Great room! Great breakfast! Great staff! The only thing I had issue with is that I came in late at night and was informed there would be no room service and there were no vending machines so I had to spend 11 dollars on 5 snack foods from whatever was left at the check in desk.

To start off the staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick.

The room was modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. A large room with a decent TV. Though the TV didn't get all the same channels as the mighty areas. For example, the baseball game wasn't available in the room.
The bathroom was clean. Careful, they have the hot water set very hot, crazy.

The shuttle to the airport was frequent and worked well.

I would stay here again.

Only thing that could be improved is having outdoor seating somewhere! I had to walk over to the Marriott to find a pleasant patio to sit outside since there was nowhere to do that at Westin. Good location very close to the airport and Burlingame- take a 5 min free shuttle to the airport from the hotel. Also easy to take a 5 min uber to downtown Burlingame where there are tons of nice restaurants and shops and areas to walk around. If you re into running, hop across the street to the SF Bay Trail running path and explore that along the bay.

Not the nicest Westin, but still a good hotel. Front desk staff is wondering. Restaurant food is mediocre at dinner, and service is hit or miss. Breakfast staff is very friendly, and the buffet (complimentary for platinum guests) is pretty good. Rooms are standard hotel rooms, nothing extraordinary.

My room was prepaid so I can't say much about expenses, but the customer service is golden. Unfortunately due to poor scheduling of my itinerary I was not able to actually pick up my luggage if I hoped to make the flight in time. The Director of Guest Services, Michael Smith, went above and beyond and had my bag picked out and shipped back overnight within 2 days of arrival to my home airport. Luggage arrived in-tact and couldn't be happier with my visit. Thanks again!

This hotel is under construction. The noise begins early in the morning, but hey...it ends at 5pm. One has the pleasure of listening to a symphony of banging, sawing and slamming for the bargain price of $500+ a night. In fairness, this seems to be the MO in San Fran. Nonetheless, you've been warned.

Hotel is beautiful, despite some other reviews we got a king size and updated room. They run a shuttle to the Airport every 15 mins. That being said, we came in late on Saturday night from KC. Check in was fast but after taking bags to room, came back down to lobby at 12:10 and restaurant bar had closed at midnight. On a Saturday night. I don t expect a full course meal but even a drink. And of course Local surrounding selection is not only slim, but everything seems to close at midnight. Expect a 10 minute drive to a place that s open. That being said, for the price of the room you would think there would be at least some sort of mini bar or drinks in the fridge. There is Room service menu that serves after hour drinks. But that s only if you want Beer or Wine... and pay the outrageous Vegas price... + 20% Service Charge, + taxes + $3.50 Delivery Charge to your room THEN a 16.5% Gratuity for staff on top of everything. Over all not very accommodating if you come in late and need something to eat or drink. Maybe better during the day. But we re here for 1 night as we pass through and came in late and aren t getting our rental car until the morning, so not for our lifestyle.

Hotel location, room, and atmosphere are an A+. Live plants everywhere are such a nice touch. Breakfast is fantastic. We had so so so many issues with check-in and front desk mistakes that I can't give our stay more than 3 stars.

The staff is all very friendly, but the rooms are substandard. I upgraded to a junior suite because the website's pictures clearly showed that the junior suite had a walk-in shower. This turned out not to be the case. In fact, the bathroom of the junior suite did not even have a countertop (just an isolated sink with nowhere to place toiletries), and it had a gross bathtub shower with a gross shower curtain, presumably like every other room.

Love this hotel! Close to the airport with a great shuttle service. Fabulous staff, beautiful lobby and luxurious rooms. High thread count sheets, Great restaurant and bar in the lobby. I really look forward to staying here whenever we are in San Francisco!

Staff has difficult time figuring out special parking rate for attending the event. Ending up charging me $30/day. Second staff open the book and knows it was a mistake. Should be $20 instead of $30.

I recently stayed here on a business trip and wouldn't recommend it. The price was ridiculous (over $600/night). My room was outdated and dirty. There were rust streaks all over the shower walls in the bathroom. There was no free internet, no free parking, and no free breakfast. I've had better experiences at a Holiday Inn Express for $100/night. The worst part though is that my headphones were stolen out of my room while I was gone.

