Location, price and beds are great! 2 star reduction on their removal of the hot tub for more rental space. Last time to stay here unfortunately, I used to rave about this hotel.

Excellent service! After a long flight and a long wait for our baggage, Sean at reception provided excellent service. Price was good for Vegas close to the strip and very clean. I would recommend it to anyone going to Vegas.

Just slightly off the strip, with a tiny chill casino. Unlike the big casinos, the fitness room and pool are open 24 hrs, which is a huge bonus if you aren't just in Vegas to play. Decent restaurant with decent prices on both food and wine. Like Vdara and other non-casino hotels, a GREAT haven right on the strip.

Nice solid hotel with-in walking distance of the strip. If the price is right stay here. Staff is great. Rooms are nice.

Exceptional experience, staff are genuine and friendly. The rooms and hotel are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. The removal of the casino and replacement of a restaurant was a great decision. Have had the opportunity to have are breakfast and dinner here, food is very good staff are knowledgeable and attentive.
There is a car rental agency on site, staff are very accommodating.
Only one block off the strip, great location!

We booked this hotel and arrived at the hotel at 11:30am and check in was 4pm. Ok so we waited and waited only to get a room at night by 11:45pm. Thats 12 hours from our arrival time, and they told us all they have is a king bed when we asked for double beds. It was about to be midnight when we got the room and still people are waiting for rooms after midnight, Wow. Very unhappy. Oh and took a shower with very cold water in the morning, did not have hot water. Will not come back. Sorry its rare I give a bad review. I'm very understanding.

The rooms are nice. Small fridge in the room, but no microwave.

The hotel is good for you if you want to stay near the strip but don't want to be part of a casino.

This place ruined or vacation!

We were left with no money after they put a hold on our card for almost twice the amount of our room charge for fees NOT listed online, but were told by the very condescending general manager, that we just should have known about them!! No casino either, although it is listed still on the outside of their building. The pool is no bigger than a hot tub!
We had no heat or hot water the first night.
Not even so much as a comped drink!
Even after telling the manager that their unauthorized holds left us with no money. He could have cared less! DO NOT STAY HERE! We will NEVER stay at another Westin hotel.!

The worst hotel in terms of huge noise from the air con. It s almost like sleeping next to an airport runway. Initially thought there was an issue within the air con in my room and I had to call the engineering team to check but was told that they can t do anything with it and it s same all over the building. Suspecting the decibel is exceeding the government limit. The thing is they knew this but don t bother to fix it. For similar room rate, there are other hotels in Vegas that are much better, definitely avoid this hotel.

Nice lobby redo...my room had a few upgrades from years ago...okay spot just off strip.

I've stayed here probably 6 times and this time was the worst...the room smelled like a smokers room and the beds where poorly made...felt dirty. Updated the rating to 3 because I was promised 6000 spg points...still waiting

Because of personal problem we had to cancel our reservation. One other hotel was very considerate and gave us a refund. Westin was not. Clearly they care not for the people's situation, only about getting money.

Good hotel for an overnight stay in Vegas. We were there barely 12 hours and everything was good.

Stayed at the Westin Vegas because it was pet friendly and the reviews looked good. The pet fee was very reasonable, however the hotel is really run down. The hallways smell like heavy masking aromas. The sink wouldn't drain, the toilet had poor pressure, the room service menu was very limited. The air conditioning vent had a horrible clang and road noise could be heard on the 5th floor. I won't be staying here again.

It's ok. I stayed here once in 2016 and then attended a meeting in a conference room in 2018. It's nice for a Westin and a lot cheaper than staying in a resort hotel. Hot tub was nice. Lobby is simple but the cucumber water is a nice touch.

Some very noisy construction going on for the new restaurant, but otherwise a very nice hotel. No casino on prem (yet?), so not much excitement here.

Short visit but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Right off strip, asp the amenities without the high prices.

Rooms are nice. Restaurant is a bit pricey and not a lot of choices. Elevator is frustrating with having to use your key to select a floor.

We were staying at the Westin in the month of July. I'm not going to talk about the facilities, but about your people. Always very well taken care of I must emphasize the immense generosity of Mrs. MAYELIN TORRES, head of Housekeeping of the hotel. We forgot the documents with the money in the safe and we realized only at the airport in Los Angeles. Mrs. Mayelin did all the paperwork, paying with her credit card, so we can travel the next day. In the small bag was absolutely all the money and documents. We really do not have words to thank him and it is in these moments that one realizes that the beds can be more or less fluffy, but that a good hotel does its people.

