WheatFields was recommended by the staff at the hotel we were staying at and I am so grateful for the recommendation!!!! Their food and bakery items were delicious!!!!
We got different types of sandwiches for our road trip, French macaroons (so delicious), various cookies. Everyone loved everything they picked out. One of the best food choices of our road trip.

The food is mediocre down to just not very good.
It didn't used to be. At one time their food was great and the service was fine. It makes one wonder why it has changed so dramatically. Why does the staff act so disgruntled now?
The prices are exorbitant for what you receive. Their wait staff are disinterested and a bit on the snotty side. They act like you are bothering them.
Their only saving grace is their great desserts. Otherwise they would have gotten one star.

Servers almost always friendly, helpful and candid (no Swiss Steak). Food quality and quantity always a 4 to 4.5, sometimes a 5 (oops, did I mention no more Swiss...). Prices reasonable - except for the SS...
All of the WheatFields are good. Had good service, good food, and reasonable prices. The entire establishment was spotless.

Omg, the White cake with strawberry filing was the best, super moist with the perfect amount of sweetness.
Gluten-free cinnamon rolls were amazing! BUT, I got an egg scramble with hollandaise sauce and the eggs were not good, the potatoes were under cooked and the hollandaise sauce was grainy/separating.
The food and service at Wheatfields is pretty great. Their pastries are always fresh and you get good sized portions. Our waitress was friendly and never disappointed. The decor is warm and comfortable. The one downside is the constant noise level. The noise makes a conversation nearly impossible. I even had a hard time hearing the waitress. Overall though the food is worth the annoyance. Just don't plan on a romantic setting.
German chocolate cake is awesome. Cheese steak sandwich was very dry.
We had to wait for so long and ended up canceling some of our orders. We had a big group and they assigned only 1 waitress for us so she couldn't catch up and had very rough time recognizing who ordered what!!
Whole meal was messed up and burnt my roll even had a bite out of it like they used it from previous meals. And the manager actually called me rude never going back emailed the owner still no response what a joke of a business!
Bought the bread pudding bowl today. When I got home it had several spots of mold under it. I can understand this if I had bought the discounted pastry. But this was supposed to be fresh.
Always love this place when we visit Omaha. Better come with an appetite!

This was the worst dining experience my husband and I have ever experienced. Their "House Rules" of no substitutions or exclusions is ridiculous. The food was so bad and overpriced. Will never eat at the restaurant or buy anything from their bakery. Terrible service and food.
Everything is great - especially the cinnamon rolls (gluten free cinnamon rolls too!)
We were visiting from Kansas City and stopped in to check out the bakery goods. Myra was great she answered all my questions and the service was great. First time trying macaroons and they are amazing. We also purchased some buns and bars, they are delicious.
Best soups in Omaha! Strawberry wedding cake compliments any one of them. Staff is always friendly and helpful!
I used to love this place. I m here visiting family and made a point to drive twenty minutes to eat breakfast here. We were greeted by a rude hostess, sat at a table and was greeted by a nice young man, Carlos. He informed us that it was section change time and the visit continued to go down after that. The new server took my order and my wife said please start his order and come right back, I m still trying to decide . Two minutes later my food arrived and the server never came back. Ten min later she sent another server over to check on us... needless to say by this time the only thing we wanted was the check. Very disappointing visit. Please spend more time on your guest than doing your closing side work. We will find another breakfast place when we re in Omaha.
Ordered the honey fried chicken and mashed potatoes & Gravy. Plate was so hot you couldn't touch it. The potatoes/gravy was cold. The chicken was just ok. By the time I got a fresh batch of potatoes I was done eating & my husband was over 3/4 done. The new serving of potatoes/gravy, well the gravy was hot but the potatoes were not. I did have a bowl of French Onion soup and no complaint on that. This is not the first time my food had to go back because it was cold. Has happened several times. Probably won't go back.

I chose to have Christmas dinner at a restaurant this year. The 10 of us sat in the Sun Room which was lovely. All of our meals were delicious and our waiter was fantastic. Great food and very affordable.

I've always loved Wheatfields. Lots of choices, good food, etc. But it seems they have a new policy where they WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES to their menu on the weekends. I know it gets busy, but you can't make a crepe and just leave the tomatoes out?? There are so many great places to eat in Omaha. I will not be back to Wheatfields.
The food and service are great. Love to go here for breakfast for waffles and mimosas. Also, their baked goods are amazing.
OMG just had the Quiche Lorraine. It was the best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious not to mention the Hollandaise Sauce!

Prices are a little on the high side for the amount of food you get. But it's an overall pleasant experience. It's always pretty crowded and that is because people enjoy the amazing food and service. It can be pretty loud at times though.
Went for lunch today and was there an hour and had to leave without lunch because our order was still not done. 1 potato casserole. 1 slider and 1 cup of soup. Total bs
Very good food, very pore service. The waitress acted as if she would have been happier if she wasn't there, the table behind us was seated after us with just as many people and they were served before we were. But the food was very good if it had been served in a timely manner.

Food is good but service not so much. Had to ask 3 different people where our server was because noone came to greet us at our table or anything. Also the sunroom is nice but it needs to be cleaned. Cobwebs everywhere.

Quality of the food is delicious, took 10 minutes to receive our drinks. I do find it a little rediculous that a kids half waffle and one piece of bacon was over $8 and it didn't come with a drink. So a kids drink still cost $2? I ended up spending more on a kid's meal than my own meal and it hardly came with anything for him. Kids meals need to be repriced or they need to come with more food.

Wheatfields probably isn't for everyone...it has a massive menu, the prices are perhaps a little higher than others, it is in kind of an out of the way location on the back side of One Pacific Place, but it is all worth it to me, I have always had a good meal, the wait staff are always courteous and prompt, when you ask for something a little different with your meal, low and behold it actually comes that way (unlike other places). Best for breakfast food!
Been here once before and my order was correct! However, this evening I ordered the Monterey Chicken Melt without bacon. When I received my order, the sandwhich had the one thing on it I requested them to leave off! It had to be sent back and remade! The cooks need to read the order ticket and make it right the first time.
The strawberry wedding cake tasted like garbage. I don't think I have ever had such awful cake.

Food is amazing. Some might say there are too many choices. You'll never leave hungry because the portions are always surprisingly huge.
Wheatfields (mostly this location) has really gone down hill. Brought out cold soggy food (chicken and waffles)and when told about it they said they would remake it but rather took the food and put it in he microwave and brought out the exact same plate of food. Had to talk to manager and although the item was taken off the manager did not seem concerned at all about the problem. I asked him if it was their standard of practice to reheat food in the microwave and he said no but you could tell that was not the truth. This was during a busy Sunday brunch hour there is no reason to have food that isn't fresh in the first place (never is a reason. But certainly not at a busy time) However our waitress would get 5 stars and so would the bakery.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Oktoberfest plate and it was hands down the most amazing meal we have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, tasted phenomenal and the service was fast and had a great ambiance to it. GO HERE
