It certainly is an expensive grocery store, but handy when you want more niche things (like grilling cheese, wine from NY, or certain organic cleaners etc).
Make sure if you have prime to get and use the app.
What a place, this location has its own coffee roasters and bakery. They have an express check-out. Parking garage is available; I get in and out faster with street parking.
I love this place! Great selection and plenty of space.
I get bulk and hard to find items here. It's the best grocery store in the city. Everyone is super friendly, and smiling when I have questions.

Two stars is the max that a Whole Paycheck can get from me. This one has all the new bells and whistles that one might expect from a highly anticipated soul-sucking store of elite fancitude. And it is conveniently located!

Hi, we are paying lots of money for food we think its fresh well we are wrong I know many people do not care but I do salads are not fresh tuna reps NO NO . I can believe they put old food out not caring that children eat that food as well. Today it was my left time I bought salad at that store.
The biggest whole foods I've ever been to which makes it an adventure. Seems to have a good little deli for a quick bite if needed.

Great place for fresh organic products. I like hitting the hot bar and salad bar. The meat department always has a nice wide selection of choices and are reasonably priced. One of my favorite sections is the cheese department, the variety alone will make any Cheese and wine lover happy, they always have a rotation of different cheeses on sale and a knowledgeable staff makes the experience even better.
I am quite obsessed with this store. Never was a Whole Foods shopper until I moved to the area and fell in love with this store. Especially now that prices are competitive to Amazon and other grocery stores in the area. The store is always well organized and filled with helpful employees willing to direct. My one suggestion would be to keep a consistent inventory of products. There have been a few occasions where I tried a product that I found at Whole Foods and went back to get that brand, and it was no where to be found.

This place is pretty and enormous. Other than that, it doesn't really distinguish itself from other Whole Foods. I will say this - it will have EVERYTHING you need.
Whole Foods is always a great experience. Lots of prepared food in addition to a wide grocery selection. Wine tasting room, coffeeshop in the building, indoor parking. Its worth the visit!
Used to love it, but now it s overcrowded with Amazon shoppers making it impossible to get around the already small store. Why not have a separate store or distribution center for them, or have them shop from the back room instead of the store?
I've been coming to this Whole Foods regularly for about 6 months. Everything was good until today. The cashier noted I brought my own bags, but made no move to take the bag or bag my items so I started to bag my things myself. After I paid there were still items that needed to be bagged. Instead of finishing bagging my items the cashier started ringing up the next guest and proceeded to take her bag and started to ring up and bag her items. This incredibly unprofessional and the exact opposite of good customer service. I won't be frequenting this Whole Foods anymore. I'll echo a previous reviewer in that their cashiers need customer service training.
Very expensive don't really have a stop that you need and and this took to they do have saw new to me services just OK they said they want to lower their prices because Amazon bottom out I think they got confused cause the prices are still more expensive they play self and for what you're getting only thing good that they have is the almond butter they truly

I'm a fan of Whole Foods. Their larger stores with nice eat-in spaces are nice but can be a bit intimidating. Their staff is always helpful.

The new lake view store is incredible. Parking is much easier, the cafe is vwry nice with ample seating, and the new beer and wine bar is a nice touch. The store is much bigger with more choices, and I was happy to see many crew members from the other store.
Nice new store with wide aisles. Good selection of pre-prepared food and beverages. Though they streamlined their product line and only carry the popular items.
I'm always surprised by deficiency of Whole Foods as a storefront and as a corporation. That this location I probably would have rating in front my year ago as a very out of a five train I'm giving a great rating of five out of 5. Why is that you asked, they cleaned up the bathrooms this place! it seemed that the employees didn't really care about cleanliness or following through with that I'm securing a clean entire latrine. When an employee feels that way, that means management feeling that way. Perhaps management wasn't aware about it but they certainly sure did take care of it. I got in the area where the coldest was cleaned up or added more selection or someone over there is working at with love. You got to take pride in what you do and how you see people especially when you're in the public eye. Somebody was giving it love without instructions. That's how you know you have a good employee and a great working relationship within the organization.
since they have converted the entire express checkout to self checkout, this has become a miserable place to shop. is it too much to ask for at least one express checkout operated by a human? i HATE self checkout.

Awesome grocery store....Got almost everything you need.
Always super crowded. Very compact aisles and produce section. But my biggest problem is all of the freakin private shoppers. They're rude, they're everywhere, you can't get to any products because they're like ants all over the place, it's ridiculous.
It's became my one of the best lunch places , second floor lunch area , wide selection of food , freshly made meals , great service and if you decide to do early dinner on Friday they have a full bar on a second floor with crazy selections of crafted beer , highly recommend , enjoy

We just went to pick up an Amazon order and there was literally the least amount of organization I've seen thus far at a grocery store. Signs don't always clarify especially when the store is packed with stuff along the perimeter. The distanced location for pickup is right beside employee check in and there's no way you can distance yourself when their gloves/ sanitizer etc is so close...I will not be picking up from this location anytime soon.
Whole Foods has everyday low prices for everyday. With a hot foods area to take home cooked foods for after a hard days work or school.

A much needed store in the area. But the most impressive feature is the Red Star bar inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Five stars, definitely.
Brilliant. Allowing customers to drink alcohol in the store while they shop. Get them drunk and let them shop... someone's going to make a lot of money... but the customers will enjoy themselves
It was great except someone blew up the microwave and I couldn't heat up my food and someone forgot to put tape on my olives & my Olives spilled out all over my bag
It s been a decent store to shop at but there are an annoying amount of prime workers getting in your way now who don t have much courtesy for normal shoppers there.

Good store, good location. Seems to have more interesting things than other locations. Great fresh food sections. I like coming here for lunch. They need to put in more bike racks though.
New store with bright lights and new bright freezers. Whole foods stations are top notch. New carts are smooth and efficient going down the super wide aisles.

They did a TERRIBLE job with my nails. When they were done, I realized the polish was barely on my nails. I m NEVER coming back here again!! Save your money and go elsewhere.

By far the best Whole Foods in Chicago!!! Love love love this store!!! The layout is great and easy to get around. The carts are perfect and have a cell phone holder as well as a beverage holder, so I could have a place to put my amazing oat milk latte that I bought before I started shopping. The staff are super helpful and go out of their way to walk customers to the products. No pointing to an aisle here. They will take you right to what you re looking for and take the time to actually show you where the products are! I appreciate that so much. I am vegan and needed to find low carb vegan options, and this Whole Foods store has everything I need! I only go to this one now because it is the best one in the city!!!
My new favorite Whole Foods location. Usually, I have to hit different ones to get all the specialty items I like, but this one serves the spinach pies, Greyston blondies, Siggi's triple cream yogurt, and Justice of the Pies pie I love. It's also huge enough to handle the crowds, so I don't have to worry about literally rubbing elbows with strangers.
So much selections, and gets even better if you have an amazon prime subscription! It's so so good to go to!!
