Every time I come to The Westin the service is exceptional! Special shout to Chloe I called in regards to my parents anniversary and she set up and amenity for them. That was very sweet of her. Also Shantelle s service was very nice and welcoming at check in. Thanks a lot! We ll definitely be back!

Hotel is in prime location driveable distance to airport. Rooms are very clean and good. They also have gym, swimming pool, bar & restaurant at this location. Swimming pool is open from sunrise to sunset.

Staff is very friendly too. We enjoyed our stay.

I assume this isn't a problem that is experienced often in Florida, but it's been uncharacteristically cold while I was staying here and my room was freezing all night. The thermostat was set the 74(as high as it goes) and the air was never warm + the room temp never went above the 60s. The hallways and the hotel in general is even colder!Very uncomfortable.... I don't even mind that the rooms are outdated. Would never stay here again when it's below 70 in fort Lauderdale.
On the other hand, the staff is so nice so I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 - the room and hotel not being at a comfortable temperature just ruined it for me.

We just had dinner at this hotel... The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly!
The hotel seems a nice place to overnight, very spacious, modern and clean ! Enough place to park your car and close to the highway...

Hotel over charged my card. I called the hotel to correct the problem the staff was very rude and unhelpful. I travel a lot and often stay at many hotels but I will never visit his hotel again. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. My hotel reservation was prepaid they told me that they needed to hold a $50 deposit and charged me almost $200 dollars. Please do yourself a favor and stay away.

Good staff, nice place , rooms was okay, food i had in the restaurant were old. I ordered spicy pork taco, all ingredients from coleslaw meat were old, tortilla was hard as rock not even spicy at all. . Not worth it. Restaurant service was slow.

It is a very nice hotel. The staff was great. And I was enjoying my stay there.

Descent rooms, free parking and a 15 minute drive from the airport. I have no complaints. The front desk staff was amazing and Maria at the bar can make a mean margarita!

Recently renovated. Cool wallpaper. For a Westin though, I thought it would be nicer. Incorrect assumption on my part. It's close to my work for the week. Pool is currently closed. Breakfast buffet is good although limited and pricey.

Always a great stay, not sure why but to me the room are very comfortable. Staff is great, great location.

Had an awesome stay here! My room was spotless and had relaxing music on when I entered it. The bed was extremely comfortable and I felt the room was quiet. Thanks guys!

Not at all four-star hotel experience. Spent extra for a suite with a balcony, but the room was very rough. Balcony existed with seating and a table, but the door was broken and it would not unlatch (basically, unusable). Curtains had a hole ripped in them, and the windows were tinted and scratched. Light switches did not control the lamps and I had to feel around for a switches along the electrical lead, and things weren't even plugged in. USB charging stations were broken. Neither TV had a guide and would lose signal every few minutes. Couch was frayed and very worn and stained. Bathroom mirror backing was peeling around the edges, and the counter had cup rings like it had never been cleaned, along with being very chipped along the mouth of the sink. Clock radio was never reset and went off in the middle of the night. Even the ceiling had black scuffs on it. Despite the room description, no robe was provided. There was a secondary entrance to the building closer to parking but it was locked every time I tried to use it, meaning I had to walk the long way each time.

Very disappointing stay that didn't make me feel valued at all. Would not consider again.

The worst had a 2 day stay through my gf's company we couldnt shut the alarm off and they called us 3 times in 1 night for no reasonat 1 a.m, after we told them everything was fine we left will never go back.

Dont do it Go 5 star instead. Regarless this westin has a $30 resort fee on top of what you already agreed upon. No on sight parking. Forced to Pay $39 for Valet. Hoping for a early check in? That's not happening here. 2 star place and one of those stars because it's next to a beach.

Overpriced. Charges for breakfast. Reservation wasn't ready when we arrived. Staff was extremely friendly, though. Came quickly when we had a plumbing issue.

Literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I had pre-paid for my hotel three weeks before I arrived in Fort Lauderdale. First their card reader was broken and I had to use the ATM for additional deposits, so instead of my card being charged $50 pending I had to pull out $400 cash with two ATM fees because the ATMs max is $200. Then 15 minutes later the girl says oh I'm sorry it was my reader I can do it on the other till. So I am refunded my money the cash part the $400. They run my card again but instead of charging me $50 for the pending hotel deposit I was charged $1450. Then that night when I found out about the mistake they made I went to the front counter to confront them and to have them refund my money. Instead of refunding my money first they decided to charge my card again a additional $50 for the Hotel deposit. So at this point everything including pulling out money, them charging me for my original stay and all their mistakes I have $3500 out of my checking account at this point. And it took two days to get all of their mistakes figured out and put my money back into my account.
Second my wife and I could not get a hold of room service multiple times trying to call and order food with no one answering. One night My Wife called three times finally she was so frustrated she went down to the front desk ordered and food. Then we waited 2 1/2 hours and nothing had still arrived. Being hungry and having two hungry kids was not an ideal night. There was a staff member there I believe his name was Chris who was the head of room service and the kitchen. I have to complement him on his efforts to handle the situation and comping us food and drinks for the night, and taking care of us the way he did.
Third on the day before We left I called the front desk to confirm a shuttle to bring us to the train station roughly about 2 miles away. We specifically called multiple times to confirm that we would have a shuttle to bring us so we can make it to the train on time so that we did not miss our flight in Miami. So on our schedule time we go down to the front desk area and ask for the shuttle. The shuttle driver says you will not fit can't bring you I already have two people in my van, and he takes off. This is why we specifically called them multiple times to let them know there was four of us with luggage that needed to be brought to the train station and still it was handled completely unprofessional and inproper. Thank God for one of the workers there who said I'm so sorry I'll give you guys a ride in my car to the train station. We literally made it with one minute to spare.
There were multiple multiple things other than these three that I mentioned but I just thought I would point these out first.
I would never return or recommend anybody to this hotel.

Close to restaurants and business complexes (handy for visiting business clients in the area). Facilities are clean and bed is comfortable. Place is showing a little age/wear though. Other than that, good place for a couple nights in the area.

This is one of the friendliest hotels we stayed in. Everyone there is trying to help. The food was very good, the drinks too. The pool area is a dream. For young and old it is an experience. Even children are welcome there. You spend your time there like on an island. From there you can get anywhere in just over 15 minutes to get something.

A hotel a little neglected, the staff friendly, the neighbors who touched me were very noisy you could hear all your conversations

Great customer service, amazing staff, good amenities, bar on site. My only complaint was that due to rain the day before, the jacuzzi was full of leaves and wasnt as hot at it should have been.

This was quite nice. Theres live leguanas and reptiles by the pool. Really cool

Large room... A bit dated. We arrived early and was able to get an early check in... BUT NO ONE TOLD US THERE WAS construction being done on our floor... HAMMERING AND Drilling starting at 7am... Shortly after checking in we were locked out of our room because the battery went dead on the door.. THE maintenance guy wasn't able to open it with the computer so he broke into the door with a hanger..YES A HANGER !! AFTER waiting in the hall for about an hour we were finally let into our room.. The pool was nice but not very well attended.. Towel were draped on chairs from earlier guest...I believe Overall the hotel was under staffed. The fitness room center was nice but there was no disinfectant wipes/spray to wipe off the machines... The lobby has a maps of a running trail... that needs to be updated !!!

Very clean. Staff was excellent. Was here in a work trip for three nights. They even have free smoothies and coffee in the lobby in the morning.

I've been visiting the Westin since 1998 and have never been disappointed. A very elegant well-maintained hotel with modern decor and a beautiful lobby to relax in. Great for functions or business meetings of any kind. Close proximity to downtown Fort Lauderdale, the Intracoastal, the beach or anywhere you need to go in South Florida. The Westin is top-notch.

Advertise free WI-FI & does not work. Bugs coming out shower drain. Sofa is old.

