All staff was friendly and helpful. From the front desk, bar, and wait staff for the wedding we attended. Easily accessible from the freeway and airport.
Amazing rooms, atmosphere. Just need to fix the elevators. Only 1 was operating.
Great location very well appointed rooms in overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend it to anyone
This has become our get away place for staycations during lockdown. We enjoy the convenience of the location and the confidence of knowing strict COVID safeguards are in place.
The room was clean and service was friendly. But the parking was costly for an Airport Hotel.
Rooms are starting to show it's age. But staff was great!
As all Westins, this location is pretty nice and has a very convenient location to the airport. The shuttle runs constantly and it's literally just around the corner from SFO. The view of the Bay was really neat, especially seeing the planes come in and take off, trade off is it's a little loud but only outside. The bed had a slept-in indent on top of the covers when we got in, which was bizarre but everything was clean otherwise. The beds were comfortable and eeveryone slept fine. The guest ices desk was amazing and very attentive. The lobby was a pretty nice, comfortable place to be too. Overall really nice and solid hotel that is super convenient to SFO and the Bay Area. Something I won't blame the hotel for was a group of people didn't let me in an elevator when trying to go up, plenty of space with only 3 people in there, but just a stupid little event that had me thinking for a bit.
This hotel caters to the teen party crowd. 3 hours and 4 calls to the front desk with no results. I spent the night in the hotel lobby. It was a lot quieter than my room. The hotel arbitrary changes the room type you reserve, with out consulting the person paying. Not a good hotel for business travelers
Used the park and shuttle service to get to SFO. Went smoothly although the lot was quite full.
Older hotel but rooms were fine and distance to airport made it ideal.
The room was okay. But to charge $10 for Wifi for the already overpriced room is horrible. And the staff didn't seem like they cared.
Very nice lounge area and the rooms area very nice too but expensive
The Westin, San Francisco Airport is exactly what you would expect for an airport hotel as a business individual on the go.
It is at the absolute upper end of middle class hotels and presents well with a smile, is very clean and obviously automatically caters for the business woman or man, no questions asked.
Although upgrades have been made, the room we stayed in was starting to date, in particular the bathroom, and having booked ahead as a couple, with specific needs, it was disappointing turning up to a room with dead flowers, only one robe and adequate towels for only one person. At the rate paid, I would expect those details to be covered, even at an Airport Hotel. Dead flowers are so depressing in a hotel room. It is nice to have an in-room refrigerator, however the lack of true tea cups and saucers to have a cup and tea and cookie on, is cheap in my opinion.
The shower head was extremely blissful (one of the new Kohler water saving ones that massages) and the bed was as Westin guarantees - very comfortable. The room was quiet and we got the rest we needed. I can certainly recommend this place for as quiet a night as possible, this close to the international airport.
At a push we would certainly stay there again, if we needed to, and as stated, it was a comfortable night's rest. Perhaps if some of the smaller details had not been forgotten, it would not have been such a dreary experience.
Mobility parking cannot be seen on arrival, but is available. You must pay for day parking in the lot, and drive around the back. There, the lobby is very accessible, or you can valet.
Stayed at the Westin SFO Airport the night before my flight home. Overall it is Meh. Decent hotel, but not up to normal Westin standards. Bathtub with shower curtains rather than a proper shower stall. No executive lounge at this location either. It does offer great views of the runways and is fairly clean. Location is also very convenient.
Rooms were spacious, service was impeccable. Get a lobster roll around the corner!
Save your money, this is a Westin in name only. The rooms allow a lot of noise from the hallways (mine had a huge gap between floor and door). The layout of our suite was awful, with the couch facing away from the TV in the windowless living room. There are no convenient switches for the lights in the bedroom. There is no bathtub. Parking is $30/night. The bathroom had a granite countertop, so if you really want that, stay here. Otherwise, stay somewhere else until this hotel receives a much needed update.
Worst place ever prepaid for a rental got there and had no cars available and i couldn't get my money back and then forced me to give them a star before it post
I was only there for a few hours at a meeting in a room. But everything was really clean and mostly closed due to coronavirus measures.
Great airport views
Nice place to stay near SFO. Have a shuttle to airport every 15 mins.
Okay. Use when others not available or too expensive. Comfy beds. Is clean.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, good Starbucks, nice pool area and one of the best gyms I've seen in a hotel. Thank you
Great hotel, very well looked after. Housekeeping was very detailed. SPG welcome and special floor is always nice. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Event catering food was fantastic!
My friend stayed there and left two gifts at the front desk for us( she took pics). The next day we went to pick up and there was only one. Dishonest staffs, be careful
Came here just to checkout the ballrooms for a possible event. They were pretty nice and large - fairly conventional for a business meeting. Hotel facilities seemed pretty comparable to the other airport hotels.
Friendly and competent staff. Lovely room. Delicious room service. Airport shuttle. I would love to stay there again if I ever get stuck in SF again.
Very helpful waiter. Food was a great value. Large portions for breakfast.
My room was in the elevator at night. If this is how you treat a corp (Oracle) customer by placing them next to an elevator then I would recommend a business traveler to find another hotel.
