Great place for those trying to get in better shape and healthier. Also great place for people to go that want to build and tone muscles after having an accident of some sort. The trainers and therapists their work extremely hard to help anyone that wants or needs it.

Great fitness center! Very clean with lots of fitness classes to choose from. They also have a lap pool, therapy pool (warm pool), hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Only drawback is it is very pricey.

I was checked in quickly with no waiting time with being called to the back. I was well taken care of and seen to. I got my test results back within minutes, and I was out and back home in an hour. I would most definitely recommend going to Lift Wellness Center for your medical needs.

Staff is very helpful. At The Lift, they are very health focused. They will help your reach your lifestyle goals. The equipment is new and state of the art. The classes and instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. Clean facilities. What more could you ask for?

I moved to Jackson in August of 2014. I became a member of The Lift at that time and even though the facility is nice, it's only as good as the customer service they provide. The staff in general is decent, but as far as trainers are concerned, they have alot to be desired. In my time as a member, I have observed of a number of occasions where members who clearly are new to the life style of fitness stumble around looking lost while trainers do nothing. Most of the trainers stand around leaning on equipment or the center column of the weight area. I have yet to see a trainer approach an inexperienced fitness member and offer assistance in the proper way to train using weights or cable machine. Blatantly wrong form being used that could easily result in injury to that person, yet the trainers stand around and socialize among each other while looking right at the member. I have watched inexperienced members looking at the machines wondering how it works while the trainers standby offering no assistance. These trainers are supposed to have degrees and be certified professional in fitness ( I guess its more about looking cool than helping people).... c and clearly they didn't teach them customer service when they were hired. Tonight while working out, Chelsea (one of the trainers) who decided to hold her group fitness class in the free weight area of the gym ( 4 people). When I went over to use one of the benches, I asked first, and her response was nothing..... she simply pulled the bench back and out of the way as if I was interrupting her class that shouldn't have been staged there in the first place and gave an "eat Sh#! " look .No smile, no response, just a look of go "F" yourself. While I applaud the four members in their pursuit of a healthier lifestyle, group sessions should be done in more remote areas or less bust times of the day.Just because they may be paying a trainer doesn't make them a more valuable member than me. Lauren isn't much better. Most of them walk around like a bunch of pre-madonnas. Page is about the only trainer who is pleasant and always says hello to members. Anyways, that sums it up and by the way LIFT trainers, ANYONE can go online and get a fitness certification for $200.00. That doesn't make you a good or qualified fitness trainer.... your their to do a job and part of that job is customer service ALSO. Is it worth the membership dues ?? Not even close. I live near by and it's free, but there is no way in hell I would continuing paying for it once the year expires. Professionalism and customer service rolls done from the top of the organization. While the individual should take responsibility for his or her actions, it ultimately falls on the failure to lead by the director and managers of the LIFT facility. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WHAT BUILDS AND SUSTAINS A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS IN A COMMUNITY.

Excellent place to work out. Many, many exercise classes and very good equipment. It is it on the pricier side compared to other places in town, but it far out shines them in terms of the quality of the facility.

This is such a wonderful addition to Jackson. We are so happy that this place is part of the regeneration of the downtown. I see Bryan Thorne for physical therapy and he is just fantastic. If you need some physical rehab, this is the place to come.

Till a few weeks ago I had no idea they had a health clinic for pre employment physicals. But they do, I believe it operates as a normal doctors office also. The building was nice, it's on the far end separated from the gym but in the same building. Nicest waiting room I've ever been in, hands down. Friendly staff & very professional. I had trouble with the eye exam but the nurse gave me the options and the consequences of those options. I have always preferred up front & blunt than sneaky & unsure. I went to 4 different rooms for testing & seeing the doctor. Different nurses at each one. From reception to walking out I must say they made me comfortable & I never felt rushed or in the way. I made plans to return in a few months for DOT physical after finding out their price. Never thought I'd consider a doctors office a "hidden gem" of downtown Jackson. But there is a first time for everything.

Doesn't meet expectation, doesn't get a 3 star.
I use it for rock wall and pool. No open climb. Open climb isn't an expectation, but the Lift isn't consistent with listed times, and employees sometimes quit rock wall early to cover other areas. It's disappointing I pay $50+/month to drive or ride down to waste time to find it closed, but it's the only place nearby. They have started using belay when an autobelay is out for maintenance, but they are out for like a month when theyre out. Naked people in the locker rooms are not a thing I like to turn a corner and run into. A ping pong table would be an inexpensive effective investment with good usage. They can pay for that with one or two year memberships. Or a rock wall and pool use only discount. I don't use the weights that often but they met expectation, and the cardio equipment. They do have a bunch of tvs with radio channels. Overhead music is usually good, but is getting less so.

I m not sure what Jessica s job description is, but it definitely does not include customer service. I showed up with a prescription for cardiac rehab. Because of the way it was written they could not take it. Instead of trying to help me out, Jessica made me wait an hour before coming out to explain she was very busy and could not do anything till later in the afternoon.

This all comes after I explained that I lived out of town and very desperately needed to get the issue resolved so I did not lose my job. My employment depends on getting this rehab completed.

Jessica was rude and unprofessional. As I left, I called my doctor one more time and they said they had placed a call with Jessica and we re waitng on her return call.

Josefina and Erica were my therapists and they were fantastic. They are great assets to Lift Therapy. If you need Lymphedema Therapy this is the place and these therapists are just excellent. I want to thank them both for their treatment of me. Very professional. God bless you both.
