The rooms are clean and the staff is really courteous and helpful. This is a great location if you want to be near the premium shopping but it's also pretty central to most of Boston's highlights via the T.

Disappointing for such a high price.

Disappointing for such a high price.
Pros: Room was clean, bathroom large and a nice shower.
Location is central to Boston.
Service was excelllent.

Cons: Terrible shops in the hotel;
Over charging for the internet (I am amazed hotels think they can charge 15-
20 dollars a day for internet in this day and age).
They lock down the TV making it very difficult for you to use your own devices
to watch your own media. Had to buy a VGA/Audio cable from radio shack to
get around the hotel mode TV.

MASSIVE CON: Breakfast. What a joke. The room they have isn't big enough to accommodate the hotel guests they have. I was there 5 days and had to queue up 4 of them, once for half an hour. The breakfast costs 25 dollars. Massively overpriced and just another hotel praying on guests charging it to their companies.

I wouldn't come back due to the internet and breakfast being so mediocre.

Bar 10 had excellent food and the rooms had beautiful views but when I tried to access the internet witch I thought was free it greeted me with a $15 per day option witch was the only option. I called to the lobby and they said they had free wifi in the lobby but when I went down to the lobby I was only allowed 1 hour of free wifi. The lobby also always smelt like Chinese soup due to the restaurant just outside the hotel

Loved our stay at The Westin especially after the renovation of the rooms However, there is a certain unpleasent scent in the lobby area coming from a japanese hotpot place thats placed right in front of the entrance of the hotel lobby.. we avoided going to the lobby during our entire 3 weeks of staying at the hotel.

Stayed for a multiple-day corporate event. The event was managed incredibly well by the hotel staff who are incredibly attentive and offered great food selections throughout the day. The meeting spaces were always clean well-prepared with a proper technology. My room was large bright and had a great view of Boston. My only downside was I prefer a very chilly room and was not able to truly regulate temperature. Overall a great location and a great place to stay in Boston.

Absolutely gorgeous facility! Lucky enough to have a room on 30th floor overlooking the Charles and much of the city. Crazy friendly staff from the Valets to the front desk. Extremely quiet Hotel, no loud door slams or echoing footsteps in the halls. First class all the way!

Clean modern, comfortable, ideally located. The two best features are: The windows can be opened to allow fresh air into the room, and the hotel is less than 1/2 mile through a beautiful neighborhood to the Charles River esplanade, an ideal location for maintaining a running routine.

Whilst the hotel staff strike might have exacerbated the marred experience, the overall quality of the hotel does not seem to match the price paid (>Aud$600 per night). Due to the strike, I was left to fetch my own toilet paper and toiletries and maintain the cleanliness of the toilet on my own. Whilst existing staff was left to compensate the shortage of work force, it was unfortunately insufficient to bolster the overall negative experience. Moreover, no compensation was offered, nor was there any for warning of the strike. Have I had known, I would have made arrangements to stay somewhere else.

I stayed at this hotel on business travel in April of 2014. The room was quaint, but offered very nice 180 degree view of the city. The hotel is conveniently located near great restaurants, upscale shops, a grocery store and the subway. It's also within walking distance of Newbury street. Overnight parking is very expensive though. Consider other options there.

This is really an uptodate hotel with qualtity service. Though our stay was only for two days but we really enjoyed this place. Room was perfect with mix of classic and modern decor and beds were really comfy. It was clean and calm inside the room and hotel in general. Easily accessible via public transport and not very far from city center. Its a bit pricey but compared with the Boston, I still find it towards the lower-end compared to the market. It all depends on how much is your budget as well. Staff is very professional and polite so feel free to ask anything.

Checked in late. Woke in middle of night and stepped on wet carpet and discovered it was vomit barely cleaned from I assume the last guest.

Presented this to a front desk person and simply said don t put another guest in the room until it s cleaned properly.

I then gave them a choice to do the right thing by me as the customer. Partial refund or something. About a month and nothing.

Even a gesture would have been nice.

Don t use this overpriced hotel in boston

Typical Westin amenities and a great banquets and audio visual staff at this particular location. In a great area of Boston and close to a lot of restaurants, shopping and historic sights. Accessible by subway with valet parking as well.

Very nice amenities and in an excellent location. Deducting one star because my bed was not very comfortable and I think that the rate is a tad expensive for what you get. I would definitely stay here again though.

Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Location at Copley was great for easily getting out to see the city. Was here for a conference and the meeting spaces were great for it. Food provided by the hotel was excellent as well.

The best as usual. A little disappointment about the view that my husband forgot to ask for. The women that took care of our room went out of her way to help me make my Christmas better. Once again, top rated in our book. That why we only stay at The Westin Copley.

Hopeless service & rip off. Room had no hot water. As I had booked it for 3 days checked with front desk in morning & complained about the room. They told me to pack my luggage & assured will be moved to another room . I miss imp meetings as I go to room & pack my things. They took my keys. I come at 10.30 pm to hotel. They make me wait 15 minutes only to say that I need to go to same room as they have no plan to shift me. Call Westin customer care got complaint number after 2 calls & 30 mins wait. Horrible experience.

Lipstick on a pig. First, there were a lot of problems with the elevators. Maybe that was just a function of an event, but to resort to having employees man the elevators shows how old and inefficient the hotel is.

The rooms have been updated to some degree, but it's clear when you see the cracks in the paint of old doors or wallpaper in the bathroom from the 1970s that it is just not really well executed.

What really enerved me was the "club" or lounge. I was in an executive room with access to the club and found the offerings to be quite underwhelming. While the actual lounge was nice and clean, the fact that you would have to pay for a beer or glass of wine when they essentially charge $65 per day for the privilege is utterly ridiculous. It's also a limited set of food that is offered.

Overall, the rooms are fine, but the value was terrible and not what I expect from a Westin. I will try to avoid this hotel going forward.
