I could navigate the Association for Creativity in Counseling Conference. Especially, being able to create my own agenda with the presentations I wanted to attend yet still be able to view the presentations on each day of the conference. I wish the All Ohio Counseling Conference had used this app.
Whova provided the easy access to the materials of the conference and making the communication and other process smooth
I recently attended a mass virtual conference and everything went flawlessly. The app design and smoothness was very well laid out. People could attend a variety of sessions, be notified, and even join raffles! I highly recommend for companies that want to do conferences during the pandemic
A perfect app. It integrates with my ecosystem (LinkedIn, Gmail) effortlessly. The app is very intuitive to use, so I used it right away, and glad I did. I really appreciate the Full Agenda and My Agenda toggle option, used it all the time. The Messages feature is great too. The only suggestion would be to add an Attendees and Community view based on my prefs (Google Contacts, LinkedIn 1st or 2nd).
I really enjoyed the app. I don't usually take the time to download these types of items, but it made it very easy to comment on the sessions that I attended as well as communicating with others at the conference. I'm glad I took the time to download it.
I attended a two day conference a week ago and was concerned about it being online, but Whova was easy to use. There were no presentation issues or technical difficulties. I love having the app as well so I could freely move around with my phone while listening and watching the presentations.
I attended a 3-day virtual conference with other educators to strategize ways we can impact our students for the upcoming school year. I loved the ability to interact with my peers via topics, post articles, and chat back and forth. We even had a friendly competition to see who would be in the Top 10 for the Leaderboard. I would definitely recommend this app and the features it provides to anyone planning a conference, especially during this time of COVID-19.
Great way to have your schedule at your fingertips, and have a reminder of events. Can also stay in contact and message each other and arrange time to meet up and other events during a Conference. Real time updates are fantastic.
Used the Whova app for the Fortune Builders Ignite event 2019 and it was such a time saver to have right in the palm of your hand all of the speakers which room they'd be in what time everything was scheduled. This app is such a time saver/organizer/network, Not to mention I didn't even get the full use considering this was my first time using it!
Whova is ideal to be informed of everything that happens in the Congress and at the same time to be in contact with all the participants. It's fantastic !!
Great event platform. Enjoyed the usability and DM interface.
I enjoyed having the option of so many topics to choose from at our PD event. It was wonderful to have the topics repeated throughout the day so I could create a schedule that works for me. The ability to see my agenda and how many seats were available was great as well. I wish this event was done annually instead of every 2 years.
great app for the conference I attended. The only thing I would change is the ability to copy and paste from messages or push to call phone numbers, but otherwise it's stellar and I'd use it again.
Whova simplifies a lot of steps for The recent events I organized. Registration, speaker information, agenda building, sponsor and exhibitor pages, check-in and live messaging are great. Also allows participants to interact without using the organizers as a go between. Simple and extremely useful!
Wonderful app to keep in touch with those you are with at a conference. It was a great way to keep up with the information throughout the conference. Great resource of photos and training materials.
A fantastic app that truly helps maximise what you get from any conference of seminar. You can connect with attendees way ahead of time, plan meet ups, keep in touch afterwards, have access to all the practical details, share documents and information, rate the speakers. What a relief must be for organizers also not having to be replying to hundreds of questions: as an attendee you read the thread of Ask Organizers Anything and you soon realise many of your questions have already been answered. They only downside, as a Spanish speaking person, is that there does not seem to be a Spanish interface (yet, I hope). That is a real pity as over 350 million people worldwide speak spanish so it would be worth expanding to that market.
Whova was very user-friendly. I love that you can run it from your computer and the app on your phone.
it is a spectacular tool, very nice, intuitive and easy to use
super recommended, I loved it and it was a great help to have everything in one place
5 Stars and more!
I loved using this app to easily stay in touch with other delegates, speakers and activities around the conference and I think I would most certainly be happy not only to use Whova again but also to recommend that other event organisers use this app. Easy to use, easy to access and it was great to refer to agenda changes, meet ups and to make friends!
I found the app very easy to navigate and would recommend it for the purposes of meetings.
Great App... really allows you to connect fully with others.
Wonderful App! it is easy to use and I love the virtual networking aspect of it - the user experience is fantastic.
