I eat at this location at least 5 or 6 times a month and always tip well but I will NEVER go back! I asked for something to be lightly cooked and they said sure no problem, something I have done multiple times at this location without any problems. Today it was actually overcooked and they said the cook doesn't speak any English so they were not able to explain it to her. Then she got upset with me for saying this wasn't ok and talked over me I guess to try and make me feel dumb. Then the manager came over and said I was overreacting. Not once did anyone say sorry! Do not eat here...

I feel like the quality of food is going down. Their bakery is still great, but the restaurant food seemed to be more about portion size the quality. They also will not split up the check, so it is a horrible place to go if you are not paying as a group.

I wrote a review on Wheatfields in the past giving 5 stars. I m now changing my review based off of our visits in the last 3 months.
Number one: The wait staff is hit or miss. We have had exemplary service and we have had the worst service (so bad you can t even fathom leaving a tip.) Our most recent visits have been of the worst rating.
Number two: Not allowing customers to remove ingredients from menu selections on the weekend. I don t consume dairy, asking to remove cheese from a salad is not allowed on the weekends. That s the most ridiculous concept in a customer driven business!
Number three: I normally don t even notice the prices, because we visit the Pacific location 1-2 times a week and we enjoy the food so much. However, if you won t make changes for a customer and expect $11-$15 per person (not including additional beverages) that s way not worth the money to me. We have a family of five, we spend $60-$70 each visit when we are all dining...you have most likely lost our frequent visits and business.
Number four: As mentioned above, we dine in 1-2 times a week, because of this I m very aware of what each menu item comes with and how each item is plated. The last few visits the same exact items have been ordered and they are missing a side, garnish, or topping each visit. That s shotty service for a $11 meal for a child. I m just losing interest in paying so much for mediocre food, selection, and service.

The place was packed so it's obviously considered very good. I ordered a Belgian waffle, which was just a little overcooked. That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

They have a large menu. It's a bit pricey, but apparently people feel it is worth it since they were so busy. Customers were carrying out a lot of bakery items as well as enjoying the restaurant's food.

You may have to stand in line to wait a few minutes, but it's worth it. You should try it! I'm looking forward to trying their honey-fried chicken.

Great food but all of their to go menu pricing has been raised but not advertised. Both the online menu and board overhead are inaccurate. When asked the cashier told me yea, sorry.
For anyone on a family budget or picking up for the office this is a huge problem. Please resolve immediately.

This place! First of all....it should be Bakery and Eatery...not the other way around. This is seriously delicious baked goods. All of them!! But yes people love to eat here too. Food is well prepared but very causally served. It's just good stuff.

First time going and our reserved table got seated, and it took 30+ minutes to get drinks and then another 15+ minutes to order. Our server was very rude and almost all 9 of us in our party got sick. I'm told the bakery would be your best bet.

Love this place! Eat here often partly for the great menu (wonderful quiche and incredible desserts!), but also for the fantastic servers. Every server I've had the pleasure of meeting has been wonderful. Great place. Great food, great servers, nice open and bright seating area. Highly recommended.

I gave this place 4 stars because I ordered some fried chicken, which tasted like KFC, and it was really good but it was super salty almost as if someone had taken a cup of salt and poured it on the chicken. Also didn't help that we had to ask our waitress for a refill on water...

Ordered online for pick up at location for Howards address but after stopping by and waiting in line 40 minutes. They told me they didnt have it in that location. Then I tried to call the other location to see if they had it after 15 minutes of trying to call with no answer. I gave up. Worst experience ever with ordering online.

A must place to eat in Omaha. This place is on my top 5 list of places to eat in Omaha. You will not be disappointed. Oh did I mention it's also a bakery? It is with great sweets and fine breads.

I have been to Wheatfields several times and tried a variety of menu items. Everything that I have tried was delicious! It was served hot by a friendly and efficient wait staff. Their bakery items are out of this world! So diverse and tempting.
My four star rating is because Wheatfields has outgrown it's parking lot. It's awkward and full during all open hours.

