I was in the area so i decided stop there im a truck driver and i recently changed States so i only have my temporary C.D.L and im not going to be driving for 48 hours i figured why not i never been to a casino i tried to get some food there it's before 11 pm and the restaurant was closed i was going to get a beer so i give the bartender my c.d.l and he said he had to ask security if the can accept it then they both look at it security takes it of to the side wrote my name on a sheet of paper then asked me where is my real id is and i said that is my id the security guard is harassing me about so i asked for my cdl back and i left i would not recommend going there to any body especially if you are a truck driver unless you want to get harassed

Went to the stake house last week food and services were out standing

Clean very nice staff the games were great the dealers were really nice and the drinks were cheap.

If your able to get past the slot machines and deal with the smell of smoke there is a very nice restaurant to dine in this casino the service is fantastic I will definitely return to the Western Village establishment at a future date

Really enjoyed the Steakhouse! Had the mixed grill and it was enough for 2 meals. Plus, win some money after!

Like the room very much, ,remodel is nicely done. Was told would take a cash deposit when made reservations earlier in the day. Specifically asked and re asked the young lady who took my information over phone because of auto payment s coming out of account , would be upside down. Once again charges were held up on being released leaving my account upside down

Old and run down, loud, good restaurants in the casino though.

Excellent place. Patronized mostly by locals. Parking can be a nightmare. Must try Pancho & Willie's Mexican, it's the bomb.

the food was okay, the price is kinda pricey compared to other diner. people here seems pleasant but the cashier named veronica, she has attitude.

Great food and friendly staff through out the casino

Well it always happens you go to have a beer but sometimes bartenders look unhappy not all of them. But some do and instead of you having nice time. it turns into a not a nice time just make sure that your bartenders like to make tips because money comes from everywhere.

We went to the steakhouse and its the best one in town . Service is always top notch and food is to die for !!

We stay here as we pass thru the Reno area mainly because the price is reasonable, decent rooms and the nearby Sparks Marina which is right outside the door. To walk around the marina is pleasant and a big plus over most hotel stays. The casino is, of course stinky with smoke but the hotel is in a separate building. We've stayed here three or four times.

I would rank this disgusting place lower than a 1, but it's not an option...the worst atmosphere, smell, detail to cleanliness that I've ever experienced, needless to say, we checked out immediately. Don't do it!!!

They have tried hard to pretty up this old hotel. The rooms are neat and spacious. However, as we travel for a living, I have been in nearly 100 hotel rooms, and this is one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. I do have joint pain from arthritis, so my hips often hurt after sleeping on hard beds, and this time I was unable to sleep past 5 am both nights due to the pain. Part two of my review is the price. Average weeknight is $45 so they are often booked. They are away from the hustle and bustle of Reno strip, right off the freeway, and parking is easy and plentiful. All this makes it appealing... to all sorts of people. Our 2nd night was spent being woken by security then fire Department as they tried to get a drunk off the floor and to the hospital. The outer doors are locked so you can't get to the rooms without a key, and this guy was my neighbor... So, beautiful rooms, a king size bed, nice size .. but just a facade of what is really going on. Oh, and hubby (6 ft) has to squat or duck to use the shower as the shower head is neck high to him. You get what you pay for. Never again.....

The village is nice place to stay in Sparks Nevada short drive from downtown Reno going east it is next to a large lake with Sandie beach area for swimming small boats and watercraft welcome check it out your next visit hotel and casino staff are very friendly and professional

Better quality mexican food, nicer staff would be nice.

Nice little old style casino. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent.

If it is good to play and sometimes it is admired that if they win I did not emanate but I have seen how they win ...

Have been going here for a very long time . Love it.

Convenient location, parking was terrible. Shower head was very low, and wallpaper was peeling in bathroom. Hallway was clean, pet friendly is a plus.

Absolute hand's down BEST DEAL FOR ROOMS IN AND AROUND YHE RENO ANF SPARKS ATEAS! it's literally a miniature Peppermill minus the big price tag. My spouse and I were BEYOND satisfied with this location and will most definitely be choosing this hotel and casino every time we get away to Reno from hereon out.

This joint reminds me of a smaller Peppermill. Love the interior design of this casino. My only gripe is that the hotel is detached from the casino. Lots of machines and decent amount of tables.

Beautiful rooms. The view of the mountains and marina was breath taking.

The restaurants here are consistantly very good at reasonably fabulous prices like a slice pizza for only 3 dollars and 1 dollar beer like bud or coors

Service Could have been more attentive especially on a Friday before swing shift right before hot august nights

My go to for going out to eat with family and friends. Love their prices, ambiance, customer service, but most of all the the food is absolutely fabulous!

Western Village has really good food compared & has a positive gambling atmosphere

This is the biggest little casino in the biggest little city.

Very comfortable bed. Large room with plenty of chairs. Refrigerator that worked. Keurig in the room! Short walk across the parking lot to Casino and dining.

My favorite go to location & amazing cheap quality food cafe and drinks. Slots & tables are $5 or under

Fantastic customer service from everyone we interacted with. Great room (we were in pet-friendly room 146 facing the marina), nicely maintained, very clean and appears to have been recently remodeled. Nice view of Sparks marina. Mini fridge, Keurig coffee machine, nice tv with decent selection of channels, comfy soft beds. The only issues were with curtain, and with a leak in the bathroom coming from the room upstairs. Both were quickly addressed. The room even had water/food bowls set out for the puppies, which was a nice touch. No handtowel rack next to sink and no soap dish, but those are minor detractors. Nice pet area outside. Nice location near the marina, restaurants, the mall/theater, etc. Would definitely recommend to people with dogs as long as you get one of their pet friendly rooms.

Really Nice Suite, Super super clean...Great food from the restaurants inside, And it was beliwve it or not very reasonable. And the Portion size was just huge. And veey good..Bars in the Casinos were very cool, Made great drinks. The Village was on a lake as well. Really enjoyed it for a few days...Far as i could tell, Noone screaming or standing at the cashout cages...Huge Casino, Modern, Very clean...Smoke and Drink. But after about mmmm bout 50 bucks And a lil observation. I knew they were turned down...lol...Wasnt gonna happen....But, I knew that.. Still enjoyed all.of.it....Very nice people all way around...

It's a little depressing just like every other casino. This one seems to have more locals I think. The location is nice with the marina being right near. They recently renovated within the last couple of years.