Close to the flight, good beds and free bus to the airport.
Fair hotel, Can do better on cleaning, not easy to get laundry done
Old building, but Great service, and extremely convenient
I will never stay in a Westin or Starwoods Hotel ever again. Their customer service has repeatedly been poor and unprofessional.
Never staying here again. Just too many things...
Dont even want to get into it. Unfortunately I have to give a couple items just to be able to post.
Employees either rude or just simply too busy for you, or straight up liars.
Their managers must be ass holes.... and the employees must follow their lead. Multiple employees loudly complaining about their manager(s?) Yelling and cursing at them?
That is all I am spending my time on for now. Won't make this mistake again.
Nothing close by really, but the restaurant on-site is good, albeit expensive. Close to airport but no real noise from the planes unlike other area hotels.
I was there to meet a few friends. Their staffs are very nice to let me temporarily park at the hotel.
Good hotel, conveniently located to the airport. Nice rooms and a good restaurant in the lobby.
Just popped in to use an outlet, but was very nice in the lobby
The lobby and restaurant are nice. Didn't experience much else but it seemed nice
Cozy place. Good service. Great restaurant there. I would go again anytime I need to stay in the area.
Nice hotel! Nothing bad but nothing fancy! You get what you expect when staying at a Westin hotel.
- Spacious and clean room
- Free WiFi at the Lobby for 4hrs
- Dinner was on point
- Good customer service
I don't know what to say... Other than it was amazing! ( )
Good hotel to rest, but outdated rooms. Nothing special anymore with the name. Hoping the Marriott merger will bring back some of the glory. Free trolley to the nearby downtown, but its tough not having much in walking distance.
I was at the Westin for the ASCCC conference! The food and the service they provided for us was excellent. I loved the breakfasts and lunches. Staff was very polite and helpful too!
Great staff. Loved the Starbucks in the room. Shower were a bit low for me.
Got placed in the wrong room type. When I tried to call the front desk from that room, they told me the front desk had no phones and that I would have to wait there for someone to call me back. So I walked down to the front desk. Guess what: I saw phones there.
Restaurant brought me the wrong order. Service was slow. Waiter kept forgetting what I asked for.
Whatever overpowering scent is piped into the lobby is very unpleasant.
Decent facility, comfortable beddings, nice shower (but drain is clogged), slow room service, bad in room coffee.
I fly out every week typically on Thursdays for a red eye but had to fly out Friday due to flight cancellation. I'm usually at ALOFT but had to go to Westin to take my shuttle. I arrived at 4am this morning, was told that I had to wait outside like an animal in the dark. ALOFT has never done that to me. I work for one of the largest healthcare systems in the Bay area. Totally unnecessary.
Very nice accommodations. Nice sized rooms and very friendly staff.
Very nice staff. Construction was going on my floor. So some noises
Clean room, coffee maker, fine for an overnight stay and close to the airport
The staff is great and the hotel is always clean. My only mild complaint is that the green choice program doesn't always work, meaning my room is still cleaned even though I don't want it. Not the worst problem. Overall great hotel.
Stopped by for dinner while waiting for airline flights. Excellent food and good service. Quick hop on the shuttle to the airport when done.
Great shower pressure, not located near anything of interest unless you're craving In & Out Burger
Great service and amenities. Room was comfortable and customer service was top notch.
This hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are nice and so are the amenities. It is by the SF airport so you can hear planes, but it's not that bad. Pretty view of the bay and the airport. The lobby is big, clean and welcoming. Make sure you pay for parking with the hotel or show them your parking ticket before leaving. We said we were going to pay at the parking gate as we left the parking lot, which we did, but we we're also charged by the hotel. The person told us it was fine and we weren't going to be charged on our hotel bill, but we were. It was solved, but an unecessary issue to deal with.
Rooms are large and comfortable, as was the King size bed. Staff were professional and efficient. No complaints.
We only stayed one night but I wish it was longer. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Being able to take the shuttle to the airport in the morning was super easy and quick.
Super comfortable bed! Unreal view. Very close to the airport and a free shuttle made this super easy to get to our flight. Little walk from the transit but they will even take you with the shuttle to the airport transit station so all good.
We.stayed one night on a business trip. Great location to the SFA airport.as.well.as. free.shuttle to and from.hotel. check-in was quick.and smooth. The room.was quiet and comfortable. Thank you for wonderful stay.
Standard nice Westin, close to the airport. Some rooms have nice views. Generally what you expect from a Westin. The service is great, very personalized and friendly.
This airport is the rudest, least helpful establishment ever!!!!!!
Great location if you want to be close to the airport, rooms were clean and rate was reasonable.
Beware of Weston's unforgiving cancellation policy. We were snowed in at Lake Tahoe. We called 16 hours before check in once we realized the roads were closed. The hotel absolutely refused to work with us and charged us ~$200 for not showing up. I was amazed at how inflexible they were. I'll never stay with them again.
Be prepared to pay for $30 a night for parking and $14.99 to use there wifi
Very clean and comfortable. across form trail & park.
