Freshest foods, easy parking. The new location better be as awesome as this one. Whole Foods Ashland has been our main grocery store for a while. Recommend to anyone seeking an easy grocery experience with the freshest produce.
Shame, shame, shame !!!
Who ever run this store should be fired immediately!
Juice bar accepts only Apple Pay no cash or credit . Discrimination to older people and people who don t have smartphones
Maybe next time they should ask for passport or citizenship if you want buy something
I guess the store was open for Apple official not for a regular hard working people
Typical Whole Foods. Prices are high, quality is acceptable. Not too crowded though
Too small, but the new huge store opens this week across the street.
Large selection of healthy foods and vitamins, even Carrie's (Black seed oil) , which is good for every thing, except death, currently.
I've always had a pleasant experience here. The checkout lines are never to long and the employees are always very helpful. I go to the seafood counter often and am very picky about what's fresh and what's not. They help walk me though it and provide solid recommendations.
Large store layout makes the shopping experience more pleasant.
Beware.. Never would have I expected the store manager to ask me for my receipt in front of everyone. When your cashier asked if I wanted it and I declined, doesn't make me a thief. Next time get the facts before you make assumptions. Never again will you get my business.
Pretty standard Whole Foods. There's a coffee shop on the bottom floor, a big parking garage, and the grocery store and eateries are upstairs. The staff were pretty knowledgeable when I asked for something fairly obscure. Good selection of produce, meats and poultry, and beer and wine.
Best one in the city. Arcade games for my kids to play while I shop.
I'm not a fanatical While Foods shopper, in fact I generally avoid its high prices and annoying customers. But I have to say this location is really well thought out, with ample parking, a spacious store layout, and activities for old and young throughout the week (such as storytime and sing alongs). With Amazon's influence, some prices are declining, which is good. It's still not enough to be my first choice in grocery stores, but I actually don't mind going.
Only a few blocks from my apartment. Super convenient and great produce!
Boring. People very uninviting. Staff sorry to say dont know were simple things are.
The only thing worse than the location is the service.
Was chastised for asking for double bags and my response of your bags are worthless and rip gave me the reward of a cashier moving as slowly as possible asking me idiotic questions like " what is this" ....thats a beet. "What is this" .....thats green onions.
Parking lot is a free for all with 90 degree parking which makes for an interesting hair raising experience.....me being in my tiny 7 passenger suv surrounded by Tahoes, Yukons, and Subarbans driven by people who can not even touch the roof of their own cars.....i cant imagine parking next to yoga pants wearing vertically challenged yuppies if i was in a prius.
Wider park stalls or a different layout for parking is needed.
Apparently the stores location means even higher prices. Skirt steak, 365 olive oil, etc were a dollar more per than Whole Foods Edgewater.
Thankfully this location doesnt appear to have the insta cart lunatics who drive their cartd like its mario bros.
Try their deli items. You will be
happy. Visit often. Consistent
top quality in every aisle.
Nice big market. Everything was well stocked and their checkout was safe and efficient. We went the Tuesday before thanksgiving and while it was pretty busy it felt fairly safe given covid.
It s a great location.
I really love the store but when i was buying earlier some beef from meat department, the guy who was acting like a meat manger was rude to customer he need a lesson taking care of people .he needs Training!!
First, I miss the old location. I miss what felt like our little neighborhood Whole Foods. The new one is more of a "destination." That said, I still love the staff there, its nice and open, and the selection is, you know, Whole Foods.
Great new location! You can't miss the biggest withe sign.
Good inventory and great store size but parking lot is a nightmare
Whole foods always has a great staff and while it's usually busy, check in and out is usually a breeze and I can always find what I want.
Swanky new Whole Foods with a bar. Even the coffee bar serves wine and beer. As ever though, it's crazy expensive. I'm always in awe when I see people with overflowing carts.
New facility with a variety of extras found in flagship Whole Foods stores. Could use a bit less variety in fresh non prepackaged produce, that would be an advantage in this area in particular. Otherwise all the bulk, health, whole, non GMO fare you expect from Whole Foods.
Convenient location, free parking and got dinner from the hot food bar.
Best grocery store ever. They have good prices, good quality food, and good samples.
I did not have a welcoming time there a few weeks ago Whole Foods is just too expensive for some of the employees to be rude. At Some of the other Whole Foods I find t the people are much more welcoming. A manager was supposed to email me about my experience and I never heard back. The great thing about Whole Foods is there are a lot of them around the city and I can go to the ones where I do feel comfortable.
Has a beautiful location with an ample parking and a welcome friendly atmosphere. Has a good selection of prepared foods and beverages.
Nice premium grocery store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Lots of tables to dine or have your coffee. Ample parking. Free arcade games for children. Clean restrooms.
Nothing but negative Experiences here, the staff is rude and has a underlining racial bias
Too big. Feels like a warehouse and team is not as helpful and friendly as other Whole Foods locations.
Huge and one of the nicest Whole Food Markets I have seen. The variety of products here is a good reason to pick this one over the other WFM locations in the area.
My first visit, I only bought one item, I looked around, I talked to two employees about a Taco bar, which most stores have, they said what you see, they both have the wrong attitudes about what sells at Whole Foods, smirk on their faces they do not know how to talk to customers. I will return. Too many places to buy coffee, they have a juice bar, I will go back for buffett.