10 minute walk or less to the strip. Cheaper than most hotels in that area. Doesn't have shuttle service to/from the airport, short uber/lyft ride though(8minutes or less). No complimentary breakfast.

The smell used in hotel, everywhere but inside the rooms (thank goodness ), is overwhelming and very unpleasant.

The Westin las vegas is located off flaming Blvd right off the strip in between Bally's and Flamingo resorts. The resort is a slightly older westin and has a small casino floor with slots and a few tables for card games and craps. There were quite a bit of slots under maintenance. The have a 24hr Starbuck on site and half off cold drinks special from 12am-2am. There's also a business center where you can use the desktop computer and print out your boarding passes. They also have a restaurant, savona bistro opened 24hrs, but we did not try it. I stayed here for 3 nights on a busy June weekend in a 1 bedroom King. They were ver accomodating in getting us an early check-in. The room was big and along with a desk included an L shaped couch. The short hallway from the room to the bathroom was short and narrow and contains the closet which seemed like a poorly designed use of space. The heavenly bed was comfortable and not lumpy. The bathroom was decent size with a long counter and vanity mirror, but a small tub. However, the shower head was a rainfall one and had ample pressure. The only problem is trying to get the right water temperature can be difficult although hot water comes pretty quick. The room had the usual westin toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and 2 bar soaps. We also got our 2 bottles of water. The room was clean and hallway did not smell of smoke. The A/C is strong and cools rather quickly. The pool and gym are opened 24 hours and they even rent workout clothes and shoes. We brought our own, but that was just something different. The pool was standard for a westin. Wifi Internet access is free here and does not require a password or room login. Parking is also free and they have a covered parking lot structure along with an outside lot. Overall I found it convenient to stay at a hotel off the strip to avoid traffic and the busy pedestrians that walk around, while still being relatively close to the excitement. I would recommend this for someone wanting to be off the strip and still at a decent hotel. Obviously it's great if you are an SPG member too. I would stay here again.

Their machines do not pay at all. I put in $50 and did not win anything. Not even one hand if blackjack. That is a lot of money not to win at least one hand. I lost 50 straight hands!

Rooms are great! The casino is small but nice. Walkable to strip.

Have visited this hotel about 4 times over the last few years as really loved the fact you didn't have to leave if you got tired of the OTT excitement of the 'strip'.

You could spend your days relaxing around the small pool and your nights having a gamble in the small on site casino.

Its proximity to centre strip was also a big bonus.

However, our recent visit will be our last.

We understand that hotels can, and often do, make changes to meet their business needs.

However, failing to notify guests that you are removing the casino AND closing the pool before or during their stay is unacceptable.

We made our reservation in October 2016 and the first we new of the changes to the hotel were at check in.

This meant we had to check out half way through our stay and relocate to a different hotel that had a pool that was open. This would not have been such an issue if the hotel had notified us of the changes prior to arrival.

The removal of the casino has resulted in the downstairs lobby area being effectively turned in to a corridor leading to the on site Starbucks.

They have turned the old cashiers desk into a bar that only seats 5 and has a constant stream of existing guests or new arrivals walking past all the time.

Likewise, they do set up a 'pop-up' bar opposite check in at about 5pm each evening, but this isn't such a nice place to relax as you also have the same constant stream of people checking in or making their way to their rooms walking past all the time.

Housekeeping is non-existent and only happens if you contact reception each day to ask them to make up your room.

On top of this they charge you $25 a night amenity fee. This apparently covers such things as access to the small bar, the pool and the on site restaurant (all things you would assume were part of the fact you had paid to stay in the hotel in the first place).

If you are considering booking this hotel DON'T.

If you have booked this hotel CANCEL it.

If you have booked and can't cancel DEMAND they REFUND the amenity fee.

Staff gave room key to my room to another person who is NOT on the ROOM for a . Very unaccompanied by the front desk staff manager and I will NOT STAY again.

Lots to do, 2 outdoor pools, ping pong tables, giant chess and checker boards. They even offer free kayak rentals for an hour, a "beach", spa, and several other amenities. You definitely wouldn't be bored here. The lake view is beautiful. However, the air conditioning wasn't working in our room, there were strange stains in the bathtub which was really concerning. That made my stay there very uncomfortable.

Great staff, great room. No bar to speak of . . .remodeling?

This was an oasis in the sea of craziness that in the Strip. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is no casino in the hotel so there are more families and dogs here. Not a bad walk from the Strip or a super quick Uber ride.

William Hill book made it easy to pop in and get a bet. They need ATM/TicketVoucher machines for the slots.

