Looking for a bottle of wine to go with dinner and I found the perfect Bordeaux
The shelves are not as high at this WFs are at others, which should theoretically be an advanatge. But, it's not always easy to find the aisle that has the items you want. Still, very pleasant environment.
Quality/selection of produce has declined. Disappointed to see the wine bar converted into a package center. Suggest getting your groceries elsewhere.
WF has the best produce around when the farmers market isn't an option. High prices, though, and a cashier who wears enough perfume to smell from across the room.
Always have what I'm looking for plus, staff is very friendly and helpful!
Very big market with a really good variery of organic products
Shameful taking away health care for part time workers. If you shop here you support and endorse it. This company is evil.
There is everything for selective taste, organic and healthy food. Even cozy restaurant and painted murals!
Love the new location as it carries a ton more items plus great service!!
Great organic foods supermarket and on the spot breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and counters.
so much space compared to the old small one that made you feel claustrophobic. now a lot more space and more products to choose from.
Every time I come in this store someone always greets me. The food is always fresh and it smells great. I have (had) a habit of getting the curry chicken salad a few times a week. The people in that department started to remember me. They also had conversations with me so it wasn't just generic customer service.
I've been eating unhealthy for a while...
However, still at age 40 I have an athletic build that I want to take to the next level..
Whole Foods 365 brand has more then a great selection...
Everything I purchased was organic and or non GMO and Vegan..
With price's more reasonably then I expected compared to other places.. Making it more then worth the drive...
Parking at this location was clean, safe, and
easy to get into..
And the cashier Veronica was amazingly helpful..
Explained about the discount for being an Amazon prime member..
Which is how I knew about the 365 brand.. Great place!! Now let's see what happens in 21 days eating this way..
The enormous Whole Foods sign measures 35 feet wide by 25 feet tall, making it the largest Whole Foods sign in Chicago. The sign beckons you to come inside, and believe me, you won't be disappointed. When Kingsbury opened, I thought it was the most magnificent Whole Foods I had ever seen in Chicago or NYC. This store puts the flagship store to shame. While this store carries standard Whole Foods products, they definitely have expanded offerings in many departments. And everything is so artfully displayed, I wanted to buy the entire store!
My daughter was visiting from NYC for three days and we went here four times! I live in the burbs, but I plan on making the trip to this gorgeous store on occasion. They also have four vintage arcade games including Pac Man, circa 1980 - how unbelievably cool is that!!
Whole paycheck is true! But can find Items other places don't carry. Need more organic produce in winter, these months tends to be sparse which is disappointing!
This store makes Marianos look like an 80's Jewel in comparison. Excellent employees!
They have a lot of products, but they all seem to be overpriced. Wouldn't do my weekly shopping here.
as far as grocery goes..but this is so much more... bar and restaurant...
Beautiful facility with nice dining options inside. You don't feel overcrowded.
Hot bar food and selection was horrible, please start to make something for ppl who aren t vegan and don t want to eat meat with sugar, bbq sauces and etc.
Great new store in Lakeview - the great quality of Wholefoods, great selection of products plus a few cool bars to hang out and have a glass of wine.
This is a clean, friendly, helpful welcome center with shaded picnic tables and lots of outdoor space.
Convenient supermarket in the city. It is large and efficiently compact and has everything I'm looking for every time I go. Free parking on-site is a bonus! A great shopping experience.
Friendly employees, clean environment and very organized.
This location is convenient for WF shopping in Lakeview. It has ready access at the intersection of Lincoln/Ashland/Belmont, but is tucked away just north with access between Lincoln and Ashland. There is plentiful bike parking and a car lot on the surface and up above.
The store itself is not as gargantuan as its River North cousin, and can feel a bit tight, but it doesn't have the insanity of that other location, service is better, and the store feels more cared-for.
A few specific comparisons would note that this location does not have teese for some reason, but the RN location does. This location is also not as convenient for access via the L (red line); however it is on the Ashland bus line. This location doesn't have the rabid food demos, but I like not having a million distractions when I get groceries.
Bad store layout makes it difficult to find anything. Equally difficult to find any store workers to help
Always a pleasure to shop for fresh produce, excellent prepared food and tasty bakery. Outstanding service by friendly employees.
Great produce. Beautiful store. On the expensive side.
Extremely friendly staff, asked for a pen from one of the cashiers since I didn't have one to write in a card I just bought, he was more than happy to help me out!
Great new store excellent layout , coffee bar on level 1 and the store itself is on level 2 . Huge checkout, great fresh food for take out or a quick dinner.
This particular store can get pretty crowded, and trying to park there is a hassle but for all intents and purposes is a very good grocery store. They have great fresh food available for purchase everyday, and the staff is very nice. I always have a friendly conversation with the checkout people and baggers.
My home away from home. They have everything I could ever need although I can't afford most of it.
Huge Whole Foods. Plenty of parking in the garage. The largest prepared food section I've seen yet. Great service. So glad to see the prices going down.
Very large and very nice new Whole Foods location, replacing the one on the other side of Ashland. This one has all the special counters and service lines that you see in the largest Whole Foods. Very good selection.
More space than other whole foods, also more options for food
It was great lobster soup and delicious ice cream!
I wish I could have Whole Foods market at my city!
