Great place to see live wild animals moving freely...

Great place to see live wild animals moving freely.
It was a lovely day there was a security system around and good variety of animals.we enjoyed a lot
Lovely experience seeing the animals as you drive by. Some animals came so close.
Amazing place, loads of animals out on show. 4 stars for sure, only thing that could be better is if more of the carnivores were out in the safari, such as the tigers. As longleat has tigers through the safari rather than cages. Also, get rid of the fake dinosaurs and ice age stuff, that could be room for more animals!
Great, loads of animals to see. Also other stuff to do. But if you have tesco vouchers it only covers the safari entrance (as per terms, but who reads those)
Had a great day despite the weather, the only downside was the amount of people back to back traffic all the way round so couldn't enjoy it, majority off animals the first time round was not out so was a long 4 hours. However second time round was so much enjoyable went at our own pace and we actually seen the lions, cheaters, highlight of the day for me was the elephants, lions and feeding the giffafe at the end.
West midlands Safari should really do a time slot appointment to stop the ques and the amount off cars going around at once instead of thinking about the money
Such a wonderful place. So much to see. We took my granddaughter there for her 3rd birthday. Thank you for such a lovely day
It's a good place. Tickets are quite expensive though. Sadly the White tigers and cheetahs are kept behind fenced walls. One male lion with like 10+ females around him. You get to feed some of the animals which is pretty cool. It's quite small though. You could finish the course quite quick and it can get annoying when people drive in front of you and park on the best view blocking your view and it's like they remain there for such a long time. So most spots are a good view for one vehicle. People seem quite friendly and the foods OK. They have fried chips and ketchup yum.
Its not the biggest but the closest to animal experience
Had a fab time there from start to finish despite the awful weather it didn't disappoint especially since we went on the water flume got wet anyways so it didn't matter. The animals were amazing and the food didn't disappoint talk about quick service like the minute we sat down our food was on the table. Just brilliant. Worth every penny and your time.
Didn't see many animals no tigers no giraffes no ostriches no canals and way too expensive admission fees, won't be going back there, kids were not impressed with the lack of animals aswell aswell
perfect place for kids
and adults and kids just love it
I loved it st this place it was one first time going loved it when the animals came to the car to feed him good place to go in would go again
Me and my family loved it here, will be going again very soon
It's good value for money & u get a free return ticket, we always go every yr without fail, we went in the 6wks hol's with our son & we used our free return just this saturday, weather was a treat & plus they had it all set up 4 Halloween & the staff were all dressed up aswel, open till 9pm so yey fab day as usual
Improved a lot since last visit staff great very helpfull would definitely recommend going on safari in truck you go off track again your been told all about animals and park loads of time over an hr in there truck nice and cool and time to feed the animals restaurants clean and reasonably priced fair though small over priced if youve more than one child its expensive day out you do get free return ticket i went in the week with my disabled young man quieter great day
Great day out with the kids. Safari drive was about 45 mins. Flow of cars was steady. There are two lanes so you're not trapped on the go slow. Lots of opportunities to take a quicker route too. The theme park was nice too. Loved the sea lion show, only issue was lots of disabled people were left standing because abled visitors sat on disabled seat with their kids. I told the lady working there but she didn't do anything about it. Didnt do the rides but if you want to, ensure you book in advance as the tickets are very expensive in the park. Soft play area had benches for picnics and audio for experience. The African village was very stereotypical, something for them to think about!
Amazing day out, I did not do the car safari, but there is more than enough to do in the walk around sections, it also has a theme park in the wild area, not exactly draytom manor, but it is really nice.
I would recommend this to anyone, it surprised me and it will almost certainly surprise you as well.
The Penguin enclosure is small, but you can get good photos of the penguins - plus if you go at certain times you can feed the penguins and not get ripped off.
I have never been a supporter of Safari Parks, but as the years passed and the animals on the endangered species list keeps growing sadly these could be the only places left to see some of the amazing creatures & animals. As with everything some Safari Parks do it better than others and the West Midlands Safari Park I have to admit is one of the better examples with over 165 species of exotic animals.
Not the cheapest day out but it appears that the admission money is well spent and with help from club card points we only had to pay for fuel and snacks as we had a packed lunch on hand.
It also has a theme park, but you have to pay extra for that.
On the Safari Drive you will hopefully get to see elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, rhinos, tigers & cheetahs.
Arrive early and enjoy a whole family day out.
Went with Partner and my Elderly Mom we all really enjoyed driving through the Safari the animals looked happy ( as well as can be in captivity ) prices about average for an attraction.
An average day. Bit of nothing once the Safari is over, however the food is awesome throughout the park.
I loved every bit of it, i loved feeding the lorikeets, i think that was the best bit
AVOID the safari drive through in peak times as you will just burn out your clutch.. they allow everyone in at the same time instead of staggering it or having a limit om cars per hour etc.. saw 1 x zebra and lots of buffaloes. Nothing else
Theme park looked ok.. aquarium and reptile house were very mediocre.. best part of the entire experience was the dinosaur park..
