Fantastic pools for all ages. Life guards constantly attentive. Wave pool is great fun.

You need to go on, off peak time to really enjoy the pool. Bit crowded on weekend. But the facilities is not to shabby.

What a rort. The staff overcharge for an event and say it's the event organiser who is charging. Well that's a blatant outright lie. I did check with the organiser and it wasn't him. So stop overcharging and telling lies about it. Even the standard spectator charge is out of sync with other centre's and the facility isn't that flash anymore.

These people need to post shutdowns,,staff meetings etc on the google search and answer their phone when calling to check times.Twice we have been down there with a car full of excited kids and have been turned away with shutdowns.Waiting 15 mins to answer a call is not good public relations for a council run facility......

people all seem to absolutely love this place however there is a ridiculous amount of chlorine in the pools which isn't great if you regularly go there

It's the best place to train stay fit. Commitment is the way to a healthy life. Early morning workout leads to a great day!

Most entertaining place for the kids they just love it when we take them swimming here

Great facilities and different pool temps is helpful when you have kids

Its actually a really good place, but the fact that the main pools been closed alot while my daughter has her swimming lessons, it is just abit too often in my opinion. But i do think for gym membership this is a gold mine with all the facilities available to you.

I like it there but the changerooms and toilets can be messy due to lots of use.

A fun place for kids, but sometimes there are long waiting periods during school holidays.

Today they were closed for hour due to health n safety..but not first time thr.today was first for hydrotherapy which was good.

Quite run down spa and sauna. Spa is broken at the moment. Steam room has that musky wet dog smell.
The swimming lanes looked like 25m, has a dedicated dive pool and high dive boards.
There is no sign but you are meant to pay to use the hydroslide, you buy a wrist band and you can use it for half an hour or something.

I go there for my physio. Excellent spot for the family pools, slide and spa. They have a gym too

Great place to bring kids they are free to get in up to a certain age and only 1 dollar to spectate

All ways closed dirty locker rooms not very helpful staff not enough life guards on duty

Great pricing and good facilities. My 2 kids do swimming lessons here and the instructors are competent and knowledgeable.

Am about to start regular swimming here shortly so watch this space for an update...

Good pools and facilities however go there early as only pool out West.

The swim school staff do a good job, nice and patient when the child requires it with just the right amount of push.
The pools themselves are ok, though I find the temperature difference between the pools a bit too different (when one jumps between the toddler, family and main pool, the difference is bone chillingly different, especially in winter).

They have twelve pools so there is something for everyone from young children to athletes there is a gym and a cafe too

So much of fun the waves are coming time and again well controlled with fully monitored safety advance warnings are given the whole family with kids wait in anticipation that is the climax every one loves it. Above all the rescuers are planted every were .what an amazing site to visit and enjoy .safety fore every one is there a very highly international standard service is provided.

Family place, clean n tidy clothing rooms, warm waters, steam sauna available. .

The best Pools in Auckland. Over two years Ive never once thought the pools need a clean. I love the upstairs gym and the staff is top notch. Thanks Nick for all the patience and counting reps. You are the best personal trainer ever!!!

Great and very cheap. Took my daughter there with her friends for the day. It only cost me $1.

I was involved in a fire at West Waves (3/06/2018). This was around at 7pm ish?..

Wide range of activities and pool uses supported. Been using the facilities off and on for years .

Great facility. Helpful staff. Try ringing though to reschedule a swim assessment time...... Eventually you get through to the Council call centre who vet/ screen your call. Finally put through to Swim School, I think, and then the operator states that she ll have to email them and they will call me. Waiting. Waiting.
It s like ringing the MI5.

Need more parking. Separate pool for water walking. One lane is too small esp during peak hours like the traffic.

If you can get in before it reaches maximum capacity, it's pretty much your only public pool option in West Auckland. The changing room cubicles can get quite icky later in the day (wet clumps of hair on the wet floor) and there always seems to be something closed for some reason. Parking can be a problem and lane pool availability is severely impacted by competitions that generally take out most weekends during summer, which is really annoying. Lifeguards are friendly though and they play great music inside the pool complex.

The staff are really nice and helpful, I have a gym and swim pass and its really useful, the price is a bit higher than other gyms but also other gyms don't have pools and spas and saunas all in one so you're definitely getting your moneys worth,

Very good place for everyone, swimming pools for all ages, spas for different ages, cafe two levels gym and school holiday programs available and good price too.

Dirty, smelly, dated but other than it is convenient.

A very strong smell of chlorine all the time. Great that it's free for kids.

I love swimming here, its always nice and tidy. Only down side is there are always quite a few people in the spas.

Brown Alert in main pool closed it other wise great time.

Waited for one hour to go to enter pools as casual entry was full. Showers were cold in gals changing room. Was very disappointed as family spa was closed and that's the reason I went.

Parking is good unless there is swim meets happening. Good gym and pools. Friendly staff. They have public toilets and change areas as well as members only.

Everytime I want to do laps, 25 meter lanes are closed, or maintenance is required, or booked out for water polo. weekly payments for nothing, not happy.

New staff that was hired are rude and not proffesional at all. I was going here every week for the past 4years and it was great, just remove them and hire someone else.

The spa hasn't been working for ages that's a bummer otherwise would be 5 stars

Could be better, showers need painting and cleaning spa pool only has bubbles for 3 minutes and then turns off for 5 minutes all the other pools centres have much better systems in place including the poorer districts
Henderson population is increasing please do better
have paid full price to find out the olympic pool was being used by others and had to leave
have paid full price and spa pool not working properly
apart from that staff were helpful and friendly I would suggest a visit to other centres may provide some inspiration

Love the local pool. It's big and there are a lot of activities for different age people

Best place to relax and have a stretch and a steam or sauna visit at least once a week to unwind dont forget your swimmers.

Where is it advertised that the Hydrotherapy Pool is booked from 9 to 1pm for lessons on Sunday Morning. The new program for hydro pool starting 3 Aug. only shows Mond. to Frid. Rather confusing.I turned up at 11.15 to be told that pool was booked but there was nobody in it .There was a notice board at poolside saying classes.Should it not be a good idea to have the sign at entrance to Building.

I lane swim here and it can get busy so I try early on the weekends. Friendly staff and a good pool and sauna.

Given the cost of entry (Kids are free ),and safety procedures they put in place west wave is pretty good to go to

Nice range of aquatic and recreation facilities. I got a discounted membership through Exercise Association of New Zealand.
I am only using gymnasium and it is great. However, I deducted two stars as I don t like their shower facility and slightly pricey than other gym.

Kids always have loads of fun there. It's a special treat for them. Air vent could be improved a bit in summer time.
