I was not too thrilled with today's shopping experience. Longo's prides itself on being a high-end supermarket offering great customer service, however the service was pretty poor today. I needed to buy grapes, which were in open bags and sold by weight . The bags were full and had a lot more than I needed, but I didn't want to touch the grapes myself so I asked a produce clerk if he could give me only half a bag and I was told "we don't do that" and he casually walked away. Surely this simple request could have been easily accommodated and could have shown at least some interest in assisting me. Perhaps some of your staff could use some retraining in customer service as this produce clerk today obviously could not be bothered to assist me.

As a Wedding Planner, I get to work with individuals of all fields and personalities. Unfortunately yesterday, we had a little mishap with a vendor. My clients' cake arrived in shambles. Having been a late afternoon on a Sunday, and knowing that it would be nearly impossible to have their 3 tiered cake replicated in 1 hour. I made a call into Longo's at Weston and Rutherford in state of panic. This was a big day for the new Mr. & Mrs., and to celebrate it without a cake was not an option. A gentleman in the bakery department by the name of George retrieved that call and welcomed the idea of creating a wedding cake right there in the Longo's Bakery. He set aside a few different sized cakes that he planned on selling to me in replacement. Upon arriving to Longo's Bakery, George accompanied by his colleague Matthew greeted me and rushed to get everything in order. George had already prepared a new wedding cake for my couple. The gentlemen packaged up a bunch of slab cakes for me while I rushed over to cash out. By the time I returned to the Bakery section, George already had a carriage filled with all the boxes. He then followed me out to the car to help me load up the truck so I can be on my way (as the reception was to commence in a short 20 minutes). I would like to formally thank George and Matthew for a job well done - Professional, accommodating, and kind. You saved the day, one cake at a time - literally! Cheers boys and keep up the great work.

Very impressed with the way this store is dealing with the health and safety componenet during this pandemic. There was such a variety of selections in each department, especially the bakery. Strawberry Shortcake is to die for. The ready made food was a bonus. I got the full size lasagna for my wife and children, who loved it. Shoutout to the cashier Christian for all his help, always being so friendly with my children who LOVE him! and always making my shopping experience so pleasurable.

It was my first time shopping at Longo s Weston. I usually head over to the Newmarket location closer to my house, but since I was in the area this time, I ended up at this location on Weston and Rutherford Road. I have to say, boy am I ever glad I ended up there. The cleanliness of the store as well as the covid safety measures that were taken, were very impressive. I felt very safe and comfortable shopping throughout the store. As someone who is at high risk, i was very pleased to see social distancing rules being followed. The longos staff did a very good job with directing shoppers such as a very pleasant welcome, which i was greeted with hand sanitizer. I have to especially say how kind a worker, who I ran into named Christian, treated me today. I ended up running into him as I needed some help, and he was more than kind enough to assist me. As I lined up to pay for my items, he made sure to ask me if I had found all that I needed. I was very impressed by this. His willingness to make sure I had found all my items made me feel like he cared. Because of the saftey measures, and Christian who is an amazing worker, i might just have to make this my permanent grocery store!

Going in a time like this Longo's has made it very visual and easy for us to shop. Visual laneways and one way traffic makes sure physical distancing is followed. Great work Longo's!!

I always love shopping at Longo's. The quality of food is very fresh and their customer service is great. I always look forward to seeing my favourite staff member Christian. His people skills are outstanding. No matter what time of day, every time I enter the store, he is ready to help and he is so welcoming. He always asks me if i need assistance in finding items. When he's on cash, he goes beyond the call of duty to give me great service. He takes pride in separating and packaging my food with care. His smile can light up a room. He is a great asset to Longo's dedicated and proud. Thank you Longo's and Christian for always making me feel welcome!