A beautiful store where everything is delicious and perfect. Love their bar and game area.
6 stars across the board here. It's amazing experience at this Locale and others too. But here Whole Foods lives for your questions and just buying anything you know helps and is tasty
I stop by this whole foods once a week, and they often are completely out of stock of some items. store brand chicken breast, regular carrots, bread...they usually are out of stock out of at least one thing on my list. BUT the store is extremely clean, the staff is very helpful, the bulk section is fantastic and the food at the hot bar is absolutely delicious.
An impressive, multilevel Whole Foods with a huge selection of the usual WF fair. The upstairs bar is quite nice and roomy. Lots of samples around the store and which checkout.
I used to love the location cross the street. I feel like Wholefoods company is going through an identity crisis. It doesn't really know how to define itself in the competition. For me, the old Lakeview location was my favorite wholefoods store with it's little neighborhood farmer's market feel. All clerks were so nice and polite, and greeted you personally. I used to get my weekly grocery shopping done here. The new location looks like a big food court with a grocery store attached. And at the food court, you will be skeptical to see the mounds and mounds of food. What do they do with their leftover gelato at the end of the day?? It surely doesn't go with my trying to be simple organic lifestyle. It's true, with a bigger space, they get to carry a lot more variety. So now, they have 50 different kinds of pasta instead of like 15 they used to. The thing is though, I used to be able to get everything I needed from old store. They advertise serving wine and beer for the customers to enjoy sipping on while they are shopping and it just make me wonder if that is a definition of dependency if someone has to relax with wine and beer while picking up grocery. I haven't found an alternative yet, so I'll be going to Whole foods, probably another location for awhile, but I'm disappointed to see that they are only following the trend of Mariano's.
Incredible new Whole Foods. Enormous selection, with tons and tons of seating. Many great options for eating-in, though maybe slightly less than the Whole Foods further south in the North Ave and Clybourn area.
The best place to go if i have seen enough body art yet. I don't know if it's a requirement to work there, but it seems like everyone's got tattoos. I'll never get one, but I'm fascinated by those who do and the stories behind them. Oh, and the selection of food and everything else is stellar!
Nice new whole foods. It's in a crazy-busy location, but has a good parking lot. The layout is nice, but the produce section lacks much choice for organics. Great store, otherwise: nice staff, lots of prepared foods,a coffee shop.
A clean fresh and healthy food place and has parking
This is a more neighborhood and locally-oriented Whole Foods. When you are a repeat customer, the staff may greet you as a friend and smile at you because they remember you. It is a fun place to shop for those few, special items that are on sale, unique to the store, or for which you just have a taste! If you look carefully, there are some good buys too, such as the 365 brands. We are addicted to the 365 brand peanut butter. And if you have a sweet tooth yet need protein, grab some cranberry tuna in the prepared foods sections. it is a yummy addiction.
I have eaten at their hot bar a couple of times and have been pretty disappointed in the quality of their food. However, there are a ton of choices and this is a huge grocery store
I love the new location. The layout and selection is highly improved and the cafe area and coffee bar are separated from the grocery section. The staff has been incredibly friendly. The parking garage is a bit of a pain to navigate but there are plenty of spaces.
It's just a jewel with fancier labels and higher prices
A bit pricey but I'm worth it. Best quality meat, dairy and produce.
I loved the experience, especially considering we re in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is not the type of grocery store I would visit for anything outside grilling meats......like at all, no brand variety went in for soup and blah. I'm not always looking for cage free vegan gluten reduced saltless popcorn chips. Literally walked out disappointed and with nothing but honey sticks .
Always willing to help. Great employees and managers are always ready to lend a hand.
If you want to take a trip up to Kenosha Wisconsin, you can stop by woodman's Market, they are 24 hours, more helpful employees, just about the same number of organic and natural options, 3 times the selection, and much lower prices
Whole Foods no longer extends their sales prices on Amazon Prime deliveries. So basically you're paying for prime membership and then paying more for the merchandise as well. Shady.
Standard whole foods. Too many hipsters and overpriced
Here's one of the original healthy grocery store. This is another one of my favorites. Excellent produce and great food. Very friendly staff. Love it.
Excellent service and consistently fresh produce. Highly recommended!
Now they don t even bag for you- you do it yourself. Called while in the store to ask where cookies are. She sends me to the wrong isle. Call again and they send someone. The cookies are in the bakery isle- big sign - no cookies.
Always so busy, people don t watch where they are going or excuse themselves if they are standing in the middle of an aisle. The staff member that helped me today at the register was great, but they have so many staff walking around and kind of push you out of the way to get to wherever they need to go. I do love the cheese and wine section though, always have a great selection.
Great store. Fish department is a little lacking though. Very little wild caught selection. Wild caught they do have is way over-priced.
Huge. Two bars. One offers $2 "mystery beer" that is the bartender's choice. Or you can take the beer with you as you shop.
Great little cafe on the ground level, fast and clean and comfortable. Upstairs is the merchandise... It's so big and modern, but still feels crowded and disorienting. And the lines are looong and slooow.