I would never return..knowsley is better
Lots of well looked after happy animals that come so close to the car you can touch them (even the Lions)
It's a good value for money park, the safari is great and I love that you are able to go back round it again and they give you a free ticket for next time too which is amazing. Really great to see all the animals, watch out for the camels though as they really are cheeky.
It's so good that you're able to get so close to all animals and to stroke some of them too.
If you are looking to go around the park afterwards I would say to only go as far as the penguins or reptile rooms as the rest of the park is really only for children so your best bet would be to drive around the safari a couple of times. It is aimed at children the park but they all seem to thoroughly enjoy it so can't say a bad word against it.
We will be back within the month to use the free ticket before the season runs out.
Used our free return ticket. Good place lots to do value for money
great day out, bit expensive however, you get a free return on another occasion.
Really fun day out for all.
Vast variety of animals all look well and in great condition.
Really enjoyed all the animals even when my stepson pressed the button to open the boot in the lions enclosure.
Would definitely recommend to everyone as there s lots too do it s definitely worth a day out.
For 24 quid all I experienced was a 4 mile long traffic jam and a few deer, the lions were hiding in a bush and I think I took 5 years off my clutches life after the amount of hill starts I had to do.
It took almost 3 hours to get back to the start of the drive where the toilets were located although I could've probably urinated in the lion enclosure they were that lazy.
I'll give one star because I did get to touch a zebras nose.
This is amazing thank you for a lovely day
Room som one
We visited yesterday and had a great time. The animals seemed well cared for and happy.
The new dinosaur walk and ice age walk were brilliant
Wonderful day . Not too many there due to weather lions were out in force up close especially the white lions. Toilets near car park now knocked down temp ones being put in place, so had to use toilets inside fun area near penguin enclosure. Not a criticism just a warning in case your desperate for looking.
Great fun kids love it animals well looked after and the rides are good fun could do with more adrenalin type rides but still had a good day found food a little expensive but take a picnic not enough toilets or seating around for the amount of people there sadly
Bit expensive but was fun to be there and go around in a car, feed the animals.
If you enjoy sitting in a traffic jam with little to look at other than a couple of rhinos and some sheep this is for you. Very similar to the M25 but a lot more expensive.
Had a nice time very organised lots of staff around. Shame not as many animals as our last visit.
Not well organised at all, thousands of cars stuck in traffic without any apparent limit in numbers. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend to anyone.
Excellent day out. Loved the children's play area - Boj
If you love animals the this is the place to go. There is a wide variety of animals to look at. Brilliant day out for the family.
Friendly staff and lots to see and do, although very expensive compared to what it used to be.
Luckily had vouchers for money off but was still a lot even then.
Probably the best Safari park in Britain. The staff are very friendly and clearly love their animals. The park itself is pretty impressive too, there are plenty of things for kids to do. During our last visit we ended up capturing what ended up being a viral video of a Giraffe getting its head trapped in a car window. Luckily the Giraffe was unharmed.
Fab day out and nothing quite like a giraffe eating out of the palm of your hand whilst you fuss them with the other.
A good day out for the family, with a great variety of animals to observe, and mini theme park at the end. A bit pricey for a family, but you do normally get a free return ticket, and as an occasional visit it is an amazing experience
the monkeys stole my car, they drove it into the tiger encloser
Amazing place, couldn't recommend enough. Seeing all the animals was fantastic enough but the theme park bit was great too. It works well, I didn't think it got too busy because loads of ppl were still driving round the safari so the theme park wasn't packed. No huge queues like at other theme parks. Food lovely, didn't have to wait long and great value for money! Staff friendly. It was a long drive for us but so worth it :)
Way to busy for it to be any fun. The safari bit was just choca block with cars. Took 2 and a half hours to drive round. Everyone was bored and lost interest in the animals. Do not go in the holidays!!
Great place to visit, the safari is under going some work so the route is very unclear and could do with some signs but apart from that it's a brilliant day out.
Highly recommend. Loved feeding the animals. My other half loved feeding the giraffes
Lots of queuing, doesn't seem there is a great deal of thought given to allowing cars to see all areas of the safari without be in a traffic jam.
However when you do see the animals roaming free at the start of the safari it is the highlight.
Lovley day out with kids great value any age group will enjoy it to adults to baby's ...
Had amazing time definitely will be going again
Great for children. Well managed
Goo value for money book in advance for best offers
BRILLIANT, I have been here many times, but not like this a almost rainy day, but went anyway, the animals were still out and friendly, well looked after. Recommend a camera, also worth booking vip, did the lemur feed, and was amazing animals were very friendly and well looked after
It's a nice place to go but I think
there should be a limit of visitors aloud each day. It's a great chance to have fun on rides for ages. I love it . Just the traffic and business today
Great what they do for the animals and always a great day out. Only downside we weren't able to go into the lemur woods because couldn't take the pushchair in we had to leave it outside the meerkat place and no offense to the place but anyone could just steal it and it wasn't cheap. So quite disappointed with that.
Lovely to see all the animals although the 2 lanes should be split so you can stop in one lane and keep moving in the other-especially at busy times. As expected food over priced and generally expensive overall so book BEFORE you to but don't mind paying as animals cared for which is the main thing. Cheeky to have someone approaching your car before you've even paid to ask you to buy a guidebook too!!
