I will never spend another cent at Whites Mountain...

I will never spend another cent at Whites Mountain Chevrolet in Casper.
We brought our 2012 Acadia Denali in for a rough idol, power loss and a check engine light in the first week of December. The service department told us they were leaning toward a timing chain replacement for a healthy $3000 price tag. We love our car and want to keep it so we told them to move forward with the necessary repairs as they said it would cure the issue. We received the car back Dec. 23rd and noticed the front end seemed to now have no suspension and was riding terribly. One day later the check engine light came back on and the car began to run worse than it did before we took it in. We notified the service department of the issue and they said they would definitely look into it and fix the issues. We returned the car to them and two days later they are now saying my struts have magically gone bad both at the same time and we need a new Catalectic converter for a healthy $2000 price tag. It is now January 15th I don t have my car and they refuse to repair the vehicles front end that is now a danger to my wife and children.

Service Department Rip Off!

Service Department Rip Off!
Scheduled appointment for tailgate latch that was not working and the service trailer brake warning. Appt was for 8am did not hear from them so I called at 1:30 to see what they found. Did not have info and said they would get back to me which they did about 25 minutes later. They informed me I needed a new tailgate handle assembly and a switch for the the trailer brake warning and it would cost $700+ for the work and parts. I told the service rep that I would come and pick my truck up as they said it would take till the next day to get parts. On arrival they charged me $201.00 for an hour and a half of labor, diagnostics and hazardous waste disposal????
Upon deciding to replace the handle myself($60 part) I discovered there was a small screw loose that holds a spring assembly for the latch that was loose. Tighten the screw and latch and tailgate works.......wow....didn t need the new latch. And the warning for trailer brake has not come on since they plugged it into the diagnostics computer/tester/troubleshooter.....not quite sure that was worth $122/hr to diagnose.
Long story short this is not the first mistrusted incident with this service department as I have purchased 3 vehicles from them, WHY did I go back?????

The folks at White's go above and beyond in their service to customers. Christina and Jenna are friendly, helpful and trustworthy. I switched from a Toyota to a Subaru because I just didn't trust the service department at Toyota anymore, and I feel it was the best choice I could have made. Besides that, I love my Subaru! :)

We bought a Kia from here and the sales experience was pretty good. When it came to the service department this was the worst customer service I had received. There were several requests where I was promised a call back and they failed to do so. There were things I was looking for advice on and their knowledge base was sub par after doing some research. Also the price to have cruise control put in our car was almost triple what I finally got it for at a dealership in Cheyenne. In a nutshell if you are looking for any decent customer service with people you can trust, this is not the place to shop.

Just an update no one addressed my concerns. We were looking to buy a new vehicle so we went to Casper GMC for our new truck. Service is great there.

A exceptionally wonderful experience. I will be calling Victoria when I buy my next vehicle. Told her what we wanted and she didn't talk to us about vehicles we didn't want. She found the right vehicle and said "If I am doing my job right, this is the vehicle for you". She was right. We will be back. My wife names vehicles, this is called Victoria. You an Angel. See you in a couple of years.

The weather tech mat came up literally (im not 20 years old so I know how to use literally properly) 20 times during the sale. After 2 months of waiting for our floor mat, we got a damned carpet. Why was I surprised that after taking an hour with the parts department just to get a spare key ordered for a 2017 Subaru, it took almost 2 hours for the service department to set up the key. I had a scheduIed appointment and they knew I was waiting for the "quick" job but they did not even start work for 1.5 hours. I should have known that when White's Mountain Motors would not provide a spare key when they sold me the vehicle that it would be a nightmare to get one. Total cost, 3 hours and $185. I am done with this place.

Buying a car is stressful enough. And I was hesitant to even go to a dealership. I have had some not so pleasant experiences with other dealerships. However... I would recommend whites to anyone in need of a new ride. Our salesman (jason) was incredibly helpful and wasn't pushy at all. It was actually very enjoyable. And then to make matters even more incredible, after we had left and had the car for a few days, we received a call from the guy who handles the paperwork(cody). He found a way to lower our payments even more! 3 days after we had already left. These are people who genuinely care about their customers and not so much about the all mighty dollar. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

After our Outback blew its CVT in the middle of nowhere, the White's Mountain (particularly Kim and Jenna) service department saved the day! We worked with them and Subaru international to warranty it and get us back on the road safely. We live in Omaha and got stuck near Douglas, WY. After getting it towed to White's we knew we were in good hands. Drove it back to Omaha this week and it runs like new! AMAZING crew, customer service, communication, and all of it! Thanks so so much.