This whole foods is awesome. If I'm ever looking for anything, their employees go out of their way to show me all of my options and give their personal recommendations. They also have a great salad and hot bar!
Nice and new. Checkout has always been kinda slow when I've been there but staff friendly. Items on promotion don't always ring up correctly (Cheese Dept).
The staff is very kind and friendly. Everyone is super helpful and the produce is the best. I shop here a few times a month and they have a great variety of specials.
I miss the BBQ station at the Kingsbury location, but the wine bar is a nice touch
No line, staff focused on safety, great healthy selection.
Grocery Store is nice and big, but layout is a little difficult.
MY KIND OF PLACE!
Excellent market with food that be trusted. Freshness is their byword!
Beautiful store but pickup leaves something to be desired. Just be aware that if you order for pickup, you still need to go all the way inside the store to the second floor by the checkout, so I had to track all the way through the busiest part of the store. I was using pickup in order to avoid bringing my small children into the store so it was a complete fail, I assumed they would offer a curbside pickup like so many other stores. I did get my items quickly but the process and app didn't work very well, Target does a much better job with their drive-up services.
Tiny and expensive. Can't wait for the new one across the street which will be huge and expensive!
This tiny Whole Foods Market in Lakeview isn't as mind-blowing at the super giant Lincoln Park location, but if you need something organic on the spot, it fits the bill.
Free parking in the parking tower for up to 3 hours if you have your ticket validated.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
I would recommend not shopping about an hour to closing time as most of the prepared foods/salad bar are picked over and emptied out.
Try the mochi at the mochi bar (it's really a small cooler).
LOVE this whole foods. So many options, especially for different dietary requirements. Love the layout, friendly and knowledgable staff too.
They have a great variety....to choose from at the salad bar! simply delicious! healthy!
I love grocery shopping here. I find many types of teas and coffees, and different types of cookies too. I think in my opinion that AMAZON ruined them. I found Organic Red Grapefruit on sale for $1.19 a pound. Then I saw the reg Red Grapefruit for $1.49 a pound?? If you really look at these large round fruit a pound is only 2 of these grapefruits. So, I bought 1 for $1.41 which wasn't a sale to me because this 1- I picked weighted 1.09 lbs. Who knew this? They did since knowing that us consumers just pick any fruit and not weigh them. I'll remember this next time.
What I love about WHOLE FOODS way before ( Pandemic Times) they had FREE samples of their cookies, breads, fresh fruit pieces, soup samples. And that meant a lot to me? So, I continue to shop here. And I have, I like coming down here to Lakeview area and yep, shop at the Target, Dinkles Donuts and Whole Foods then do my usual walk down on Roscoe Street to head back to Southport and to catch the Brown Line. This is a larger store on Ashland Ave. And they have many places to shop here. But today's visit I made a short shopping list. I needed some Almond Milk searching for a brand called Pacific Foods in the 8 oz size. They don't carry the single sizes separately anymore. But I did find a few 8 oz singles in the refrigerator near the hot food bar. Almond Milk from Whole Foods their own line called 365. I bought 1 carton. I need it for a smoothie recipe which I need only 1 cup. Then was saddened to find out they also stopped carrying Cafe Du Monde- in DECAF, made with Chicory. Yeah, I can buy it thru Amazon??? Um, Why?? I need it for another recipe. But I'll keep searching for it. If I had it then I wouldn't bought that STARBUCKS Reserve!
Still, It's my favorite place to shop at...
okay. produce workers could be a little more gentle with the product..
Okay variety, from the way people were talking I expected more. It is a large produce store but no reason to go out of my way to get something.
Best Whole Foods EVER!
Huge, great selection of everything.
You can also grab some food and drinks at this location!
We love it!
Great quality and experience you would expect from WF. Nice coffee bar and seating. Separate beer/cocktail bar and wine bar. Parking can be tight at peak times.
What a huge store! Definitely pricier than a regular grocery store, and also some limitations on choices. They do offer a huge meat and seafood section, a wine bar, and great cheese and bakery offerings.
Wonderful place where you can get a meal easy there's free arcade games and organic food if you are a health Junkie and you want to get a meal without getting pounds this is the place to start
Huge store with a great selection. Convenient, free garage parking.
Easily the most comfortable grocery store bars I've been to. Great for beer drinkers - wide selection for cheap. Beyond that, solid Whole Foods in a convenient location including parking. I just wish they had brewed coffee/tea to supplement their prepared foods.
Idk how anyone can dislike this Whole Foods... Amazing bar that will provide you with a fantastic drink to start an always fabulous shopping experience and all of the best choices for meat, cheese, veggies, beer, wine, hot food, etc. I know it's a bit pricier but this place is worth it to me.
I live close by, so I was shopping here several times a week. Overall, this place is great, like any other Whole Foods. Lately I've been going to Marino's for big shopping trips because I can't get past how filthy the shopping carts are at this location. They are pretty gross! The store offers wipes to disinfect the handle and child seat, but I noticed that the inside of all the large shopping carts have caked on food and dirt in the inside. Spray them down once in a blue moon!
Very affordable and convenient way to get some fresh good. Definitely the best!
This place is huge! They have all types of food for lunch and free WiFi. It is a great place to work and meet.