Stayed for two nights. The front desk staff were pleasant and the beds were comfortable in my suite and had a nice view but unfortunately the hotel lacked basic comforts and convieniences that I felt was not acceptable for a 4 star hotel and that was disappointing and it made me anxiously ready to check out after the first night. I stayed in the studio suite which did not have a microwave and I was informed that the hotel does not provide them period not even in the lobby which I thought was pretty ridiculous especially being in a suite which is suppose to have everything my family and I have never stayed at any hotel that doesn't have a microwave in the room which is generally a big comfort for us because we use it consistently to heat up food items at different hours of the day and night so that was a big bomber on top of that there was no vending machine in the hotel so the only way you could get water is if you kept going back and forth to the front desk and being on the 7th floor that was not convenient and we were told if the water was brought up there would be a charge. Being that its summer and the weather is literally 90 degrees I just found it really unacceptable for a 4 star hotel on top of that the inaccuracies with housekeeping that I experienced we had to call repeatedly for assistance and finally our suite was cleaned after 12pm. The worst part of my stay was being told that there were dining options within the area that were walking distance which there wasn't and by car there were options close by which was incorrect as well. The list provided by the front desk for dining options were all only accessible much further away by car but the address information for these places were incorrect and I found out the hard way after driving 18 min to the restaurant of choice to then find out the address on the paper given by the front desk was not correct and the place was actually 30 minutes away so my family and I drove almost 20 min the wrong way for nothing and had to end up cancelling our large order that we already placed. Definitely to much to go through for a first stay and only two nights and it was certainly disappointing enough to not ever stay at this hotel again.

The gentleman at the desk was nice and the bartender was super BUT the room was stinky with an overwhelming mildew odor. No fan in the bathroom which was a first for me in any hotel much less a "Westin". The "lagoon" was a retention pond and numerous iguanas used the pool as their bathroom. Luckily once we were given our reserved room (which seemed to take longer then normal) we enjoyed champagne and chocolate we had brought and that put us in a better mood. Our swim in hindsight was a mistake as we both woke up with sore throats and have been sick since that swim and hot tub! Restaurant was decent. I waited over 15 minutes for an elevator on the 10th floor to fetch me! I was so frustrated! Manager said they blocked two elevators to bring in a large group. Really? I know they were recovering from the hurricane but we felt they didn't go out of their way to make us like them more. We thought we were booking the beach resort so be careful when you go for the "best price guarantee" as the rooms are non-refundable. If we had it to do over, we would have taken the loss and gone elsewhere.

last time here 5 years ago was nice. Now dated, dirty, window cracked, vent in bath inop, etc. Way overpriced with better options near by.

My first stay at the Westin. I must say how pleasantly surprised my stay was. The quality of service was very satisfying. I had an opportunity to engage with some employees and one stood out, that was Pericil in housekeeping! She treated us like royalty!!! Her humility and heart to serve others was extremely touching. I highly recommend this hotel. They have a whirlpool that melted my stress away!! This was an amazing getaway!! I will definitely recommend!!!

Pretty nice standard Westin. The fitness room is small and the pool isn't as huge as it looks online. However, the rooms are clean and modern, there is plenty of parking, and nice outdoor seating area for a drink or bite to eat.

Best hotel option in the city. Highly recommend with or without pets, They are also biker friendly. Worth every dollar.

Pool is being remodeled. No mention while booking. Still have photos up of the pool. It is apparently corporate policy not to tell guests when this is happening from what I learned. The staff has been very nice at this location.

The carpet was super old and dirty. Furniture worn and dated. The bathroom was the nicest I have seen for a kid because you had to stand on the side of the toilet to close the door . Construction going on next door and above the room and on the same floor we stayed on. At 9 am they were at it! Couldn t change rooms because they were doing social distancing?! No microwave
PROPS: Bed was nice, air worked, hot water was HOT, nice view on the north side of the building... which we only saw at the elevator.

This hotel is amazing! The property and rooms are great. It has an amazing pool area. The staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel anyone that needs a place to stay when in the Fort Lauderdale area.

The room was huge! We had a small social gathering and it was just the right size. The people at the front desk we're more than accommodating.

Hotel is nice anf clean, but not an area to walk around.

Staff was excellent, rooms were nice, big and clean. Lots of food within walking distance and they will drop you off anywhere within 3 miles for free.

Everything was decent. The staff was great with special requests. The pool was under renovation or repair but they shuttle you to another property if you wish to use the pool. The rooms are what you'd expect. Would stay here again for sure, good prices and good service. The breakfast buffet is pretty good too.

Location is a little hidden but good for professional events. Activities are a small drive away though but otherwise nice peaceful environment.

Good location, clean lobby and pool, nice people BUT the room was aweful! We should have asked for another room but since we were just there at night to sleep we thought we could manage. The smell of mold was overwhelming. I think we got sick from the room and it was only 3 nights. Opening my suitcase when I got home all I could smell was the way the room smelled.. MOLD!!!

Nice hotel. Large room and friendly staff.
The location is good, not on the beach, but close to the highway.
Breakfast had everything you expect from a good breakfast.
