I have loved Whiskeys since the day I first walked in the door. It is a real Ketchum vibe. They have great live music and the best pizza in town!!
We walked in at 7:45pm on a Sunday evening and the first thing we were told was that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. No problem! We grabbed menus. Sat ourselves, and quickly decided what to order. No waiter. No waiter. I finally went to the bar to place our food order in time. At 8:25, no food yet. Two servers came over to check what our order had been. We told both of them ( a Burger, Garlic Fries, and Spinach salad with Chicken). By 8:35 food came- yay! The garlic fries and the burger were good! We ordered tots with the burger and got fries instead. And, the spinach chicken salad, which was listed as an entree and cost $11, was smaller than the fries appetizer and drenched in olive oil, rendering is almost inedible. Overall, super disappointing and super slow to get our food. Also felt unwelcome walking in at 7:45pm. The servers were nice.... when they came around. Very disappointing for these hungry campers.
Food was excellent!! Would definitely recommend coming here for dinner. Cool place.
Cool old Hemingway haunt. Not the way he would remember it, but the locals come here to drink. So, that hasn't changed. Big TV's solid burger, heavy pours. Just don't expect the most attentive service.

Yummy pizza and fun to go to, but some of the other food isn't that good. But I still love going there with some friends!
I went here in St. Patrick's Day 2017 and was not impressed. A cover was charged and we knew there was a live band so that was ok but the band was terrible, hard to understand and really attracted an older crowd. The drinks were pricey and service was slow. We left after 10 minutes.
Worst meal I've had in a while. Burger was cooked black and bacon was cooked to powder. Took 2 hours to get it too! Should've went to McDonalds...

Service and drinks were good. I was very shocked though when I was told by the DJ that he was not allowed to play ANY country music! It appeared to be a country-ish bar so why only play rap/pop/rock and give the dj specific instructions not to play country. I was baffled.
Wonderful atmosphere and food...great music Charlie and the Changelings...great setting...perfect early or late dinner spot for casual fare

Atmosphere is laid back. Nice place. Service was great. The food was okay... nothing to write home about. Good place to watch the game.
Nice place. They had live music and converted their place to a dance floor later on in the night! Great hot spiked drinks as well.
Good food and service was decent, despite one order being forgotten about then brought out cold. I think the biggest negative thing would be that this was first time we had ever been there and they literally kicked us out because they had a band coming in and we were in there before they had a cover. Poor policy to have.
Dollar Night, with $1 well drinks, is on both Sunday and Tuesday, starting at 9 PM. Entertainment usually doesn't start until 10 PM or later.
Great tap list, fun games for the kids, and Chelsea and JB provided top notch service!
I'm too old for Whiskey Jacques, but they carded me which I liked. My 27 yr old son and his friends loved it.
The food's great. The atmosphere upstairs is not the best. Noisy from all the commotion and fun happening downstairs. Tried the elk stroganoff and it was very good, but we couldn't hear ourselves over all the racket.
Atmosphere is great. We had pizza with group dinner.
I just had a salad, and it was pretty good. I will go back for lunch the next time I'm in town.
Laid back bar with lots of TV and live music. It's also one of the few places that is consistently open late in Ketchum.
Kinda a dark/dank place that reeks of last night s stale booze. Games all broken and eat your money, but they did reimburse us for that. 100% sure I left my credit card in the sleeve here after paying out, but called the next day and they didn t have it. Food just ok.
LOCALS BAR! Gotta go at least once. $1 drink nights!!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. Sat for 20 minutes, finally made eye contact with a server who said she'd be right with us. Never saw her again so we left. Was going to come here for New Year's Eve party but now will find some place else.
Food sub par and it seemed there was little consideration/concern for controlling Covid.
Great high end pub food at very fair prices - a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. I had an excellent meatball sandwich. They are one of the few places around with enough seating to handle large groups. The management was very helpful in accommodating our large group, and the staff did an excellent job.
Besides the Casino, Whiskey's is the best bar in town
Music was terrible .WAY to loud wouldn't go back there again unless the was actual music ..NOT a D.J.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere, clean restroom. I went there for dinner and had a great time. They have traditional bar food with a bit of a local twist, so don't go there looking for something fancy. We had great service and meet some cool people playing pool. We left before the band started to play, so I can't speak to what it is like after 10.
Fun casual local hang out. Great event hosting. Excellent staff & atmosphere.

We walked in with a fun wedding party. The staff and management was awesome and had great customer service. Live music, good vibes and great staff can t beat it! Highly recommend. Jared was awesome!!
Cool spot. Mixed scene in here. Big crowds on fri and sat nights for concerts.
Casual ski town bar with great pizza and large beer selection. Loved the vintage ski films playing on large screen behind the stage (missed the live band when I visited)
Wednesday night's at 10 they do karaoke! DJ Train hosts such a fun karaoke night!!
I m just curious as to why: There s two other tables when we walk in: Wings come out in 15 minutes for 3 people. 45 minutes later the pizza comes out 15 minutes later the sub 15 minutes later the burger bring everything out at once or not at all especially when we were one of the first people in the restaurant that night. I shouldn t get my food 75 minutes after the first people
They don't know anything about which whiskey they have in stock... No training.. They have no clue about state liquor license requirements (they probably hired someone from Utah, the security guy at the door didn't want to accept my national ID... when I stated that this requirement is only valid in Utah, then he changed his mind and told that it's their bar's rule.. luckily his colleague was friendly and knew her job and she did let us in, hence at least a 2nd star). My feeling is that it's clearly that the owner is hands off and waiting to sell the bar and building.
My favorite bar in Sun Valley and most everybody else's in town too.
