This was the first camp I've ever went to. We had a school trip for a week there back in 2005. I was in the 5th grade. It was the best field trip I've ever had the pleasure of being on. I learned a lot and had tons of fun. I cried when it was time to leave. Thank you!

Recharge your soul, focus your mind and energize your body...spent 3.5 days here in December and the effect on our 91 school kids is phenomenal. They have seen fiest hand the relationship we have to our fellow creatures, flora and fauna. They learn to respect and love themselves and others. The reason I took 1 star away is simply due to the unimaginative meals. Kids are learning about nature but eating things like ready made greasy pork products, sloppy ground beef, soggy tater tots, mass produced potato salads. Kids at 10-14 years have complex palettes and understand nutritional value. Ready made tv dinner style food must be replaced with genuine cooking with real ingredients. Please think about this as undernourished kids on plastic food don't thrive as rapidly as those getting enough protein, fruits and vegetables on their plate.

Went here for a 6th grade class field trip for a whole week. Did the giant swing, playground in the air, and many other things.. Met an AMAZING person named Witakae and our class truly loved him. It was heartbreaking leaving and I remember most my class in tears by the end.

Beautiful camp and retreat center in the middle of the redwood forest. Guest group rentals, camp ministry and an amazing place for schools to bring students for outdoor education. 5 stars all the way!

Best CAMP for adults ever. Outstanding care from all staff, superb food, and very comfortable accommodations. Our cabin is rustic, but has a heater!!! Love the environment and hiking trails. Saw salmon in the creek and walked the labyrinth. Great programs!!! This is a treasure to all who experience it.

I go here every summer. The food is good, for camp food, and some tastes like it could be form a restaurant. I ve gone to Sherwood and Buccaneer camps here, though I liked Buccaneer better. The cabins at Sherwood are nice, although a little cramped. The activities are good, although you don t have free access to the challenge courses during free time. Buccaneer was great. The activities are awesome, we always had access to the challenge courses (which I highly recommend), and the games were amazing. Shiver me Timber s is a great game, and I wish I could play it every day.My only complaint with Buccaneer is that there isn t any real toilets or at the campsite, and there aren t any showers remotely close. You have to walk all the way down the hill to take a shower! Some of the campfire songs are bad, but some are great. I would highly recommend Westminster Woods for anyone that is thinking about going. This is a great experience and you should try!

Food good but not served hot enough. Toilets iffy. Needs handrails on all stairs especially due to slippery outdoor leaves, etc. Management very responsive to problems like broken bed, lack of pillows, etc. Ample parking. Beautiful property in the redwoods. Would return.

The Woods is my home away from home. The tall redwood trees, the Dutch Bill Creek, and the beautiful grounds make for a humbling, peaceful presence. It does feel like a spiritual place, where one can walk around, find rest, and be inspired by nature. The cabins and dining hall provide what you need and the staff are people I'd consider friends.