I will say that I believe that the cost was excessive, fobs and keys should not cost that much. Service charge was a standard charge at $60.00 and hour I believe. We were driving to Casper when my husband and daughter had an accident. My husband's Malibu needed towed so the tow truck took it to Whites Mountain. My husband explained we had full coverage insurance and he wanted a rental. The sales department told him they didn't have a rental and Enterprise was closed. My family was on a trip to Casper for my son and we had an important itinerary to follow. Long story short they led us to believe our Malibu would be totalled out and just trade it to another car. I was very stressed from the accident, tired from trying to follow my son's schedule. And I had my two year old who needed food and rest. They kept us waiting and waiting and waiting for finance department. By the the time the paper work was finished I was over stimulated. Signed the paper for the new car so I could get my kids out of there. The next day I looked up the dealer ship. The car they sold us at full price 28,000 was on sale 20,000. My husband called and they will not honor the sale price because we already signed paperwork. Also, heard back from insurance and our Malibu wasn't totaled out. I feel like they took advantage of us being extremely stressed and tired from the day and trip. Stay away from this place.

Horrible! Took my car in for a check engine light, idling rough. I had the codes read before hand and could have been sensors or timing chain. They automatically did timing chain, it s expensive. We got the car back after a week, rode rough as heck, then check engine light comes back on. We got it back on Dec 23rd they said roads were icy and rough so they didn t notice on the test drive.? Now they say struts are bad. It rode like a dream before we took it in. They didn t notice while it was torn apart? We have heard 4 different stories about how the engine was dropped for the timing chain. We have verified with other mechanics how it has to be done and the issues that probably happened. They had my car for another full week without even calling to give us an update. Now they will not admit they messed up my car and make it right. Very frustrating, disappointing and Ive been out of a car for a month. We re not done trying to have them make it correct. Will never recommend their work or customer service!!!

I was looking for a smaller truck and Chance Cole called me and let me know they recently got a trade in that was everything I was looking for! It was a 2018 GMC Canyon with 64000 miles and had all the features I was looking for. It had 4WD, heated seats, remote start, navigation and leather seats! It s a beautiful truck with more technology then I have ever seen. Chance was very kind and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and helped me get to where my payments would be what I asked for!
He took the time to show me all the technology the truck had and how to work it! I even called him a hour after i left the dealership to ask him some questions about it! He is definitely a great asset and very knowledgeable! Great attitude, kind and patient young man. Definitely would recommend Chance for sure!

Compassion and quality sums it up. We were on our return trip home from Christmas at grandma's when my trusty old suburban decided to throw a temper tantrum north of Casper and put us in a serious bind. I immediately called and explained that we were stranded (family of 4 plus one very annoying pup) and asked if they could help. Whites made it happen, and helped us get home safe with the old suburban. From the excellent service writer Jenna, to the shop manager, to the mechanics working on the rolling p.o.s, we received nothing but the best customer service and quality repair that we have ever received from a dealership, this even included Jenna contacting the hotel of our choice and getting us a rate we could afford when it turned out we were going to have to stay overnight. Casper should be proud of the way this dealership and it's staff represented your town.

Absolutely fantastic service! Jason and Corey got me into a beautiful car at a reasonable price! They both went above and beyond to get me financed and into a car that I was happy with! Jason took the time to show me how to use all the features as I was clueless! These people seem to actually care about they're customers, rare when your buying a used car! Thank you Jason for your kindness and no "high pressure" sales pitch! I had fun and laughed with these guys during my time at Whites! I was a little nervous and apprehensive at first but they made me feel comfortable! When I'm ready for another new car, Whites it is!!! I will tell all my friends and family!!

I got the pleasure of working with chance both times I went here to get a vehicle. He got her me into a vehicle quickly both times and a vehicle that was in good shape and for a decent price as well. Also the interest rates aren t sky high either with the finance companies that they finance through. I believe I got a 13% interest rate for my loan but I also have bad credit. That s a pretty good interest rate in my opinion. Chance is very friendly and so is the other staff here. I would recommend to others for people to come here for a vehicle !!

He asked all the right questions, set up times for test drives, very polite, and found the exact vehicle I was looking for.
