Great resort with many different things to enjoy, including horseback riding! The gym is nice and the pools are beautiful. And you can't beat waking up to the view of a mountain everyday! Overall, had a great time!

Friendly service from the moment we arrived. Beautiful property set against foothills. Clean and welcoming grounds. Room was spacious and had private patio. Probably the most comfortable hotel mattress I've experiencedin my travels. The three pilots were heated allowing all- day enjoyment. Breakfast at Gold provided yummy food and great views. The reflexology service at the spa was amazing.

Great property with walking trail on site. I love how the rooms were all accessible from the outside so no elevators/hallways which feels safer during Covid. The food was amazing. The highlight was the local singer on Thursday evening on their patio. Perfect accompaniment to a great dinner

The room was nice, and quiet, considering the loud party taking place in the ballroom. Well insulated. Nice little walking trails and multiple pools. Tv was nice, but got poor reception. Good for a single night in Tucson.

We came down to Tucson just for a short, one night getaway. Came in rather late Saturday night, but our room was still available and the staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming!

The room was much larger than I thought it would be! The whole room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We had planned on going out, but because we got in so late we stayed in and had room service. Everything was delicious, but I specifically recommend the dessert nachos! Those were so especially rich and decadent! Definitely my favorite part of the meal!

Since we were only staying for the night we didn't get a chance to hike or enjoy any of the other amenities, but our stay was certainly satisfying enough to warrant a return visit! And I would recommend this resort to anyone else looking for a lush stay in Tucson!

I like the room and the view however the cleanliness needs improvement. I found trash under the bed and a pair of panties. I alerted the front desk, hoping that upon my return to the room after work it would be remedied. It was not. I am emailing the office with pictures. There are nice trails and the food at the Lookout is very well prepared. I did have some issues with the clock and cable but those were remedied quickly.

Was our first time staying here. Property definitely had its pros and cons.

Pros- we stayed in a jr suite with kids and it felt very spacious. Loved that they gave us a room with a walk out patio onto grass and close to the pool. Clubhouse is very nice, pools were heated and warm enough to swim in on a windy 70 degree day. Close to some great dining options. Nice walking path.

Cons- property is older and definitely needs some remodeling. Our room had visible mold, a shower door that would not close and water poured out onto the floor, our sliding glass door completely fell off the first time we opened it. When we notified staff about our shower door (twice) nothing was done to fix it so we had to bring extra towels from the pool to soak up all the water that would run out.

Back in the day I am sure this was a four star, but I would be hard pressed to rate it anything above a 3 star. It has potential with updating to be a very nice hotel.

While the facilities are definitely showing wear and tear, it's a huge, beautiful property with quite nice rooms and amenities. The food is average, the bar selection above average. No complimentary coffee in business meeting rooms, which was inconvenient.

I would give 5 stars but I was not pleased with the unfriendly attitude from the ladies at the front desk. The bell hop guys were excellent at providing customer service. I would definitely come back due to their courteous and polite service. The rooms were also excellent, And definitely worth the price very spacious and luxurious.

Was at the Lookout Bar & Grill and it was OK, but the staff was pretty limited. Only one person at the bar and a few wait staff. For as many people that were there, they needed almost twice that many!

A well regarded and beautifully friendly place. While the buildings may feel less modern, the facilities, pool, food, and staff are just great. The wait staff gave my daughter these massive carrots to feed the horses that are on the property. Well worth the trip, if you re looking for a personal experience. Tohono Chul is a beautiful botanical garden very close by.

Checking in was a breeze. They even upgraded us to a junior sweet. The room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. We ordered room service and the food was quick, hot and delicious. We had dinner at the Gold restuarant. I had lamb, the lady had the slow roasted chicken and both were delicious. The next day we went to the day spa. The facial and massage was amazing. We felt fresh and rejuvenated. The pool was fun, clean and plenty of pool toys. Our experience was great and we're definitely going back.

It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful. We used a conference room that met what we needed. Our group's rooms were spread out from each other. Small things needed upkeep in the room like shower head was spraying everywhere, little hole in the wall from security lock on door, and bathroom door squeaked when opening. Overall, great stay for my conference.

Large double room. Beds were quite comfortable. Furnishings could use an upgrade. Bathroom was good. Rooms in casita area are all on one level. Rooms closer to lobby have two or more floors.

Looks and seems like it was once a nice place but now is kind of run down. Cupboards in room dont shut all the way, window blinds dont shut, thermostat was broken. And for as much as was paid for the rooms, can't believe they don't offer free coffee in the lobby.

Ugh. 1984 called and they want their hotel back. Shabby, worn out room furnishings and lackluster housekeeping. Also very snarky clerk at front desk. Will not be back. Will stay at the Hilton resort nearby

Been coming here for the past twenty years. Great for a quick getaway or family reunion. Popular spot for wedding. Most hotel staff is friendly. Dee who works the front desk has been there for a least a decade (if not more). She's always helpful and friendly. Great views of the city. Close to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Most rooms are over seven hundred sq ft with patios, walk in shower, etc. Very spacious rooms, friendly service, views of city and mountains, spa amenities, gym, courts, Starbucks, and beautiful desert landscape. Why stay anywhere else?

Classic well-known hotel resort of old. Wyndham seriously needs to up their game and get on the task of remodeling, firing 50% of old staff who are way to comfortable and do not put the customer 1st, then hire a younger more respectful staff that treats the customer as they're appropriate to a "Grand Resort" befitting their actual name. The place has great bones.....but needs way more attention. We had 4 cockroaches in Jr. Suite!! It took double calls per issue to get resolution. Patio furniture missing, closet door broke, etc.... Retraining of personnel is key, especially in housekeeping and hospitality. This is definetley NOT Wyndham's level of quality. The Loews Ventana Canyon resort is AMAZING! Westward Look "Grand" Resort could relive it's glory if investment and attention to detail occurs.

First off this is a resort with a 30$ resort fee however it felt like the furthest thing away from a resort! The rooms are dusty old the carpet is covered in stains! The beds and furniture is extremely outdated! The rooms smell unpleasant! The bathrooms are decently big however... lots of bugs around patio and room area! Bed sheets dont look very clean....the clean towels dont smell clean rather dingy and musty!

Nice place in a good location along the Tucson foothills.

Parking is a tad tight, but not impossible. The restaurant is nice and convenient, however there are many good alternatives nearby too.

A good resort at a good value.

The website is very misleading about the views from each room. If you have other options then don t go here. Even the better rooms have worn and outdated furniture. We got a room that was supposed to have a Mountain View but instead gave us a view of gravel. They were nice about switching rooms and we got a mountain view. The breakfast is not free but is put onto the bill.

Westward look is my first choice each time I visit Tucson. For over 16 years i have chosen to stay here over any other location and it only gets better. The grounds are perfectly kept and the staff have been incredible. The surrounding desert and all of its wildlife is fantastic. One employee I had the pleasure of speaking with daily, Collin, who works with room service, has a charming disposition. His sense of humor and commitment to excellent service was greatly appreciated by both me and my family. I highly recommend this hotel

Room was awesome, property and staff very nice, good food, good location. I would go back again.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the pool area was very bland for such a great property.

Beautiful grounds and buildings. In hills overlooking Tucson, with some night views of Tucson lights. Peaceful and quiet, gently lit landscaping provides visual interest 24 hours. My casasita suite was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return.