What a great App. It allowed me to look in one place for all the information I needed for a Conference we attended. It also allowed us to connect with other attendees at the conference, pass along much needed information (blogs, articles, etc.). It is easy to use and has a variety of different tabs that can be used to help us transmit much needed information.
Efficient, easy to use, fun and a great tool when you are on the go during a conference.
This is a nice App. Very useful for an attendee of a big conference like NeurIPS 2019 having multiple tracks.
very good App... very useful for conference and meeting
Fantastic App for conference management. Great Opportunities for Networking. Highly recommended
A very useful & convenient tool for any type of large event!
This is an amazing app. I was able to connect to my friends and school mates so easily at CPA PNG and Australia Conference in Port Moresby. I would suggest to those of us on this app to continue to use this app to interact and share views and experiences. Well done team Whova Inc.
Our EOPS Conference last week was amazing. The Whova app made it easy to connect with others, post pictures, check on what workshops we were going to attend and it was super easy. All conferences should check this app out.. Amazing!!
Fantastic app! 2nd year using it for a real estate investing conference and it is very intuitive and helpful!
This app is more than wonderful. Nothing confusing about it. Very accessible, keeps me connected to everything that is happening pre & post conference. Love how I can get into my sessions just by downloading the app on my phone and my computer. I would highly recommend it to all my colleagues.
great app! excellent way to connect and network! also very convenient to access the training materials.
Whova made attending a remote three-day conference more dynamic. I felt connected to other attendees and as a presenter I was given timely reminders and helpful links.
An excellent app for attending and coordinating conferences, seamlessly bringing together different platforms and allowing conversation to happen between participants
I recently used Whova for the first time attending a Social Venture Circles Conference. It was simple to use and allowed me to make new contacts both before, during and after the gathering. The app kept me up to date on the agenda and messages from participants.
The Whova app rocks!! I attend a lot of conferences. Hands dow this mobile app is a 5 star experience tp engage the conference attendees in a community experience.
Very good product and the app is very easy to use. The customer support is also very responsive.
It seems Whova is popular these days. I have attended multiple conferences in US, London, and recently Canada, and they all used Whova. Very nice to plan session attendance and networking.
Great app, was an intrinsic part of our conference, provided great awareness of what was going on and kept attendees aware of the various workshops and enabled audience participation.
Spammers. They might have a great product (I don't know), but their unsolicited and persistent emails are about as welcome and useful as rickets.
Good application. I liked the fact that it transforms the time of the sessions to local time, which avoids any confusion about the timing.
English: Very good app. I liked the way the app automatically converts the time of the event into the local time, avoiding any confusion.
I think it was a very resourceful tool and help to keep the members engaged in the conference. Thank yo u
Used this over the weekend of 13-15 December 2019 for a real estate conference. It made it tremendously easy to meet others based on common interests and to engage in worthwhile conversations.
There were three things within the points system I would love to see improved upon. I'm sure the intent of issuing points was to drive participation within the app, and it has succeeded at that.
1. This year it seemed there were abundantly more "useless" posts/meet-ups being created solely for the sake of generating points. Perhaps a point-reversal could be initiated if "x" number of participants don't subscribe within "x" number of hours? And the points for those who "signed up" to go to that meet-up would also reversed.
2. Many people were using multiple posts to explain a singular idea (ie: posting one sentence, or even one word, at a time). Perhaps a tiered point system for posting messages/replies. For example, a post of 1-100 characters generates 50 pts; a post of 101-200 characters generates 100pts; and so on...
3. Lastly, I think the "Article Sharing" section was overused.
I gave more text to the negative side of this app, but this is a GREAT app and I will continue to use it in the future!
Great App, really helped me get up to date with what was going on at the coference and connecting with the people attending. My only issue was that when i accessed the Agenda it would go to the end of the day rather at than at the top meaning starting from the morning. Maybe it was a setting i had.
Other than that great work :)
Amazing product. Used it last week for the first time at a convention. It got everyone engaged, gave me an agenda at my finger tips. Allow me to connect and network. Highly recommend it.
A good app to hold conferences virtually. It's has a user friendly interface and pretty straight forward to use. No complaints.
The instructions were easily understood , I used this app for the first time in October 2019.
I really liked the fact that I could put my entire agenda into the app, connect with the people that were important not to miss while at the event. It's almost like having a virtual assistant for the conference.
