It's showing its age again. The council needs to keep the facilities up to date. Also kids seems to be peeing or pooing in the pool alot. Every time I've been this year a pool has been closed

I was with my girlfriend & a friend. Who pay for our way in to the pool. A teaching him how to swim.

It's a decent place for shows. Was attending Model X, but the venue is great.

Great place. Fun for kids as well as just being able to swim laps

Pools need lots of maintaince. Stairs full of power.

The Women's changing room was dirty & Disgusting people are just nasty & lazy.

I love going there with my 3 year old, it s fun just going from one lap pool to another and end up in the spa. Good coffee and afghan biscuit at the end.

Attended a fun baby sensory class here. It's a great community facility.

Nice big complex and lots of different options whether it be lane swimming, water walking, diving or hanging out with the kids in the wave pool. Slight drawback is the changing facilities. They could do with an upgrade and more of them, especially on busy days.

Sauna room is closed for about month now. That is why 4 out of 5

Good resource for the west, 3 kiddy pools plus a big one. Waves are a nice touch. Family friendly with a hydroslide and a spa. Try to avoid peak times, it can get a bit crazy

Had a good few laps today, so nice and peaceful. Boys loved the waves and hot tub

Am over constant maintenance, flooding, toddler pools being out of order, family spa not being available or at capacity when clearly it's not. Customer service needs an overhaul too. West Auckland needs another pool complex, I'd rather travel to another facilty than come to westwave again, which is a shame as it's my local.

Smaller pool than I expected. My son has autism and freaked out at the alarm sound for the waves. When we first arrive he ran to the bathrooms and cried for half an hour and couldn't regulate himself for the rest of the day. Please be aware families with children who have asd. That it's very loud!

Always cheap entertainment but since Auckland city council took over place is gone backwards no money gets put into the upkeep and children run it so horrible music

They are working hard on improving the facilities constantly. Features wave pool, lane pool, Sauna, steam room, toddler pool, swim school pool and large family change booths. Maybe too big as it is always busy. So plan in some extra time to fund a car park and to wait to change. Other than that just great. Oh. Also has a little takeaway cafe for a good coffee while you wait for your kids to finish their lessons.

Family Friendly Fantastic!! Multiple big changing rooms, baby/toddler pools, tons of parking, polite staff. Amazing fun for my young family. Very impressed!

We are new to the pool. We used the pool two times so far. We wish we knew this place earlier. So far, the pools we used are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, including reception, staff we enquired with when walk past. Lifeguards work diligently. Facilities are big. Everyone can find places to their likes.

Great for my kids. Aged 3 and 5. The facilities for them such as the toddler pool and the wave pool are awesome. Hopefully soon they can go on the hydroslide. My only issue is 4 of the last 5 times have meant us waiting 45 minutes to get in. It's a very busy pool.

Service and treatment provided was excellent.

Not impressed. Poor service. Called ahead to arange something only to get there and be told we couldn't do what we'd arranged. And travelled from south Auckland specifically. Very disappointed in them.

Diving boards great, but the changing rooms and toilets have scarred me deep inside

Nice cheap place to take the children for a fun day out

My kids have learnt to swim safely here, by having fun in a range of different pools. Don't forget to try the lazy river. Public amenities at their best.

We usually enjoy going to West Wave, however on this visit the waterside was not working and there was a problem with the wave pool. This led to 2 very upset children, neither of the faults were mentioned on the West Wave website at the time.

my experience was worst
i visited yesterday with my five friends. their customer service is annoying. girls inside full of attitude i asked something nicely with please she dont explain me she said no with full attitude

I'm not impressed with the customer service at all. They are all rude and tough. Only the lady with shorter blonde curly hair is helpful and friendly.

Love it. Awesome environment. Enjoy the afternoon swims there every week

What a great facility! Dive well, variable length AND variable depth pool, separate facility for families with kids, great change rooms, very clean and so many activities going on.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Parking is difficult but you eventually get a parking.

Terrible customer service.
The ladies at the front desk are consistently rude and rolling their eyes when asked a simple question such as," When does the kids area open?".

Shame the wave pools were not going. Wish we where told when paying to go in.

One of the better communal facility compare to many others. No wonder it is always full
