Okay, the prices are a little high, but that's to be expected with lots of local foods and organic/healthy options. The staff is super friendly and are always willing to go out of the way to help!

We do the majority of our grocery shopping here. They have lots of local options, as well as healthier alternatives to things. The bulk section is decent, excellent for dry basics such as coffee, pasta, and granola!
Great co-op with tons of vegan food and a lot of tasty vegan baked goods. Their tempeh salad (intermittently available) is amazing. For dessert, the oatmeal cream pies and ginger bars are some of my favorites.
A great college town grocery cooperative specializing in natural, organic, and obscure. Staff is friendly, helpful and exactly the sort of folks that you would expect to work at a place like this.

Always a great selection of high quality food. Staff is always very helpful. I live over 30 minutes away and have a choice of at least 10 grocery stores closer; however, I always want to shop here when I come to Ames.