Food not all that spectacular just ordinary in my opinion. Had an issue with my account being double charged for our meal and called and was treated very rudely took 3 days to correct. Wont be going here again

Sadly, I used to go there all the time for takeout, but now they have religious and political signs right in front. Very unwelcoming. They also do not require servers/kitchen staff to wear masks. Including the owner. If they don t care about their staff and customers, then no thanks!!!

We dined for breakfast at the Pacific place location, and we were joined by 2 cockroaches at our table while we ate. We complained to the staff who explained they are aware of the problem. She made no apology. I stated we will not return.

It's a good time there every time walking through the bakery is always a plus. I do have to say at times the price of the food. That could be better. Service is great they never have attitudes like other places that I've been.

Delicious, but a bit pricey, especially if you order coffee. A regular bottomless cup is $3.29 vs. a specialty coffee is $4.29. Kinda overpriced if you ask me. My specialty latte wasn't great. I had a cherry strudel which was amazing (came with my meal), omelet and fresh fruit were delicious! Whole meal plus tip was almost $28. For 1 person, that's a bit much. I took half the omelet and fruit home, so two meals for $14 not too shabby. I'll be back, but probably not regularly.

Beautiful place to eat!

Not practising social distancing. Using all seats and booths in restaurant. Many workers not wearing masks. Made me feel unsafe. Food was ok to good. Been there in the past, not as happy this time.

Waitress was incapable of understanding what milk ...

Waitress was incapable of understanding what milk free means. I am an ovo pescatarian. I do eat eggs and fish. In exasperation after the waitress makes her fifth suggestion of gravy on top of salmon in place of hollandaise sauce, I call the manager when the waitress doesn't return to finalize my order and have no faith she got the order right in the first place. The manager completes our order, having herself offered two milk substitutes (these people are not too sharp). Having fasted 25 hours, and our newest order having finally been placed after 50 minutes at the restaurant, I request bread to break our fast. The dinner rolls are delivered. Tasted like sugary Wonder bread - but I say not a word.

I overhear discussion behind my back. Apparently the first waitress is bent out of shape that we asked for bread given our dietary restrictions. Whose business is it of anyone's if I ask for a bite of bread?! THEY delayed our order and our meal. Next, the same waitress (who no longer is our waitress), returns to our table, invades our evening, and announces she is upset and angry at me. Totally inappropriate, and rude. We get up to leave. The manager comes out with a big threatening 6 foot four dishwasher guy. I guess the waitress addressed me with the manager's permission. Forget protocol, listen to the customer, ask what happened, assess. Had it been someone on my staff and learned that they had verbally jumped a customer, no question, the employee would be instantly fired, I'd apologize profusely and entreat the customer in any way that i could to heal the situation - not start an argument in public. I flip on my phone video. They back off. We continue to exit.

This place is absolutely bizarre, unprofessional, inattentive, and the manager is inept and the workers poorly trained. My family was in the food industry for 70 years. I recalled that we had been there previously, and the server (now the manager) had been as dense as tonight's waitress, just is 40 years older - so this was a typical evening for them. How do people like this rise to management?

While I always treat service people with respect, I do believe in the motto: the customer is always right. Clearly if this was the motto of this business they would enjoy better ratings here. An added note to the manager: ask the customer what happened before you get riled up. Workers do cover for their mistakes. Learn to listen better. Know about the contents of your products, and when in doubt, ask the chef. Waitress: grow up. Never rail on a customer - ever, or you do damage to your business, and in a normal well managed restaurant you will be fired on the spot - but then, this would NEVER happen in a well run establishment.

PS: We went to the Outback Restaurant, great waiter, great service, great food, no problem answering my dietary request, and our waiter was happy to ask the cook about ingredients and get back to us. In fact, the manager and waiter Carlos went out of their way to please us, as though they personally felt responsible for the failures within their own industry. Wow! It was refreshing going to a restaurant that was eager to please, knowledgable, and professional - and Outback is a steak house!

Thank you Outback!