This place was a definite surprise! Not that I didn't expect it to be nice but it was a lot nicer than expected with friendly staff, decent food, and a great pool area. I've stayed at a lot of places in Vegas right on the strip but this was a nice change of pace being a lot quieter and chill. Will definitely be back!

This hotel in Vegas the Westin was absolutely divine

We will never stay here again despite the fact it's not a casino and it is close to the convention center. The check in process was a nightmare and the staff was rude and unprofessional. They were overbooked and scrambling. When we checked out (our team had a block of rooms) we had one room an extra night, but when she tried to get in her key didn't work --they had removed her luggage. Fine. Mistakes happen. But then they couldn't find it. Who does that? They finally found it and got her a new room, but they were not very sorry about it. There are too many other places to stay in Vegas to ever have to deal with that management again. The rooms are nothing special.

They are off the main strip which was nice because the casino wasnt packed. The only complaint was there was a jobsite near the hotel and we were awakened by a jack hammer at 6 am Tuesday morning.

EXCEPTIONAL quality of room, very clean with excellent service from staff. When I was there the pool was being renovated, but great gym and very convenient location to quickly look around Las Vegas. Their breakfast area was just opened and the morning buffet selection was a very good choice. It was a little pricey but options were endless.

Room is smaller than other hotels in the area, but nice. Some things do need updating. It is quiet though. Guest services were very helpful and the gym is 24x7.

I tried to cancel my prepaid reservation @Westin Las Vegas for over 2 weeks, because my son had an emergency surgery at Shriners Hospital in LA. No refunds, no help, no credit towards another Westin in LA. They cant even respond to the three emails that were sent to them over the past several weeks. So sad... For such a family emergency to happen, and they cant even respond, let alone try to work with me on this situation.

This is not your normal Westin. In need of major renovation. Old and falling apart. The grand view of the Ferris wheel includes big ugly parking lot. Parking is free and okay but their elevator was out of service. A lot of patch fixes around the room. It is old.... Just very old. Westin must've bought the property and stuck their name on it. Do not get fooled.

We had a great stay here. Close to the Strip without being ON the Strip. Dog friendly (which is why we chose to stay here), with a great staff. Would recommend. Will return.

Friendly service and decent room amenities, definitely competitively priced compared to on the 'Strip' proper

I attended a week company training. Left my phone charger in the conference room on our last day. My colleague turned in my charger to front desk and they filed a form to hold onto the phone charger. 2 days later I called and lost and found department had no idea, so did the front desk clearly. Response I got was NO ONE TIRNED in any phone charger. Clearly, my colleague sent me a photo of the individual filing a lost and found form.

Great hotel that is close enough to be a short walk from the main strip but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that comes with it. No slots or casino inside was great to be able to get away from the gambling. Reasonably priced and the recent renovations make this a great place to stay.

As always the improvement attention, and the excellent service, all the staff very kind in your attention. We would stay there again.

The room was spacious, clean. There was a very large comfortable bed. The front desk staff was quick and efficient.

I read the reviews and this is not the horror stories I read. The hotel is older, but, clean and nice rooms. Is it not a 5 star Westin, NO. But, everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Checked in early, 11 AM and Karina, the front desk, was extremely polite and helpful. Offered us choices of rooms and check-in took less then 5 minutes. The room was older, but clean, bed, linen, and towels were up to Westin standards. Buba, the concierge, was extremely helpful with show tickets and directions. Happy hour every evening at 5 to 6, had snacks, with free beer or wine, (also soda and water). Everyday we had another bottle of water in our room. No SPG area, that would be nice. Close walk to the strip. We would stay there again.

I don t give good reviews often enough but wanted to offer a 5 star for this hotel. Compared to similar hotels not on the strip, this is probably the best bang for the buck. It is also the CLEANEST by far. Elaine is the cleaning lady who works the top floors and she dies an amazing job. Never had a bad room.

Was on a business trip (Tuesday - Friday) and came to the realization that this place should not be called a Westin. The hotel was not at all within Westin "standards". For example the carpet in my room was all torn up and I was standing in 5 inches of water every time I took a shower because of a slow moving drain. I understand that this is an off-the-strip hotel, but come on Starwood Hotels....do something about this hotel.

This room was a very affordable option, and close to the strip. We ordered room service for both breakfast and dinner both of which were comparable to anything on the strip but at cheaper price point. Definitely will stay here for our next trip.

Super old and dark hotel... one of the worst if not the worst westin i stayed... 20 min for checking in too.... small rooms and barelly space for clothes.. absolutely not recommend this hotel at all... even the spoon is from 1950...
