The employees were very nice. They were very disorganized.
I was there for one night after my full thyroidectomy. The morning of the surgery, we went in to register. They had volunteers that gave us square cards with a letter on them. These were used so they could call you when it was your turn to be registered. Took about 45 minutes to be called. I have never seen a hospital do this before. I found it ridiculous.
I was taken into pre-op a few hours early. They were better organized back there. They explained what they were doing & knocked me out an hour before my surgery.
Later, in my room after waking up, I didn't get a dinner, not even a liquid diet meal. I ended up asking for pudding. I, also, asked for tylenol for pain. It took about an hour to receive the tylenol & a couple hours to get the pudding. I got two more puddings in the middle of the night. I was awake from sleeping too much. Ask for more ice water, took over an hour for that too.
When my IV bag was empty, the alarm didn't go off & again took a long time for someone to check it. Took them a long time to bring in a recliner for my mom.
In all honesty, I hope I never have to go back to this hospital.