Great app to use before and while attending an event as a delegate. Agenda could be linked to current time instead of having to scroll through the day to find which session is currently happening.
Whova was the selected app platform for a state association 4-day virtual conference that involved attendees that are members of our state association plus non-member participants from across the country. The Whova app was user-friendly, powerful, effective, and error-free during the four days that involved concurrent sessions. Highly recommend.
Fantastic app! Really makes conferencing possible and not so difficult to navigate. I strongly recommend it.
I used Whova at my last convention. It really helped out. It kept track of all the workshops that I wanted to go to. People would post social activities for the evening and it made it easy to tag along and meet new friends.
This app enhanced my experience of the Treat-NMD conference in the Netherlands. I've tried to use apps at conferences before and they've always missed more than they've given. This app gave live information about the event and enabled networking among the delegates. Of course, it's going to take some effort on the part of the organisers, but it's worth it. Well done!
Includes almost all features needed for attending any conference. Almost all the necessary information related to my conference including conference updates, agenda, Taxi ride sharing, pic sharing, lost and found were wonderfully put together in one App.
Very good meeting social and management app. Use it to easily understand the content of the meeting and socialize. This is a very good meeting app I have seen.
I used Whova for the first time in a e-summit organized in Mexico. The platform and the app worked perfectly and was very useful to interact with the panelists and the attendance. Great app.
Great app! Really helped me manage all my contacts made at the event without having to dig through dozens of business cards. And easy to keep in touch with everyone! Would definitely recommend this app for future conferences.
Whova made my experience easy when attending a conference in China. Though I had trouble with my phone, I was always able to send messages through Whova and maintain communication channels with other folks!
An excellent app for attending virtual conferences. Chat, Q&A, virtual meet up and other features did the best possible to replicate an in-person experience Everything was streamlined and easy to use and it made the online meeting experience much more enjoyable than I expected.
I really enjoyed the SECO20 conference It was easy to use Whova. And it was so cool to virtually meet other people attending
One of the best and best conference application. very easy to use and perfect layout. Thanks
I enjoyed the experience of using the APP. It was user friendly and allowed me to connect with other attendees
Fabulous way to have everything about the conference I attended at my fingertips. Excellent!
This app is perfect for everyone for everything like meeting and more
The Whova app helped me network at the WAETAG Conference last weekend. I work in a very small school district and I was able to put a post on the community board that connected me with other administrators and teachers from small school districts. We were able to talk about our specific needs and difficulties from being in small districts.
Our recent Whova conference was great. I was nervous about not being there in person, however, the agenda tab was easy to decipher and I am now glad that I did not have to drive for 3 hours, stay in a hotel, and instead, could play with the dogs and cat and enjoy the sessions from a nice chair.
Just participated in our virtual Annual statewide PACTE Conference - University Teacher Educators.
It was sad to not be in person, but Whova was a terrific substitute.
Easy to log in and find the agenda and sessions. I have also used Whova when I participated in a conference in person.
I have used other apps at other conferences that have not been as helpful.
I highly recommend Whova.

I love Whova, this is the most efficient way to schedule, present (Zoom) and track large meetings/events. Whova Rocks!
I wasn't sure about Whova as it was a new platform to me, and my experience of other conference apps has been confusing, frustrating and just not a value-add. I just attended the IFVP conference (International Forum of Visual Practitioners) and I can say, Whova is different. Instead of just making people fill out a profile that no one reads, Whova truly facilitates the networking among participants by allowing topic discussions and virtual meetups. The content felt more like a "real" conference, with an easy-to-follow agenda. That said, there is a learning curve and some things could be improved. There is a bit of confusion between the mobile and desktop apps, especially when you receive emails full of links to content that when you click on them, it prompts you to download the mobile app (I have it already, i wanted the link to open in my browser). More attention should be paid to the desktop app now that most people are remote. The mobile app is more useful when a conference is F2F and the app is merely an enhancement, not the entire event. Also, Whova is not a substitute for smart humans running the event. We had several sessions that were better going directly to Zoom rather than through the Whova app and I appreciated receiving a clear email to that effect. Our moderators were up to speed and had a manned Zoom "help desk"as wells as clear instructions as to when the next session would be and how to join it. By the end of the day I loved Whova and look forward to the next two days of this conference (We have one in July and one in august) now that i'm familiar with the app.