Nice hotel. Love the Heavenly sheets and towels. Everyone was helpful. Rooms are comfy and you can't hear the planes taking off right across the street at SFO.
The craft beers at the bar were tasty.
On the menu they have sliders - I highly recommend them.
Sorry I didn't take pictures for you. Phone was on the fritz.

After calling three times with no answer, the phone was finally answered by a very very rude woman. I asked for the front desk, she told me there was no incoming calls allowed to the front desk. SERIOUSLY???? I requested a supervisor and was left on hold for over 10 minutes.
The most disgusting customer service, I think I have ever encountered!!
STARWOOD you need to intervene!!

Wonderful treatment when we first arrived. Then it went down hill. They allowed anyone to park in the handicapped bays, and after we expressed that we needed an accessible parking spot, nothing was done. We paid for our parking the first night with our credit card at the gate. We had tried to pay with the room key but it kept giving us an error. We assumed either you charge it to your room or you pay for it there. No big deal. When we checked out, we saw that we were charged for the parking we had already paid for. When we asked them to remove it, we were treated like criminals and Rosie the desk clerk demanded to see a receipt. Nothing had notified us that we needed to keep the parking receipt, so we didn't. We asked to speak with the manager and Rosie indicated the woman next to her who she then proceeded to boss around. She told us the parking was a 3rd party operation so they had no control. On top of that, we found out on our final night that the pool would be close for the few hours that we actually would have been able to use it.

This hotel is classy, convenient, and very friendly staff. I stay here when I visit San Francisco. The value is so much better than what you get in the city. It's just a 15 minute drive up 101. Oh, they have THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Ask for a bay view. I live watching the planes landing.

Wonderful hotel with pleasant staff. Payed parking, but worth it after a cancelled flight home. Close to airport. If you call, the hotel will send a shuttle to get you. Clean inside rooms and hotel. Multiple rooms with a view of the Bay. Great prices for the service and stay.

Its a Westin, so the service is wonderful, but it is an old, fairly cruddy hotel. Restaurant is good but of course its expensive. Its location and name are what you are paying for... Normally the heavenly beds are amazing - but this was the "used to be heavenly, now just really good bed". They are building an Aloft right next to this hotel, and hopefully once that is done they will look at renovating this place. Of course "run down" can describe a shockingly large number of hotels in the Valley / SFO, so maybe I'm being too harsh in comparison to the alternatives.

Very nice rooms and the food in the restaurant is great. The staff is very nice and attentive. The main complaint is the way they nickel and dime you nothing is complimentary like wifi, parking, etc. Also while the food is good the breakfast buffet is ridiculously expensive.

We had a great stay. The hotel allowed us to check in early which was awesome. The location was less the 15 minutes to pier 39. The pool was really big also had a hot tub. The staff was really nice!

WiFi is expensive! Room was clean and comfortable, but I needed to jump online for 5 minutes and didn't feel like paying what would amount to $2/minute. I bet they wouldn't put coin operated gym equipment in. Plenty of fish in the sea that aren't doing this.

It is a beautiful hotel that is located conveniently next to San Francisco International Airport. The rooms are nice with a mini-fridge and complimentary in-room bottled water and coffee. However, my room was missing a non-slip shower mat nor grip-strips. I slipped and banged my ribs hard against the tub edge. All rooms should have this non-slip surface. That was my one drawback.

Nice hotel. Comfortable rooms. Two complaints: one not enough light to see inside my suitcase and to I hate the way so-called high-end hotels nickel-and-dime you on the freaking internet. Just give us free wifi in our rooms already

Parked there for a trip. The shuttle driver (tall thin Asian guy) refused to let us on the shuttle, even though we expressed that we were running late for our flight. He had standing room. He let others on that were standing, but left just the two of us. We would have made our flight, but we had to wait for the other shuttle, and missed our flight. We were very dissatisfied. And the worst part is that I am one of the very few people that actually tip every time I get a shuttle. So, if you're ever running late, don't park here. They don't care if you miss your plane.

I booked this hotel for convenience in support of a last minute trip. Although the room/facilities were comfortable, I was appalled to learn upon check in that I would be charged $30/night for overnight self-parking on property.

Flew in to SFO for the night. The Westin provides a complimentary shuttle from the terminal. Rooms were nice and quiet for being right across the bay from the airport. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and one in the hotel lobby. Went to the bar for drinks and the prices and service were good.
