Service was awesome, however my food lacked basic temp... i wouldn't recommend the dirty biscuit and gravy, for a hot held item it should have been served hot. Also found small pieces of foil.

Unreasonably expensive, food sub-par and tiny portions.

Great breakfast, friendly staff and place is really cute.

This place was packed when we got there, and the wait was a little long, but the food and service made up for it. It was a great place to go in the mountains and the food was delicious even though I forgot what I ordered. :)

Been here multiple times. Great place for breakfast and brunch. Easy parking. Can get very crowded during morning to afternoon hours.

But the food has always ranged from good to excellent. The service is always super friendly. Would recommend if you are in Vail or even just driving by.

Food is always good. Have been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure you take home pastries for breakfast.

I ordered French Toast and this guy I m with.... my husband, he ordered a cheeseburger with bacon. Food was great. Prices were reasonable, $25 for both our orders. But the guy at the bar!!!!!

The BEST Breakfast place. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch and the food was terrible. Hats off to the cook at Westside Cafe!!

The sign on Westbound Interstate 70 a 1/2 mile before the West Vail Exit is how we found Westside Cafe. It was in the morning (wanting breakfast) and were looking for a CAFE, not a Vail Restaurant....we end up making a great choice. My wife & I both looked at each other with dismay.....after all, we were in Vail.....we thought we were going to pay $15 for a $5 breakfast.....quite the opposite. Everyone we know that is traveling thru Vail gets the strong recommend from us about WestSide Cafe.

Great breakfast place. I had the Elvis Waffle with all sorts of good stuff like peanut butter, honey, bananas, chocolate, bacon... Can't go wrong there! Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Not as good as it used to be. I have been eating at the westside since I moved to Vail full time 12 years ago. It used to be awesome and now I have been going there less and less lately. I haven't been there for about a month now and thought I'd try it again. Unfriendly service, had to ask for a lemon for my iced tea, no refill on tea. I did get the lemon, but not without am attitude. They never asked how my meal was and it wasn't good. The gyro was totally weak. It had a very little meat and almost no feta or tzatziki sauce. Again never asked how it was so I was unable to ask for more sauce or express my dislike for my lunch. I will not be back for a long time even though I live across the street. Very disappointed again and very unfortunate how it has gone majorly downhill. Oh well I guess it's not the end of the world

After a stressful morning Joe and the Westside Cafe greatly improved our day. Everything we ordered was delicious, the bloody marys were top notch and Joe C was a fantastic server! Will be going back and requesting his section!

Very casual good feel restaurant with a friendly wait staff and tasty unique entrees. This place is well worth a visit or two on your trip to Vail.

Food is to die for. Don t let the tourist breakfast trick you! Highly recommend the caprese bene and the huecos rancheros! Oh and their brunch cocktails are also a must!

I seriously doubt the other reviews. This place is hilarious.bthe Fish and chips is like a very poor quality fish stick that is burned, and is actually served on a stick! They have never heard of malt vinegar. 23.00! Wait staff is awesome. I feel sorry for them. And to top it off the seating is mostly communal. I have no idea what the other 539 reviewers saw. Maybe breakfast is good??

Very friendly attentive staff. Tuesday night is street taco night and the shrimp ones were delicious. We try to eat here every time we come to Vail.

Excellent place for breakfast. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Food was fantastic and the menu has plenty of options. Celiac friendly and reasonable prices. Definitely worth stopping in.

July 2 2020. Went in for breakfast and it was delicious!! My husband had the plain waffles and pancakes and I had the yogurt parfait. The yogurt was perfect!! 3 year old had some fruit and was happy. Will come back when we visit Colorado again

Granted I only had a bloody mary and a Gore Creek IPA from the Vail Brewing Co., but both were great, and hey, it's in Vail. From looking at others plates the food looked great and so did the menu selection. Worth a stop if only for a quick drink.

Maybe the worst street tacos I ve had in my life. It tasted like someone cooked a steak poorly without ever seasoning it and then left it on the counter awhile and then cut it into chunks and put some terrible salsa and onions on a store bought tortilla. They also forgot the sauce on our burgers. Never again.

We've been eating here for years- always for brunch on our way back to Denver from mountain trips. A very solid choice with hearty portions and very good service.

I want to leave my original review in which i left 5 stars below bc i used to love coming here and ate here religiously. We are vegans and this is one of the only spots if not the only one that had any options. Recently they removed *every* option, breakfast and lunch. Why? Please bring back options for your customers, you think you removed items that didn't sell, you actually removed a bunch of potential eaters from your establishment bc they don't have anything they can eat. Not smart. Go check out the milk aisle at city market and tell me people aren't vegan here.

OG: We come here for breakfast all the time and love it. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders do a great job, shout out to Tom. They also have a rewards program for breakfast which is great for the locals!

OMG the French Dip sandwich is amazing and the corn chowder is tasty with a beautiful presentation. Be sure to buy one of their cute mugs for a reminder of a great time!

As a longtime local, I can't say enough good things about Westside. This place is awesome and you should go if you are in town. Excellent food, especially breakfast, welcoming atmosphere, good service. Also a great deal during happy hour. Highly recommend!

Food want that great. Had a salad with grilled chicken. The grill chicken was old but the salad was okay. Should have left out the grilled chicken. Sliders were so-so.

Food, service and ambience was perfect. Attached the doubltree made it easy to bring our kids here. My wife said it was the best biscuits and gravy outside of Texas she has had. Dave our server for breakfast was extremely thoughtful. It's gets busy but the staff was fast without making us feel rushed. We also had lunch here the day before and Joe remembered us the next day . A+ all around.

I ate here several times while staying here for a week at a seminar. Service was consistently good, and usually just excellent. My dog was welcomed on the patio with dog biscuits and water, and everything I ordered was high quality and made as ordered.

For breakfast you must have the "south of the border" Benedict (I subbed bacon for pulled pork) and the biscuits and gravy are some of the best I've ever had. Great coffee too!

Don't let the fact that this is co-located with a Holiday Inn fool you, it's a great spot haunted by locals every day. Many think it's the best basic breakfast fair in the Vail and Eagle vallies. Plus there are subtle culinary twists, including southwestern versions and the occasional magic ingredient like sun dried tomoatos.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast! Service and food are always excellent. The location is very easy and they have a parking lot unlike most other restaurants in Vail. Great food selection as well!
